Excellent cost benefit for short stays. In our case it was for one night only but it met all our needs of this day at an appropriate price. The reception and bar were totally renovated and it was very good. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. The hotel is on the side of the Jersey Garden Shopping center, we took advantage of it and did good shopping there. In summary everything very good

Clean, good breakfast, but shower head needs replacing. Water barely trickles down.

Great staff. Very welcoming. Renovations in the lobby were being attempted while guests moved about, making the lobby seem messy and chaotic. Great rooms, fair to poor wifi reception. Bar doubles as a mini-mart: smart move. Breakfast wad hot, but served on Styrofoam plates and plastic cups. Felt kinda cheap and wasteful. 3 out of 5

Disgusting dining room, dirty, unsupplied, no crockery only plastic of the worst quality and without food. The staff is dedicated to laughing at the customers in Spanish believing that nobody understands. Big mistake, there are many bilingual people. The gray color of the room is horrible. I do not recommend it at all.

Surprisingly good for the price. Rooms and bathrooms were pretty well-renovated. Did not however like the "restaurant" on the first floor. More of a bar/snack lounge with some menu items.

Stuck here thanks to United and it was absolutely as bad as we expected. The beds were hard, the tub was stained, the bedding torn, and the lighting dim. The employees were very kind and the breakfast was decent. I am sure 80% of their business is the result of United Airlines poor customer service here you go coupons.

Shower was cold. The stay was paid for by United Airlines because of a flight cancellation due to aircraft maintenance. Then, they took both my meal vouchers, worth 10 dollars each. I wanted them back, but they wouldn't give them to me, saying that they were "for their records". It's clear that they just wanted to pocket the extra 20 dollars from the meal vouchers provided by the airline. In any case, refuse to hand over your meal vouchers to the front lobby!

A fairly nice airport hotel. The Raddison chain is fairly standard, so you know what you will find here. We were up on the 6th floor on the south side and the airplanes were taking off almost directly overhead, yet we heard very little in our room. Good job!

Very good hotel with direct access to Newark Airport and the Jersey Garden Outlet Mall.300 meters. Newly renovated. We always take the hotel when we are in New York.

Very disappointing!!! 18.00 a day for parking really!!!! Am paying for the freaking room parking should be included. I will not be coming back!!!

It's basic for what you need. Containers in the backyard does not make for a charming atmosphere.

It is our first time to try Country Inn and comparing with Embassy Suites, I can rate their rooms & services quite similar. The only difference was their free breakfast, wherein Embassy Suites have more to choose from but not by much.

STAFFS r useless, un professional ,has lots of egos and attitude towards guests, THEY r not worth to be in "RHG", I guess not to go there

The room was not very clean. The vacuuming was not very thorough and food debris hadn't been dusted off shelves. The available toilet paper upon check-in consisted of 2 mostly used rolls. The air conditioner was not able to be adjusted, so we woke up sweaty without fresh air through the night. On our second trip carrying in our luggage the room door jammed and we had to wait for the maintenance man to let us in our room. We used the common clothes dryer, which also jammed when inserting quarters. (Maintenance man to the rescue) BTW someone left their old stained underwear there. TV remote only worked when we found one exact spot to hold it in the air. Breakfast was crowded and somewhat lacking in variety. We had to drive out to the nearest gas station one night... Scary! Other than these points, we did deal with some friendly staff, the mattress was comfortable, I liked the bathroom sink/vanity. A nice hotel in some ways.

I just was there by one night, but does not have restaurant and employees in looby need improve his hospitality.

MANY reasons why NOT 2 stay here! 1) Hotel being renovated & while floors are being torn apart (ex. Wallpaper falling off walls & patches all over hallway = CLEARLY a construction site), guests are being assigned those rooms. 2) Old rooms feel like an ugly Motel 6. 3) Several hotel patrons were CLEARLY under the influence of "something" and bring the impression of everything that goes along with that lifestyle. 4) Overall feeling of being unsafe.
Such a strangely unpleasant experience when the Embassy Suites across the driveway is like night and day! Embassy Suites is a beautiful establishment with beautiful rooms and respectable customers.

