We needed a place to stay so we cold attend the Blazers game. We had stayed at the Courtyad before for an event and we had excellent service and the room was nice... this time it was the same thing. Hot cocoa was in tap in the reception area as well... my fiance loved that!
Stayed overnight to catch the Blazers/Lakers game at the Moda Center. Less than a 10 minute walk to the arena. Street parking was affordable. Will definitely stay here again if I go to another game!
Was great. Sad no food , pool or hot tub but that wasn't there fault. Guest services were amazing. Checked us in and out easily and safely.

Good hotel with a decent resteraunt and bar. Limited vegan menu and small gym or I would rate it higher. Stayed a couple of weeks and overall it was a good experience.
Other than an ill-fitting shower curtain, was a great stay with good service. Strong wi-fi too.

Enjoyed our stay there. It has some newly renovated rooms which was nice. One small compliant I have is that the water pressure could be way better in the shower. Everything else is great!
Stayed during one of our rare hot-spells here in Portland. Initially was going to stay 3 days..ended up staying a week(no air conditioning at home ). Enjoyed the room and they were Very accommodating as i added more nights on to my stay More

I was duped for $50 the second I hit the driveway. This put a bad taste in my mouth from the beginning. The room was very clean and it is a great hotel. I just don't like to be take advantage of. Apparently travelers from out of the area are supposed to know that in this part of town you have to pay for parking in addition to your room rate. Literally 6 miles up the road at the other Courtyard, this is not the case. I paid more per square foot for my car to have a place to sleep than I did for my room. Maybe I should have asked for maid service for my car too. Unhappy customer here.
This hotel was excellent! Great service from the moment we pulled into valet. Front desk staff was attentive and helpful at both check in and check out. Room was clean and comfortable.
Wonderful hotel. The staff is amazing and their salt water pool was incredible. It's walking distance to downtown if you like to walk and they offer a free shuttle downtown if you don't.
Good customer service. Valet employee was a bit slacking off.
Room big enough for exercise videos which is good. Breakfast was a little pricey. Chocolate in the room was a nice touch. Could use some public parking
The hotel is good, but the amount charged for parking is ridiculous. Even for a city hotel. Would get higher rating if it didn't cost an arm, leg AND kidney to stay AND park.
Parked here for a concert at the Moda center. Best thing ever. They valet my car and I simply walk to the show. Short, easy walk. No stress!

It would be great if the hotel added a small microwave for the room. The room we had came with a mini fridge which was great, beds are comfortable. Room was clean.
The Marriott brand alone is already a guarantee, although there are different categories of establishments, from 3 stars to 5 luxury, the quality and comfort is always the same, very good.
In this case it is a 3 star with an excellent location, great accommodation capacity, very spacious rooms, pets are allowed and as always the correct and polite staff.
Marriott hotel, offers good service for all economic possibilities.

Nice clean rooms, pool and spa, close to the Max and other public transportation. Conveniently located next to the Convention Center and Rose Quarter. Had excellent front desk service.
The hotel itself was very clean, modern, and quiet and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and accommodating.
I was a little disappointed with our room as we were told it was just renovated, but the shower door leaked like crazy and the floor grout was stained black in the bathroom, I also noticed that the metal ring around the shower head had broke away from the wall. These are all things that I probably wouldn t have noticed if I hadn t been told it was newly renovated.
This hotel does use a valet to park guests cars. Most of the valets were very efficient and respectful of our vehicle but one of them came tearing around the corner from the parking area way too fast and was inches from running our brand new car into another guests vehicle. We felt like this disrespectful to our property and caused unneeded wear on our studded tires as well. The experience made us hesitant to continue parking on hotel property and will definitely make us reconsider where we stay in the future.
Thank you to the staff at this Marriott! We were staying for a medical visit from out of state. Just needed to be comfortable, warm, dry and have a good night's sleep. They made sure we were well taken care of. Seeing to our every need. Loved having a restaurant in the lobby! Also room service was available. Close to alot of venues, Lloyd Center, movie theatre, restaurants, light rail, streetcar service, buses and walking distance to all the venues. We were able to relax, get to our appointments and eat when we wanted, where we wanted. All in all a great experience. Thank you staff for the great care and service.
As I was just visiting a freind who was in town can only go off of first impression. The hotel seemed very nice and clean and the rooms lpoked large and we'll kept.
Not really thrilled. Rooms are nice but really no amenities. You are a captive audience when it comes to parking. You either park on the street and pay. Or you pay $25 to valet park...no free guest parking.

Room was very clean, spacious, and well lit. The layout of the room made it easy to move around and keep our belongings organized. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The valets were the nicest guys, room service was reasonably priced, and the location is ideal for walking to events at Moda or Veteran's Colliseum or down to Lloyd Center. It was a bit noisy in the parking lot the second night (our window was right above the main entrance where the valets are) but nothing that was horribly annoying. Overall, definately worth staying at and one of the nicer and reasonably priced hotels in the area.
Clean, friendly staff, conveniently located, and all the things you would typically expect from a Marriott. The included amenities were nice, the room was cozy and warm, and the bed super comfortable (the Marriotts have my favorite hotel beds). Our only complaint is that because it's close to the convention center it houses a lot of events. The night we stayed was pretty busy and loud, not exactly the best choice for those looking for a romantic escape. But enjoyed our stay for all the previous reasons stayed.
A lot of street noise made it difficult to sleep. Very clean. Comfy bed, good water pressure, good breakfast options. Request a room high up.
Decent, clean rooms. Under construction, but, good customer service still. On top floor, older building and not well insulated from the city noise! didnt sleep well due to outside noise! I get its in city, but, I've stayed in cities before and didn't deal with THAT much noise!!

