This is an over the top YMCA with multiple pools, slides, work out centers, many gyms, climbing wall, etc. Something for everyone of all ages. We belong to anoth Y, but enjoy the opportunity to play indoor lacrosse and soccer at the Countryside Y.

I recently joined this YMCA and couldn't be happier. I've always felt a little anxious joining gyms because of the thought that people may judge me. Not here! The instructors and staff are so friendly and wonderful to talk to. We got an amazing tour from Anita and were blown away by the amount of activities for kids and adults. Our son is 3 years old and full of energy and its a great place to take him and let him go to child watch or bring him to the blocks room. He can play basketball or go swimming in the family pool. Can't wait to sign him up for some classes in the winter. A really great place for the whole family.
This is a fantastic YMCA! I love the cardio strength center! They are always updating their machines and have the most equipment around. Plus everyone there is very friendly and helpful!
I am a member at another YMCA and I was trying to get my sister to take my nieces herr for swim lessons. We were made to feel so unwelcome herr by 1 employee, in charge of membership. My sister is refusing to bring them here for lessons let alone join! This was not the fault of any other staff member but this one person, I believe her name was Judy.
The classes are good. It's very clean. Be sure to call first. They are terrible about updating their schedule online. I've wasted so much of my time going there for classes that have been canceled.
Great place, my family gets here often. My children and I visited the Y today. Had a great time, basketball, racket ball, pool, biking , hot tub and sauna. Get a few days off, might come back tomorrow.
Nice place since the remodel but it was so poorly maintained before I'm sure it won't take long for the new editions to get run down also. Most of the staff is pretty nice here but they are very unorganized and it's a nightmare dealing with the people in the office.
Great facilities! However, you can't get internet reception in most parts of the YMCA, I guess because it's built solid concrete block. There is allegedly wifi, but the speeds are so slow they are not usable. It wouldn't be a huge expense to upgrade, and it's been this way for the three years we have been members. It's 2019, there really is no excuse for this.
This place is huge, clean, and has friendly staff. They have everything from rock climbing to gyms. They also have saunas if you're into that kinda thing
Went to the pool for the first time with my kids today, not knowing what to expect...the staff was friendly, respectful, clean, and it followed all the CDC guidlines....chairs 6 ft apart, lifeguards wore masks...we were happy and thankful to be there...thank you YMCA
Childcare services: pro's: they offer classes such as free swimming one day a week, gymnastics, Spanish, ballet, piano. They offer testing for hearing, and autism. The food for the kids is decent. Most teachers are nice. They teach Christian values. They provide updates to parents. They have fun activities over the holidays for families. Most reasonably priced daycare around. Con's: Several days my child screamed and cried because he didn't want to go. Some of the teachers are rough verbally. Some teachers yell too much. The bathrooms are gross for the kids. They lack patience. The swimming classes aren't actually classes. My son still can't swim after going there for a year. My son was tested and we were told he might be on the spectrum but, it's really too early to tell. But, he definitely has sensory issues. Especially, when it gets loud. We bought him noise cancelling head phones. Which were recommended by the specialist they provided. However, they don't let him wear them.
The picture is of myself (in the background frowning) and one of my Mortgage lender buddies (looking determined) working out in one of the Grand Halls of this absolutely MASSIVE YMCA. I have no need to be a BUFF Realtor, but I'd prefer to not be a FLUFF Realtor. So we popped into the YMCA, a decision I regretted for the right reasons, and my face reflects that.
There aren't many places now-a-days that can be classified as staples of the community, but Countryside YMCA is one of them. My family and I lived in Countryside, and you can literally WALK to the YMCA from that neighborhood. I liked to walk to it to drop my daughter off, and think to myself "I should go in there more" before walking back home. We live in Shaker now, and it's still conveniently located. My daughter loves the Gymnastics program, and I love having a membership and planning to start going next week.
You get a lot of value for your membership, consulting and the works. They offer a military discount, which I appreciate, and I like the sheer amount of extra curriculars the program offers to my family, even non-fitness things like photography. There are multiple pools, and courts for every sport you can think of in the labyrinthian halls of this monument to health and betterment.
If you want to meet your neighbors, and look serious about the intent to get fit, there is no reason NOT to elect Countryside YMCA as your choice. It does get crowded at peak times, but at least you can suffer together with other members of the community as you remind yourself that even though you don't need muscles to sell houses, it couldn't hurt.
Except for the pain associated with attaining said muscles.
