County Grill Yorktown Review

I'm from out of town, went in to order food 2 go and get a drink while I waited.. I'm a Buffalo fan and show it PROUDLY!!!!! The TWO people(Female n Male) were AWESOME!!!!! They showed me CRAZY love and made an AWESOME, Made To Order BURGER!!! THANK YOU AANNNDDDD PLEASE, RECOGNIZE these two associates!!!!!!

I and a friend go there atleast 1 a week and the food is awesome. Check out the County Grill Salad. It is a montrosity of a salad and the taste is great. All fresh ingredients accept for the meat. The only reson the meat is not fresh is because it takes a while to smoke it the way they do and it comes out tasting great. Check out the rest of their pulled pork, chicken or brisket. They are an award winning team of grillers called "Serial Grillers". I have competed against them a couple of times in some grilling competitions and they are awesome!!!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful food and excellent customer service!

All the meat taste the same. The sausage tasted like the brisket and the food was salty. Only good thing we had was the cornbread. The mac n cheese lacked flavor and cheese. It was like eating bland noodles.

This County Grill has a issues with flies in the restaurant it is more than likely do to the fact that the tables are not very clean. The food was good but if there are this may flies in the dining room who knows how many are in the kitchen.

Great BBQ restaurant! My family and I love it here. The food tastes great, and there is an awesome selection of meats and sauces to pick from. Service has always been excellent. They also have a good selection of beers to go with your meal.

A lot of delicious bbq for pretty cheap! Service was a little slow, but it was pretty crowded when we visited. If you're a fan of banana pudding you'll be in heaven!

Good atmosphere and BBQ. Nice selection of sauces. I do find it funny that they play up the whole 'America, f@#k yeah!' vibe, but don't offer a military discount.

We are from out of state and we're driving by and I saw it and we went in. It is fantastic, the food and the staff. Great place. Would differently go back.

Normally good but pork chop was dry and they forgot the gravy.

Excellent. Not sure if there has been a change in ownership but the food is still great - just a slightly different vibe to me. Love the wings and pulled pork. You must arrive very hungry! Love the sauce options.

This place is awesome! Food and service.
The ribs and warm potato salad were incredible.
Our hostess, Sierra was outstanding.
This place is highly recommended.

I've been to County Grill many times before and would offer 5 stars, until my last experience. Heather was my friend & I's waitress on Tuesday night, November 1st. I'll make a list so its easy to read:
1. It took us 30 minutes to get our drinks from the time we sat down
2. It took us the same amount of time to even have a food order put in, to which we had to remind her before she walked away on us again to put it in. We were ready from the second we walked in to order.
3. When she took our order, I had to alter my order from exactly what I did last time so it would be easier on the kitchen because they "would get mad at her." If the minimum of sauces for wings on wing night is more than 2, make that a restaurant wide policy.
3. We both ordered salads, they were phenomenal (that's a plus)
4. 45 minutes later we finally receive our salads, not even our wing orders yet. At this point we were promised more cornbread which never came out for the rest of the time.
5. ONE HOUR AND FIVE MINUTES later I finally received MY wings, my friend didn't even receive hers until 10 minutes later. At this point, my salad has already settled in my stomach and I didn't have an appetite.
6. I asked for a box and walked out of the restaurant without even touching my cold wings. You'd think a manager would be sent over? Nope.
7. Asked for our checks, and she swiftly walks past our table, drops them on the table and says "Here ya go." and walks away. No 'have a good night'? Okay.

As you can tell, I don't think this woman is qualified to represent what County Grill actually stands for. In fact, our experience was so terrible that neither of us ever want to go back to this location. We thought we'd try something new on our Tuesday wing night tradition by going to County Grill instead of another local restaurant, but that was a huge mistake. Poor, Slow, Rude, Terrible service. Please understand, a lot of customers will get mean and rude back, but that's not me. I was silent throughout this entire thing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Hands down it was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. #FireHeather

A little light on the brisket portion, but perfectly cooked

Amazing service, great atmosphere, excellent prices, and huge portions of just great food! Highly recommend.

They have the best banana pudding that I have ever had. If you want good food in a nice down home restaurant then this is the place. I am a huge bread eater and I will tell you they have the best corn bread and muffins that I have ever had. They also have good salads and amazing,barbecue sandwiches. Do not think twice about eating at the County Grill, (you will be completely satisfied in every way )

Amazing service. Food was a little slow getting out but I work in a restaurant so I know how that goes. Waitress seemed stressed but didn't let it affect how she treated us. Definitely coming back

Fiance keeps bringing me! Food always wonderful, cornbread heavenly, drinks alright! Great staff! Great atmosphere!

Little pricey but well worth it. Portion sizes are good and food tastes great. The staff that i interacted with were courteous and polite. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely worth going.

Meat loaf was amazing. The variety of sauces, also up to par. They were also amazing. If you like spicy, then you may be disappointed since the spicy sauce wasn't very spicy.
I've had better brisket, but it came lean, the way we asked for it.
Overall quick service, price was reasonable, and I would come back in the future.
Still the best BBQ place is smokey dreams in Greenville, SC.
