Great restaurant! Great food! The salmon is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any dish. Plus their charity work is a pillar of the community!

Been coming to CH for a longtime. Never disappointed.

Country House is the best food I've had in a very long time! My waitress was awesome and very sweet. Asked her what was good and boy oh boy she was not wrong. Everything she said to try was amazing! For sure will come again!

Extensive menu with fresh, flavorful food. Staff is very nice.

The Big Yiorgos is the best salad ever invented. Hands down, end of story. We're in business!

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Big variety, you can get several different sides with sandwiches.instead of just fries.

Nice, clean and comfortable food escape tucked behind the brush, trees and shrubs off a busy street. Very friendly and competent service with a great menu and good prices make this a favourite of ours for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will not be disappointed whatever meal you are hungry for.

Food was very good, prices reasonable. Staff okay. Seemed a little cold at first but became friendlier after a while. Could have just been a long day for them. I had a cheeseburger and Fries. Cheeseburger was awesome. The fries a bit of a let down but overall good experience.

Went for dinner last night with my wife, 2 year old and baby. The staff were amazing and accommodating. My 9 month old was fussing and the server brought over a banana all cut up for him to chew on. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean and orderly. We both had salads that we loved. My son had Mickey Mouse, chocolate chip pancakes and turkey sausage. He ate every bite.

Tried this spot before with my friend and I am hooked ever since. I loved the fantastic atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. Fantastic work.

My family & I have been coming here for a couple years & lately the atmosphere is just not welcoming. Let's start with parking. The parking lines are so faint that people are parking in 2 spots, walking in, the hostesses are not friendly. How many? Breakfast or lunch? Than we're seated & they walk away. No enjoy ur breakfast or lunch, is this seat ok? Than today, we were seated at a booth that was totally on a slant. The food is wonderful. Only had 3 bad experiences. Just needs a lot more TLC. Would like to have given it 5 stars but these are my reasons I did not.

Food list the flavor it used to have. Stuffed French toast was bland.... How does that happen? Should be sweet.... Shouldn't it? Or maybe I just remember the place differently now I'm older, but the staff is definitely the reason to come back. They are ALL great! Thanks guys!

The food is a mixture of comfort and originality, everything I've ever had here is fantastic! There are many meals that are familiar to home cooked comfort foods, but they added their own fantastic twists to them! Absolutely love this restaurant, very family oriented.. I recommend it to everyone looking for a classic family restaurant!

The country house is a great location for home style cooking. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Fast friendly staff , good prices. For a good reasonable priced meal, try country house.

Polite ~ Clean ~ Meals reasonably priced ~ I have enjoyed few different dishes. I just LOVE the Hawaiian salad... with Bananas, Strawberries, Pineapples, Cheeses, lunch meats & more. Topped with a delicious Sweet/Sour dressing.

Food is delicious,the staff are awesome. My son loves the home made soup nd pizza. Can't beat pizza deal on Wednesday....

Food is excellent, but $$. During the week there is no wait. Depending on when you arrive on Sundays, there may be a short wait. Just remember, the food is well worth waiting for. Enjoy your meal!

Old school restaurant still making great food. My breakfast is always on point here and the service is top notch.

This review is related to food service in IJP school, Flossmoor by country house kitchen. The lunch they serve in IJP for kids is unreasonably pricey . This kitchen company doesn't communicate properly and very poor in accounting. We decided not to purchase lunch from them anymore..

This was a great find! We were coming from the flea market an wanted to go the breakfast, but we had lunch instead the burger and homemade onion ring were awesome, the burgers are homemade patties not frozen. Our waitress was friendly, helpful with suggestions from the menu. I would recommend giving Country House a try

Good food but service is hit or miss the host told my family they could get the lunch special even tho it was just after the time frame (half off) but when they finished their meal they waited for almost an hour noone ever came to bill them out so they went and asked id they were forgotten about and the ppl said the lady who told them yes to special price left cuz her shift ended and tough luck pay full price. Also overcharged for a side dish because we ordered a salad but said only id not made with romaine because my unlce doesnt like romaine waitress said its iceburg so when it came he would not eat it and got fries instead so that shuld have been his side dish that came with meal but they charged for hoth even tho the salad was lied about and sent back. Hit or miss with service . Hit or miss with food. Overall it is ok

Food was great. I had vegetarian pasta. Although it is as supposed to be penne it wasn't, but none the less fantastic.

This restaurant has really great food, friendly workers and many food selections to choose from. This place was beautiful and amazing.

Best Cream of cabbage soup, ever! and Cream of spinach, as well....not too salty, not too thick, as some cream soups can be....wish they offered them more times a week! And last week they had lobster bisque which was the best I've ever had! Big pieces of lobster, too! Wish they made these more often...

Wonderful! First time ever eating there and everything was wonderful!! Our server went above and beyond normal service. Probably best server experience that I've had in a long time. Didn't get her name, but she had an accent. Maybe Polish? Food was great with a exceptional variety. Can't wait to go again.

The staff is amazing. Very family friendly but not dated. A cute breakfast place but perfect for lunch. Very good variety, I mean to say there is definitely something for everyone, And They also do them well. I went with a party of 7 and all of our dishes were phenomenal. Would definitely go again.