It's ok not to bad. I wish they did vegan breakfast. And also its lacking tourist information vouchers for Attractions and also maybe shuttle to New York.They have swimming pool and jacuzzi. They have shuttle frm liberty Newark airport to the hotel which is gud. Otherwise its gud.

You will live. It's not great but there's nothing particularly terrible.

Hopefully when checking out let the two ladies at the reception be more accommodating to senior citizens who obviously need to be assisted

Clean rooms. Free breakfast. Only thing was they dont let you have an extended check out. Other than that i would definately go again.

The Country Inn & Suites Newark was recently remodeled (certain sections are still being worked on), but it's becoming a very nice hotel. Nice rooms and easy access to he airport.

The room was fairly clean. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom is the largest one I have been in hotel

We had a great experience here. The staff at the front desk were great, especially Jack. He was super helpful and went above and beyond for us. I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were immaculate and we loved the view of the NYC skyline. This hotel is close to everything (trains, airport, shopping, restaurants, etc). I would highly recommend this hotel! Will definitely come back.

The bath was filthy and instead of receiving 2 king beds we got a bed with sofa

Renovation looks nice. Walls are still paper thin you can hear everything. But the place looks a lot nicer than it did before. Restaurant and mall nearby. Not a bad Location for a quick stay.

It was a great stay. My room was very clean and the bed & pillows were extremely comfortable.. In addition, the shopping mall is within 5 min walking distance.. i had a great time in Jersey.. i definitely recommend the Country Inn..

I did not like my stay at all, 3 nights in the hotel and they didn't clean my room, bo fresh ckean towels, customer service not plasent, breakfast included but very very poor, parking surprise fee charge and as for hotel guest is too much, never stay there again.

Nice hotel, clean and most importantly very close to Newark Airport. The young man at the reception desk last night was very unpleasant, but the shift manager was accommodating.
Breakfast is very basic, nothing lavish, but it's complementary so complain there, but surely not awesome as the hotel claim.
The transfer shuttle from and to the airport is good, but mine going back to the airport left about 12 min late. So plan accordingly. I gave it 1 star less than intended because of the rude young customer service rep.

Had to stay overnight sure to delayed flight. Lovely hotel. Sheets were fab. Hotel shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Don't trust the recommendation to order in from Primos Pizza. It was lousy and took two hours to arrive.

Location was good and very nice to have a huge mall across the street. They were very kind to upgrade or room. However the TV cable continued cut in and out, mostly out. And the pillows are horrible and flat. I was willing to deal with the renovations. But after a long day sometimes you just want to veg comfortably.

Counter staff threw the room card to me without any introduction like breakfast, checkout time and so on. Sheets looked so messy as it wasn t be changed. Room is very poorly soundproofed

The shuttle service is really bad and drivers are rude. One driver told us another shuttle would come in 10 minutes, but all the people waited for more than another hour and no bus came. Rooms are ok, but service is just terrible.

Our AC was broken but the shower was warm. Also the breakfast was too.

The hotel itself was great and the staff at the hotel were incredible but the issues with the hotel's shuttle services have been outrageous. If you don't need to utilize the shuttle services, you may enjoy this place. My first time staying with this hotel was about two weeks ago and the shuttle driver took FOREVER to show up. After multiple calls to the hotel and close to an hour of waiting, the shuttle driver finally came and made me feel like I was disturbing him. He didn't speak during the entire ride to the hotel and did not put my bags on the shuttle for me or help get them off. I stayed again recently and checked out this morning. The shuttle driver on 9/16/20 on the 4:05am run to the airport was rude beyond belief! When exiting the shuttle at the airport, the driver removed my bags for me. I appreciated her for doing that especially since the first driver did not attempt to do it at all so I said thank you as I started to fiddle with my luggage. I had a mask on as I was just in the shuttle and I was about to enter the airport so it's very possible that she may not have heard me HOWEVER what happened next was not only unprofessional but it will cause me to not use this hotel anymore and to also advise others to avoid it as well. The driver didn't hear me say thank you so she jerked down in my face and said "you're welcome!" very loudly and rudely. I stepped back thinking that she was having an off morning. She was nice to the next passenger which was a flight attendant that she seemed to have established rapport with over time. She began to speak very poorly of me and complain to the other passenger about me. I asked "Was there a problem with me telling you thank you?" The driver insisted that I had not said thank you and became argumentative and very disrespectful. After the rude outburst, the flight attendant came over and suggested that the driver may not have heard me due to my mask and that I should just let it roll off. I said thank you to the driver but in my opinion, whether I said thank you or not is not the real issue. The real issue is that she was very disrespectful and did not seem to know much about customer service. You should never shout at a customer for not saying thank you, it's just bad business. I called the manager on duty this morning and the manager said that she was informed that the argument occurred because I was not wearing a mask. I informed the manager that was either another customer that she had an argument with as well or that she flat out lied because she knew that I would complain; the mask is the only reason that she did not hear me say thank you in the first place. The individuals that drive the shuttle could really benefit from a courtesy and customer service training. It's really unfortunate because I travel for business often and would have liked to have used this property as my go to when in New Jersey; I will look elsewhere and I suggest that you do the same.

