Ideal for restless children and teenagers.

Ideal for restless children and teenagers.
It is recommended to book the shows (toca-toca and planetarium).
It is also recommended to organize and stop to read and explain to children the phenomena.

Ideal for rainy days as a family!

They kicked out a mum for breastfeeding her baby in a conference?!? What's more science than mother'a milk. Your behaviour is embarrassing, we will never visit this place again

As someone who has visited the London Science muse...

As someone who has visited the London Science museum often I must say that my expectations were (I thought) high. It is pretty clear soon after walking in that this was no ordinary science museum, and that my standards have been adjusted to new highs.

Set over 7 or more floors, you enter at the top (the present day) and walk (or get the lift) down through the ages, all the way back to a time when all that existed were the fundamentals of physics, and little else.
Everything is interactive, so to demonstrate centrifugal force is a sit-in experiment. To demonstrate the speed of sound is a shouting through tubes experiment (hear your own voice come back through tubes you can see suspended above you, hundreds of meters long, a couple of seconds after delivering a scream), I could go on, but there are too many to mention here.

My son, largely bored by the London Science museum (too many people, exhibits often shut, buttons don't work) spent 3 hours bouncing from activity to experiment without any need for me to encourage him (gone was the need for my verbal encouragements to keep him moving, like "why don't we see the... Or the...."). I had trouble keeping up, especially when I was being distracted by beautiful or interesting exhibits. We found only 2 out of order exhibits, and both were surrounded by other working ones ready to be used, so no biggie.

Three hours later, after only managing to see the bottom floor, we went for a bite to eat. Exhausted.

If it sounds like I am doing a sales job here it is because I genuinely think it is one of the very best family attractions in Barcelona, and somehow educational to boot!

Children from 5-6 years to 14-15 years enjoy a much easier way of understanding the world, its evolution, and the findings of science. It is also a joy for an adult to rediscover the mysteries of this world ...

It is very good for children, since they can touch everything and it is very visual. There are workshops that require prior reservation.
The only downside is that we have done more than 20 min of queue to catch the tickets.

To spend a few hours with the child it is good to have a good time. If you have an account in the caixa you do not pay entry you pass the card. When we went it was a weekday and the 3D room was closed.

I love!!! Ideal to go with children, and without them. The great possibility of experiencing makes you transport yourself to your childhood and do not stop playing all the experiments. Great the Amazon area, besides the planetarium and the different exhibitions that are changing.

This was an awesome day out with my little one whilst visiting barcelona and provided something a bit out of the ordinary bug equally fun and interesting. We loved it, spend the day and take food as the cafeteria options are weak and pricey.

The Barcelona Science Museum is a great place to go with children, as it offers very interesting guided activities for children of different ages and interests, and you can also simply browse and interact with all the devices in the main room. To go to the guided activities you need to book, as most of the time they are full. There is parking below the museum, and there is a discount on admission.

Beautiful place, beautiful interior patio where we could enjoy live music and cinema. There is a small bar inside where everything is expensive and of poor quality, but to drink something or a piece of cake is not bad.

A place for children but that can also be enjoyed by adults. Free for La Caixa customers and for those who are not, a fairly reasonable price. The CosmoCaixa will always be a good weekend option to spend a good day with the kids at home.

It is an interesting museum. It might seem like it's for children, but I think it's actually for older people. Young children get a little bored. The site is surprising for the experiments and for the aquarium it has. It is different and it has its thing to go see it, although it is a bit too vertical too tired. When I was a second time they had a really cool dinosaur exhibit.

Excellent place to visit, there are thousands of things on display and everything is explained very well, there are exhibitions of all areas. There is also a small shop where they sell many new and interesting things.
They have a place for lunch, very rich food, free fork, they have very rich salads. The bad thing about the site is that there is a lot of noise and the guards don't do or say anything. An interactive museum with a lot of noise. For everything else, great. Easy access with buses and metro. Essential place to visit.

We really like this museum, we have gone this week and it is again super careful, with new exhibitions, the information very well explained and collected, and we have loved it. I never get tired of coming to this site and you always have something new to learn.

Very nice surprise this museum. It is organized in several levels with activities for children. The day of our visit, there was a temporary exhibition with the skeleton of a T-Rex, impressive. The visit was varied, between exhibitions, crossing in a tropical environment with aquarium and animals of course without counting the little games on the laws of physics.

Interesting science museum, where you can interact with innumerable experiments and understand the physical principles. The problem is perhaps that many parents believe that it is a park of attractions and do not exercise control over the children.

A place where science comes to life and children love being able to touch.
The activities (almost all, I recommend it) at which we went have to be booked in advance on the web.

They also love "el bosc inundat" and the big fish tank can be seen!

The activities are half price if you are from la caixa and the free tickets.

Every quarter they canvian exhibitions and some are always on.