Clean room, good service. Staff is good, but they would not let me use my Mariott rewards card because I booked it through Expedia. That's a stupid policy, and if it is across all Mariotts or just this one I do not know. 25 dollars per night for parking is a very high cost as well.

Rooms are clean. Showers on the upper floors newly renovated but small issues with doors not closing all the way and water leaking. Amenities are as expected from a CY. Service at the bar and restaurant were just average but with endless restaurants within walking / 5 minute Uber ride, plenty of other options. Staff friendly and management team truly there to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
Perfect for attending events at the Moda Center and Convention Center. Very brief walk. You must pay to park though.
Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Centrally located in Portland. Does have valet parking but there is plenty of public parking in front of the hotel. It's a pay by the hour but is free after 7 pm. Always out during the day and returned later in the evening so it was no problem for us. The max train from the airport stop's a block or two away. Has a small bar and dining room but we spent a good amount of time exploring Portland's pearl district and the food trucks located near China Town. Portland is a lot safer at night than most cities I have visited and we felt more than comfortable walking around the different districts at night. Plenty to see and do. Highly recommend the Japanese gardens, rose garden and take the gondola ride. We spent an entire day at the falls located 30 minutes away
I was in town for a conference and the hosting organization had arranged for this hotel. There was continuous remodeling taking place the entire time I was there. On Sunday, there was a hammer drill or reciprocating saw making tremendous noise for at least 5 hours. There was almost no water pressure in my room; it took at least 10 minutes to rinse off the soap in the shower. Avoid this hotel.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Walls are a lIttle thin, and we could hear things going on next door.
Clean place with professional staff. Only problem I seen was hospitality should be to everyone not just guests. I know public bathroom is not standard here, but emergency happen to everyone one time or another. The park has no rest room across the street, it is humane to not deny the restroom. I would of have a five other then that. Marriot has high standards to make guests feel special and at home. Great location to access Moto Center, Convention Center, Lloyd center shopping and local bars and night clubs.

This is my boyfriend s google account. I m checked into the Courtyard by Marriot. Go to my room, check out the bathroom... it s danky looking and not to mention hairs all over the floor. The floor looks absolutely dirty. I called, the gentleman graciously changed me to another room.... still hairs all over the bathroom floor. I m here for a week and afraid to use the shower. I wish I had brought flip flops because thats the condition it s in.
Overall a good place to stay. Room is pretty clean. However pillows and bedding quilts quality can be better. Valet parking fee is $29 with in & out privilege.
By far one of the best Courtyard I've stayed in. Everything in my room worked, clean and renovated. Friendly staff. It didn't have a normal Bistro like most Courtyards. Instead a full restaurant with great breakfast options! The bar was also pretty open.
The hotel was under construction. So it was a little dusty and I couldn't get a good feel out of it. Once it's done I'm sure it will be amazing. The room was very nice, comfortable and spacious. The bed was super soft and comfy. I would definitely stay here again.
We spent a few days here - we were very comfortable & enjoyed our stay! The services and accommodations were excellent. Martha at the receptionist desk is quite pleasant - she went out of her way to help us with our needs. We ll definitely come back here again !

Nice hotel with easy access to public transportation to pretty much anywhere a visitor would want to go. Signature awesome beds (primary reason I try to always stay at Marriot). Staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast although not free is really outstanding as is the wait staff. Rooms are very clean and the housekeepers are sweet and aaccommodating. My only issue is that the shower door leaves about a 2" gap at the wall allowing the floor to become very wet. I would have fixed this had I a screwdriver in my bag.
My sisters and I stayed here to go see a Blazers game. The room was great, bed was comfy and there were a lot of outlets which I appreciated. The sink and mirror were outside of the bathroom, which I thought was a little weird, I guess because I don't like doing my morning hygiene routine in the common area. Fridge had plenty of room. I really enjoyed my stay.
Clean rooms, and nice staff. Walls were paper thin though. You could hear everything going on in the rooms around you. The website also says they have valet parking available, but it is actually mandatory and an extra $25 a day

I stayed a few nights at the hotel as a guest and it was very nice. The room was at a great temperature when I walked in. The staff was very nice and got me checked in at a great hour. The only weird thing about the room was the lights. It seemed like I had to travel around the room for the lamps and didn't really have any wall light switches other than the bathroom and sink area. So I just kept to the switch on the lamp next to the bed. Overall, a great experience!
I stayed here for 3 nights n had no issues. The management was good, was never disturbed and room was taken care of everyday
My stay at Courtyard by Marriott was excellent. The room was clean, ample towels, and highly effective A/C. All staff were friendly and more than happy to help with specific requests. The front desk, Matt in particular, went above and beyond with excellent customer service.
