Large 7 floor hotel....fairly clean...good self parking......breakfast was minimal...(7 stories..bagle first come first serve..)..sheets were not soft...slight ichy......restroom noisy......lobby jammed up with people all over....Oh and C.I.S...is known for cookies for it's guests....well not here!
Paid 5 $ for the wifi. It kept disconnecting and was quite slow most of the time. Everything else was fine.
I got stuck in Newark airport overnight. United put me up here. The room was okay but not as nice or clean as a Hampton Inn or comparable. The staff was very friendly though.
Nice rooms but good luck trying to sleep outside of normal night hours.
pest problem. Unfriendly desk attendants. Parking fee is ridiculous. Never again. Marriot or extended stay, do yourself the favor.
Standard 3-star airport hotel, free breakfast, good wifi.
Complimentary and safe parking for gold members. Welcome gifts were much appreciated and useful. Room was upgraded to a great view on the top floor which wowed the kids for a long time. Marco at the front desk took great care for us with wonderful service, a friendly smile, genuine hospitality, and a very nice handwritten welcome card. We could also see the planes take off and land, which was a nice bonus. Having a sofa bed was nice so that my teenage son could have his own bed. Having two TVs is nice when you have kids, and it's nice that you can't hear the airplanes as they take off and land. I will definitely come stay here when my travels bring me back to the area.
Good experience with the hospitality offering from this property. I'll do the brand everytime I have it in my destination
Regular breakfast Price quality, too expensive. Pool not heated
Very friendly staff and nice rooms. I d recommend coming here!
The cleanliness of our room was excellent. The staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was alright. I really like how close this is to the mall, but walking around and exploring isn't much of an option.
Was checked in to an unserviced room. Had to wait for new room. To their credit they did upgrade. Breakfast was poor for the price. We were first in line for the shuttle to catch our flight in the morning. The hotel bumped us for a flight crew that showed up at the last minute. Did not send another shuttle so we MISSED OUR FLIGHT!
I love the hotel the staff very friendly and special housekeeping but one thing I don t liked the pool is freezing cold it should be heated pool thank you for service
Very friendly, very clean. And reasonable price. Considering the area. I came in from Michigan and stayed for a week. Loved it.
Lovely hotel and great staff. Breakfast was very tasty. Wonderful waitress!
Pls never you lodge in this hotel, smelly, old smelly carpet, rusted bath tub and ego centric rude staff.
I am here from 9th June my late brother birthday to 11th but i regretted choosing this hotel.
I was given an old smelly rusted room 517 queen size bed
I called front desk for a change
She tried to persuade me rudely to stay there whether i like it or not and not minding the effect of the smelling place. Infact she was not listening to my complain but telling me what she wants me to hear how she will send a house keeper to come clean it as if it will make the carpet clean and stain less and odourless .as if it will make the rusty dirty bathroom sparkling.
I insisted for a change, angrily she commanded me to come downstairs with all my stuff for a change of room, not offering me a room then i check if it i like i move my things
I did as madam commanded then she gave me a worst room.
A room with 2 full beds whereas i booked for a king size bed not 2 full bed
I called pls i prefer one bed and she rudely told me that's all she had.
I took my time to go round the hallway as house keeper is cleaning and realised many have checked out but she refused making my stay comfortable as if i am here for free.
This will be my last stay in anything country inn.
There hallway smells like an expired cheap dead incense.
Pls never book this hotel.
They do not care about your comfort and there staff really need some training .
I do not like the 304 room she gave me
Pls i prefer a clean non smelly room with clean carpet and non rusted bathroom.
Nobody likes to stay in a room the carpet is probably older than you with stains and still have to deal with' i don't care staff'.
No! That's too much.
I didn't want all that
Wanted quietness and serenity
I guessed i was wrong choosing this hotel.
Don't make the same mistake i made.
Run!!!!!!!!!!.
I decided to go downstairs again than speaking with them in phone
Then the front desk spoke to me nicely unlike how she did on phone and told me they do not have room with queen beds.
The old smelly one i left was the only room with such bed as they have not rennovated that room yet but all other rooms(renovated) they have is 2 beds in it.
I guess i had to deal with it at least she spoke to me nicely about it than on phone unless it wasn't same person who spoke to me on phone i saw When i went downstairs.
Pls all the website for hotel booking kindly take note the hotel does not have queen or king bed rooms unless if the lady lied to me
Recently remodeled. Lobby looks great!
