Food was good service was not good....when you have to wait on drinks,not good. Happy hour and beer prices stink.

Don't bother with their Tost rewards program it dosent work most of the time...

Used to DJ karaoke nights here. Great memories. It's an awesome place to grab a drink and catch up with friends. The cornbread muffins will make you happy.

Amazing food fast service and all around awesome atmosphere. I had the Mississippi Peacemaker burger and it was godly.

Would give 5 stars, but the nachos are nothing like they were. New nachos not great old nachos amazing. Bring back old nachos....

After waiting waaaaaaaaaaaay too long for our table's party, we were finally seated. The food was worth it. My party was happy and their food was amazing!! The birthday lady was happy and so were we!! The corn muffins, sangria, ribs, brisket nachos, shrimp, I tasted everyone's food and I left satisfied. I wasn't even stuffed after all that food and had dessert.

It was better in the past. Service was amazing. Food, not so much.

Try the BBQ shrimp. Wrapped in bacon, doused in BBQ sauce... these are the best I've had.

In some ways the best stuff are the sides. gooIt's good, but not great.

Food is good but they have numerous issues. Kitchen can be very slow. Air conditioning has never worked properly during the summer in over 10+ years. Beers are very over priced. Some are over 8 dollars for a 10 oz. One day the wings are the best around the next day you may get what looks like a pile of burnt pigeon legs they are so small.

Food was good. Took an hour and ten minutes to get to go order.

Extremely lowsey service, had a much longer wait than their "higher" expected time of 40 minutes and we had to wait well over an hour. We spent half the time standing inside being ignored by the staff and there wasn't anywhere for us to even sit down because of their lack of seating.

This is now my favorite place to eat. The best wings in Virginia. Everything is smoked to perfection including the MEAT LOAF!!! This is the best smoke and barbecue place you're ever likely to find. The service is very good and fast, the atmosphere is comfy. The beer selection is ecclectic. Recommended.

Came here to finally get some food after a long drive from NJ ... was told to order takeout at the pickup window .. Stood there and as every server or restaurant personnel walked in and out of the kitchen , absolutely no one offered to take my order .. I eventually just walked out of frustration . Won't return or recommend this place to anyone .. not even my enemies

Amazing... BBQ Egg Rolls new on the menu... A must try... Everything is really good. And not as expensive as most places...

They really only cater to large groups. Lots of half empty tables waiting on the other half of their party as customers wait and wait.

The food was good but the manager messed up our reservation. We booked a room for a baby shower but they double booked the room so we were forced to have the shower in the middle of the dining area. NOT COOL!!!!!

Was not happy with this visit. The food seemed like it was left over from lunch and was dried out. $75 down the drain.

Just amazing. I grew up in Kansas City Kansas and this place is it for this area as far as country barbeque. The smoked chicken Is fall of the bone goodness. Great service too.. The general manager took the time to come to the table when we had questions about how the potato salad was made. Sooo good.. Great area. Great food. Stomach hurts!! In a good way.

Food is great but service was lacking today. And the ceiling beside our table was dripping water onto the floor where a towel had been placed on the floor. Didn't seem very professional, sanitary and no staff made mention of this. We visibly watched it drip our entire meal. Health code? On top of that the women's bathroom sink was leaking water. This was marked but the water had spread under the stalls. Perhaps more of a restaurant piping/water problem?

Went here for a business dinner with some NASA folks. Everyone got the BBQ and meats (I got the tuna, which was fantastic). They have a huge beer menu. Very good place to go for dinner.

During COVID they were very accommodating and friendly making it an enjoyable experience.

Service was fast and friendly even though they were busy. Brisket was pretty tasty, could have been a little more tender. All bbq sauces were nice. Onion rings were really good!

Tasty barbecue.

Ordered online, one of the staff meet us at the car to get our name and retrieve our order. The brisket was flavorful and tender, and the cornbread muffins are delicious. Glad I ordered extra.

Don't leave without having banana pudding!!! Brisket cannot be beat! They have combos that can provide a second meal to take home. They serve real country collards. But again, GET THE BANANA PUDDING. I order it when I order my meal because I will take home brisket to have room for the pudding. Their bread pudding is a close second and I have ordered the bread pudding "to go" (as of I was taking to someone else) and pig out on the banana pudding which does not travel well. EXCELLENT service ALWAYS!

Very happy with this location. Great food and service. More food than I could eat. I definately recommend.

Edit - recently had lunch. More flies around tables than outside and music louder than a block party.

Let me SEE reservations more than a MONTH AGO. 25 people showed for our STAFF office party! And THAT Grinch STOLE our time! Well there is a lot of MONEY going elsewhere this Christmas, and ALL through the Year!

Love the pork shoulder, the service is great and the place is very convenient.

Top notch brisket sandwich. Loved the hot potato salad and beans too. But to me what makes a great BBQ restaurant is the sauce. And this place delivers there in a big way.
Fast efficient service too. Definitely will go back.

The food is amazing, the night I went they were a little busy and they're bartender Carolina mumbled three times how she wished she had another shift and she provided poor service and a bad attitude. Becca was awesome .

This place has the best BBQ...and they have these BBQ egg rolls that are to die for...u gotta try it out...Oh yea their warm potato salad is AWESOME!!!!

Always a great place for good food. Great southern BBQ and the meals are large for the price. Enjoy this restaurant every time we get down to Newport News, VA.

The food is so good and you get a number of options. There is something on the menu for everyone. The atmosphere is family friendly and the staff greeted us with a smile and they were very helpful and courteous.

Good beer selection... Just need to remember there's more to the world than IPAs

Good food. Large portions. Mostly good service. Sweet "tea" was sugary water, and didn't refill any of the drinks.