It was a nightmare, United Airlines put me up at this hotel Because they canceled a flight. The hotel also has welfare recipients saying it it was noisy the room was not up to par, And they should have never put airline customers into this hotel.

Room and bathroom are spacious however there is no ventilation in the room or bathroom

Terrible experience dealing with this hotel. Called to cancel before the stay because there was an unforeseen flight delay preventing the arrival for a day, but they refused to refund the money. No service was provided.

Front desk is awsome. Rooms are old and ned upgrades. We lost our upgrade to the new suite, so dont depend on reservations to be trusted.

Good afternoon I made a reservation to stay at the hotel some of the people who have already stayed at the hotel could tell me if the pool service is included in the cost of the room or if you have to pay separately

Staff was very nice and courteous. Pool was cold not heated as described. Person came to clean pool and hot tub while we were in them. Breakfast was decent not a big variety but good. Rooms are very small but decent. The carpet was awfully dirty. The bathroom needs to be updated.

Pillows were horribly uncomfortable, indoor pool was freezing, and the shower was full of hair. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Alright price/amenities but very poor service. After landing at the airport past 1:30AM and waiting over 50 minutes for the shuttle I'm very disappointed in the level of service. We called multiple times to find out if and when the shuttle would arrive and received very poor customer service from the help desk. If you're taking a shuttle to your hotel there are many better options in the area.

Not my favorite hotel. Some rooms are renovated. But mine last night on the second floor was not. The room wasn't ver clean. The breakfast is terrible. The only thing good about this hotel is the proximity to the mall and few surrounding restaraunts.

United Airlines put us up there after missing our connection. Airline shuttle runs every half hour both ways. Suites were spacious and well maintained. Bar and sandwiches in lobby. Ruby Tuesday next door.

Comfortable hotel with breakfast included and the outlet side. It is a good hotel for those who are going to leave but first wants a few days to do some shopping.

We had a very POOR experience at this hotel :( The breakfast was hugely disappointing. The key cards were erased 2/4 nights and we had to go back downstairs to "re-code" our cards. One of the room's had a large red stain in the tub that looked like rust or dried blood, very disgusting. They f kept messing up the wake-Up calls, ringing us 40 mins early one of the days (5:50 a.m instead of 6:30) Very maddening!
The desk staff were not very friendly. And our rooms had been entered even when we didn't put out the 'clean the Room' sign, and one day the door was left unlocked completely (which was very unsettling). The safe's were not in working order, so we didn't have any secure place for valuables or passports.... On a positive note, we didn't hear the airplanes (even though we were in very close proximity to the airport) However, I definitely would Never stay at this hotel again.

It was nice and clean. But make sure when you see the price, add 30% tax over it which they don't show. There are 5-6 kind of taxes they levy.

We didn't stay there because they were over booked and had to place us in their sister hotel. They provided free shuttle service through out the ordeal from hotel to airport

Nice hotel. Amenities and staff are great. Rooms come with breakfast. Breakfast is pretty basic but good. Stayed one night and it was well worth it. Also got free parking at the front of the building which was more convenient than the parking behind the building.