The beating heart of Lebanon. Swimming pools, gymnastics, fitness classes, climbing wall, indoor track, weight rooms, basketball courts, kids activities, childcare, summer camps, and more are just a few, visible ways this Y lifts up the surrounding community.
This is a great looking place with lots to offer from swimming, cardio, weightlifting, scheduled events, and friendly staff. Parking is confusing if it s your first time being here because the ymca is in the back. The front is some kind of event center.
Beautiful large facility with many amenities including five swim pools, whirl pools and saunas. Large variety of weight machines, free weights, teadmills, stationary bicycles and eleptical training machines. Some special equipment for injury recovery and rehabilitative motion. Several family shower facilities for both women and girls, and men and boys. Several indoor basketball courts, indoor track, gymnastics area and a variety of hallways you can walk with stairs to climb. There's more go explore it for yourself and there's a 25 meter or yard outdoor pool with a deep forteen foot diving well, outdoor track, outdoor tennis, large outdoor shaded pavilion and more. You have to go see it to believe it, it's great fun for the whole family, plenty of parking and endless possibilities for your workout. There's even plenty of free parking and quite a few lockers to use during your workout. The schedule there is busy so it could take a little time to learn. Great family oriented fun.
Line this place, especially the Stolle Center for sure 50 and up. Big lockers , quiet, clean, locker room, choice of heated or cool pools, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
I have been going to the YMCA in lebanon for over 10 years on my parents family plan, and it is a great establishment. I recently turned 22 and had to get my own membership which I understand it was only a matter of time before I had to get off my family's plan. But, I am in the military and was very happy to see a discount for military members. When I called and asked they said I will receive 10% off my membership fee, unfortunately I worked all night from midnight to 8am so decided to sleep and go in at a later time to pay for the membership. Today I went in and did not receive a 10% discount when getting my membership because due to a lack of knowledge on the employee doing my paperwork. The offer is only for active duty military (title 10 personnel) which I am. I have one of the select few jobs in the national guard that is placed under title 10 orders and works full time instead of title 32 which is strictly national guard. So the individual did not recognize that I am active duty that works for the national guard. I understand it is very uncommon but I even tried to explain it and they still refused to give me the discount. I NEVER feel that a company is obligated to give a military discount, it is a privilege when one is offered. I take advantage of this privilege whenever it is offered because my bank account shows I am active duty as well LOL. I just hope that an individual on the staff is trained to recognize that an individual can be title 10 (active duty) in the national guard.
This place is big new extremely nice extremely clean and very well organized. It s so large you could almost get lost in it which I almost did. I went here for a seminar in one of their meeting rooms and I couldn t understand why they would put a seminar on at a YMCA but once you re there you ll understand. Like I said this place is super nice
The facility is huge, beautiful and has even more than you could think of. When touring and since we've joined the staff my daughter's and I have been in contact with have been nice and welcoming. My 3 yr old enjoys the child watch when my 16 yr old and I work out or take a class.
Great facility, with tons of fitness classes for youth and adults. Their summer programming is a huge benefit to the community, as they offer lots of STEM education camps for kids. I love their cardio and strength center (weight room), the indoor running tracks, and the nearby bike trail, which links up to the larger little miami trail network. They also offer various scholarships and payment plans for month-to-month membership and for families.
Love it here. So much to do. So many great classes and great instructors. Great cafe' with healthy food options. Beautiful facility and so family friendly!
The Y is a wonderful place to hang out for the day. It is very family friendly with many activities to attend. The classes are wonderful. The only problem is the basketball courts. There are 6 courts at the Y, and all of them have games going on every single time. They need to reserve one court for shooting and doing drills only. Also, the court closest to the waterpark indoor is always made into a tennis court.
My family and I had a bad experience. Do not get a membership to the YMCA if you are expecting to be able to use your membership at all locations. This YMCA was extremely rude, employee Faith did everything in her power to not let us use our family membship at this y because it was not our home YMCA. This is supposed to be a Christian organization but we were not treated Christianity and our children were heartbroken that they were unable to play. Very snotty people I won't be returning.
Everything you could want from a YMCA. More exercise options than you can shake a stick at. Five indoor pools. Great staff great facility highly recommended
My daughter has been coming here to the homeschool choir and strings program for 5 years. Natasha Neal is one of a kind and I reccomend her hands down!!
One of the largest Y's in the state. Huge outdoor pool with promise of in closing it for winter use. And they have a few indoor pools as well. Clean workout facilities and locker rooms. They have great programs for those on a budget and are there to help.
This YMCA has been a Godsend for my family. It has helped me with my health tremendously, and there are so many fun things for my children to do to keep them both healthy and entertained.