Shuttle every half hour to the airport, 24 hours a day
The hotel lobby beautiful and the staff was so nice the room nice and clean and huge. I wiped the room down with my own cleaning supplies that I would regularly do but with COVID-19 extra careful. I stayed in the room the whole time I was there. The next time I m in Jersey I will be using the hotel I loved it so when your in Elizabeth, Newark even East Orange stay at this hotel
The rooms are fairly dated. One of the beds had some small red stains and lots of hair in it. Bathtub looks like it doesn't get cleaned as well as it should. Carpet had some spots like it wasn't cleaned well enough, they felt sticky.
Clean hotel, friendly staff. Park & Cruise package available for cruises departing from Bayonne. Continental breakfast included in the average.
Very disappointed I've booked rooms at different hotels online before and this is the only hotel that charges you an extra $20 per night for "parking" per car??? How crazy is that?? Thank God we only brought one car, They don't even explain that before you book it but they tell you that when you're in the hotel this is very deceiving and so not honest they charged me $42.66 extra for the 2 nights I stayed there and what I paid for the room per night wasn't so cheap either I'm very disappointed at this place they should be more honest to begin with!.
Definitely impressed. The hotel is perfectly located and interior design is beautiful. The staff was always friendly and efficient. Breakfast was great and lots to choose from. Including a nice spread of waffle station. 2 thumbs up..
It's a decent Country Inn. I received a 2-room suite. They are currently doing a renovation. Their lobby is the most modern I've seen at a Country Inn. Staff was okay. On clerk was nice. The other was ride. Now let's hit cost. Must be because we're near NYC, because it was over $200/night. That's just nuts for a CI&S. Maintenance could be better. Overall, I'd say it's an okay hotel.
Check in took over 20 minutes, as the unlisted policy is to take a photocopy of your CREDIT CARD and Driver's License, if your name is not on the reservation which is totally unacceptable, especially during a time that scams are on the arise. Thankfully I have means to move funds around. My concern is for other travelers who may arrive at their destination and face such unnecessary circumstances. The young lady Jennifer at the front desk copied my credit card without even informing me that she was going to do so, which is very unprofessional, not to mention her unpleasant attitude, an extreme lack of customer service....YOUR UNLISTED POLICY IS NOT SAFE FOR YOUR CONSUMERS!!!! THE ROOM IS 2 STARS. If it wasn't so late at night I would definitely check into another hotel. Not a good representation of a Radisson. The room reminds me of a Motel. I will definitely contact Corporate to share my experience.
The breakfast was not so good. The people who work at the counter at the entrance are ill-educated and do not know how to explain things well.
Hotel shuttle rules need to be clearified. Should be first come first serve or explain the rules when asking about the shuttle
We got our flight cancelled And they didn't give us even one meal in 24 hours
This hotel gets only 3 stars or even 3 stars because the rooms for American standards were good but everything else bad. It is really just an airport hotel. You should, if you arrive to have something to eat or have eaten, because there is nothing in the area there. Unfortunately I did not take pictures there, it was not worth it.
Nice place, helpful people, good complimentary breakfast, near to the airport and Jersey garden malls about 500 meters
Close to airport. Rubys, ihop, and local mall nearby for food. Rooms are standard with fridge and microwave.
Clean. Was a quick pick due flight cancellations. Good breakfast
Great service, great staff, special thanks to the housekeeping team for their wonderful job.
The receptionist are very friendly as well as cleaning service and it s a good hotel but the guy that is on the bar or food place is very rude!! He gave my parents a nasty look when they order pizza and the next day as I was going to get pizza again he hide the menu and I asked if they were close and he just ignore me and later looked down and said no ! Very disappointed on his behavior !
They stole my money this hotel is a scam please do not pay with a credit card !!!!
The rooms were nice and comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful especially after I had such a difficult travel day and flight cancelation. The food was not the best but I still enjoyed my stay
Its clean and quiet. Great water pressure for me its definitely worth it. They have a coffee shop/ bar. Smoking section that is outside and clean and comfortable. Great staff cc only which threw me off at first considering I made sure to bring cash. And couldn't even use it to pay for room. But it's all ok. Clean and worth it. Had to pay for parking. Really hard no choice.
It's a 2.5 star hotel rated as a 3. Bed was uncomfortable. Next to IHOP and a small shopping mall
Booked this hotel through Expedia. When we arrived at the hotel it was under construction which we were not made aware of at the time of booking. Got to room empty piece of furniture where the mini fridge I guess is supposed to be. The pool and hot tub was closed and the top reason we booked the hotel, 30 minutes from our destination, was for the pool and hot tub and the hours it was open. We fought with both Expedia and the hotel and it was a big hassle. I will never again use Expedia or stay at this chain again. Also TV channels are all staticy.
The room was clean but the bathroom needed a lot of work. Armed guard at the entrance makes you wonder.
Room looked like small apartment and was very comfortable!
