The Covina library has many programs for adults and children. My daughter is enrolled in the toy loan programs as well as the summer reading incentive program. Additionally the play area for kids and the abundant access of computers is great. Initially when walking in, the library looks an average size, but as you explore, you will see that it's much larger than first imagined. It's a great place and offers many summer shows and events.

I love Covina Library but I cannot get information about returning my books.

It's been months now.

The staff was always helpful when I would visit but with Covid, I don't know what to do

My fines must be astronomical by now.
Oh, well

I always support libraries.

A longstanding institution in the East San Gabriel...

A longstanding institution in the East San Gabriel Valley for generations, the Covina Public Library is a community center second to none and its various collections contain a plethora of books, DVDs, audiobooks, and other materials for check-out; on-site recreational reading, research & reference; classroom assignments, study, and homework; and all forms of intellectual enrichment. Imagine a repository designed for everyone in the community regardless of age, ancestry or assets, and find out that it is no fantasy or fable--but a reality in the heart of historic Covina! This library leaves no stone unturned for families, bibliophiles, entrepreuners, small business owners, students, preschoolers, and the general public. There are multitudinous events available throughout the week and on Saturdays, including Makerspace, Summer Reading Program, arts and crafts, and holiday-specific programming, such as ornament-making at the Tree-Lighting Ceremony and visiting Santa Claus, among myriad other attractions.
COMING UP ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2019: THE FRIENDS OF THE COVINA PUBLIC LIBRARY'S ANNUAL AUTUMN ALL-DAY BOOK & BAKE SALE plus THE LOUIS L'AMOUR COLLECTED WORKS SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER. Don't forget, that the Friends of the Covina Public Library operate a discount retail bookstore, the BOOK NOOK, on the premises, which you will immediately encounter when you walk through the lobby.

Honestly people come here to chat. I feel like libraries are no longer quiet and the librarians dont even do anything about it. The people here seriously make full loud conversations. It is ridiculous.

I guess we came at a "bad time"; gueeze guys I know its Saturday and you guys want to go hang out with friends or be with your families but you still have to do your job and be corteous with people. There were still 15 minutes and one of the workers switched with another one because she was not "fast enough" to help me get a library card ..just needed to put 5 numbers in. She looked desperate to go home..literally running around in the library. I hope next time me and my daughter have a better experience.

A really nice library with lots of children's resources and programs. They seem to have a good balance between traditional library and being a place to get free internet. I've had great interactions with the librarians.

They are a system of one branch, so you won't have access to the large pool media of the LA county or City systems have.

A couple small gripes, I wish they were open on Mondays and they seem to have a large number of lost books and then many duplicate copies of others in their system. These are both downsides I guess of being a small system.

The Covina library is a great one. They have a great selection of books, dvds, cds, and newspapers. They have awesome programs that are free, nice decor, helpful and friendly staff, and pretty much anything you d need at a library. They also offer plenty of computers to use. Even though they have a huge selection of books, you can put in a request for the book you desire and they ll have it in at no time. It is also a good place to study as they have a handful of tables, though it can get a little loud sometimes, especially with the little kids. It is very easy to navigate the library, and if you have trouble locating something you can always ask for help. The library is always clean and maintained very well. Overall, it is very kid-friendly and engaging, but also appeals to the adults at the same time. I ve been going to the library for 5 years now and I will keep on doing so.

The Covina Public Library is always a great place to visit. They have a lot of activities for families, free movies and snacks, the toy loan program, an their summer reading program, and their annual tea party. The staff is always really helpful and friendly and you can tell the amount of work and effort that goes into decorating the library and their programs.