Very clean airport stay, fast desk staff, that's where ill stay in Newark on stop overs.
We came as a group made reservations more then six months ago. At least half of our rooms aren't ready. We were told, it's not their problem it's ours. We just got into town from a long trip. Need to freshen up have tickets to a Broadway show tonight. That's our problem is what we were told at the desk at 3:30 after waiting about an hour. They have another party coming beside ours. At the same time we kept waiting and waiting about a dozen other customers were able to check in. To top it off our rooms are all over the hotel. It's not their problem, it's their job. After years of working in the hospitality industry including management I've never been treated like this or would dream of treating a customer this way. Even calling corporate we were told too bad. 0 rating is not available and too good a rating. Negative 5. Never again!!!
The saga continues....
Once we were finally given our room it still wasn't ready we had to wait in the hall for housekeeping to finish cleaning it. We had minutes to dump our bags and change. We had to make a mad dash for the city to get to the show, just made it in time. When we do get back to the room after the show. The closet door was broken almost kills you when you open it. It's raining and water is coming thru the ceiling of the room. Best of all the air conditioner is broken and the room is hot. If I hadn't come with a large group I would check out and never look back. I am waiting to hear from the manager and have our room changed.
The pictures are some of us getting ready in the lobby we had to get on a tour bus to get to the show and the other is the broken closet door.
The end of the matter is I never heard back from the manager. Nothing. There are so many other hotels in the area or just stay in NY. The company should be ashamed to imply that they are in the hospitality industry it's more like hostility! Don't waste your time or hard earned money!
Have got here unexpectedly, As my flight was delayed by 18(!)h, and it was a great experience.
Quick and friendly check in, nice big and clean room, and they even agreed for a late checkout.
Location-wise, the CI&S was fine for my needs, just a quick train ride away from NY. However, the place itself had a few problems, most notably some very cheap beds and some missing expected appliances in the room. Fortunately, the staff was friendly and accomodating, and the missing fridge was brought up and installed eventually, and while the bed was cheap, so was the bill. All in all it's a definite budget option, and you really do get exactly what you pay for.
Check in was quick. Was not informed before booking that I would have to pay for parking daily. Rooms were small but were clean, however, the day of check out we realized that the room we stayed in had bed bugs. Rooms were not worth the 175 per night.
Great value for money! 2 minutes walk to Jersey gardens mall. Other shops within a short drive. Next door IHOP!
Everything was perfect especially the breakfast that they are serving there was delicious and Healthy no junk. Also, the rooms was clean with a good customer services. We indeed really enjoy the indoor pool with
Pool Thanks
Great!
Attentive and helpful staff.
Have a nice breakfast.
Large, clean and well air-conditioned room.
Shower and bath with plenty of hot water.
Bed and bath linen always very clean.
Quiet, despite the proximity to the airport.
There is no one closer to Jersey Gardens.
I already studied there and I will certainly be back.
Friendly staff, free breakfast is a nice bonus. Close to the outlet mall.
I stay at this hotel often for business. The people here treat customers well and provide good service. My only complaint is that the wi-fi is non existant in many rooms. They need to update routers or servers or something! Wifi is a must these days and for a hotel to have poor wifi service is unacceptable.
Clean and neat. Nice lobby bar area. Pool OK. Lacks some organization in the front desk staff. Elevators need major work. Otherwise nice stay.
Happy New Year was made last December. It's important for you and me, I can not bother you with the graphics card of your order, thank you. So I tell you. I think was done last December. Minister, I
Hotel is fine staff especially the shuttlers very rude. Beds very comfortable and American standard breakfast
They have"remodeled " the room we are in, yet the shower head is lime covered and the drain .... Well you shower in your own filth. The beds may have new quilts, but are the original mattresses. The springs pop and clunk around when you sit down. Shame they aren't putting the money back in to the building.
The place is ok the breakfast was poor to be a Hilton hotel. Plus they did not have any water fountain at the reception.
Very good attention. Some room mobile needs replacement ...
Clean rooms and friendly staff. The Free WiFi is unusable and after 5 minutes of trying to run a speedtest, it finally loaded and ran a download test at 0.50mbps. They charge $5 for better wifi which is much faster but disconnects often and you need to log in repeatedly. I stay in about 12 hotels a month and this is by far the worst free Wifi that I have experienced in a hotel in the last 10 years. It wasn't a fluke either, as I stay here about 2 times a month and it is always unusable.
If it wasn't for the wifi, I would give it 5 stars for a business hotel that is close to the airport.
I originally gave this hotel a good rating but then I tired on the lights in the front section of my room. I quickly realized that the couch in my room looked like they found it on the side of the road... but the service and staff are great.
