I was a a patient for over 20 years and was treated so kindly until I had a problem paying a bill and I was treated like trash! I had a $400 tagged onto my bill for nonpayment! These people claim to be religious, don t let that fool you! They will lie to you and tell you that you need procedures that you don t need! SCAM!
Several years ago I had a crown put on my front tooth. The color, shape and details of the tooth are so perfectly natural that no one noticed that it was a crown. Well, a few weeks ago, I broke that crown and I didn't want to go around town with a broken and unsightly tooth. Dr. Williams graciously accommodated my dental emergency and got me in to get it repaired right away. He, Sonya and Pearson handled my case with gentleness, professionalism and precision. I could not be more pleased.
Dr. Griffin is the most knowledgeable dentist and friendliest dentist I have come into contact with. I highly reccomend him for anybody or any family.

Dr. Stroud and his professional team are highly capable and I would recommend them to anyone near Knoxville. I was thoroughly impressed with the care and quality of recommendations that he made during my visit. I asked a million questions and he always had several good answers from differing viewpoints.
I was concerned about visiting a dentist because I did not have the means to pay for it, but I called Cornerstone anyway and scheduled an appointment. I decided to purchase a membership for $50, which covered a cleaning and exam. I was pleased to learn that I could cancel the membership at any point without being penalized. Very warm, friendly staff. Comfortable waiting room (big, comfy chairs, cookies, and coffee). I highly recommend Cornerstone.

Let me start by saying I ve always hated the dentist, especially after a particularly traumatic experience in 4th grade. Since then, I d gone to one dental appointment and was treated poorly, so I never tried again. I ve always had poor teeth on the top front and in the back. I used OTC filling repair to make them somewhat presentable, but was always ashamed of my teeth and tried every way to avoid having them seen. I went for my first visit and was immediately impressed with the staff and how kind everyone was. We made an appointment for sedation to do a debridment and extract some teeth. Everything went smoothly. A week later, I went to have my temporary crowns put on and was comfortable enough to have lidocaine shots and the work done without sedation. I still have a few weeks to go before the major work is done, but I am so amazed at this office and their treatment of patients. I never felt ashamed of letting them see and work on my teeth and was comfortable the whole time. Dr. Griffin and Nicole are great!

I had a real problem and this did caused me a lot of stress. I needed to change from my original dentist. I had just came out of a very stress time
taking care of my husband for the last 6 months of his life. He didn't want to see Drs or hosiital, so he lost the ability to walk downstairs at this point and the task 3 months where unreal I think I was running on just helping Michael with needs. We only new from METLIFE sending a
nurse to do a physical at our home. His results were hi PSA case. Didn't want any help. I had no help from his family at all. I checked Michael into
Fort Sanders 5 days before his death. I put myself last on the list, so I
new I had dental issues, but I was dealing with losing my partner.
Everyone was so kind to me and I was so great full.
So one year later I still need a lot of emotional help to make it threw
this time in my life.
My sister Juantia Russo referred me to Cornerstone Dentals Arts, I called
her when I finally got my crown implanted and thanked her. She said call
her again if I need help.
I still want to continue w/my dental care, but I have to work within my

I absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing and Dr. Stroud is an excellent dentist. I struggled with severe anxiety because of bad dental experiences as a young child. Dr Stroud and his team have done an outstanding job at reducing my anxiety. I used to have to medicate to do a simple cleaning and now I no loner need to take anything.

Our family began with Dr. Morgan in 1978 before he founded Cornerstone. There are many reasons we have remained with the practice, first of all being the excellent skills and caring dedication to the well-being of those under their care. We currently see Dr. Stroud and his staff and value the holistic approach to health delivered with conscientiousness and care.
It's hard to say, "I enjoy going to the dentist," but this office takes the edge way off the inevitable (emotional and physical) discomfort usually associated with dental visits. Beth (hygienist) and Dr. Stroud always relieve any anxiety I may have when I come in, and I always leave feeling relieved and relaxed. I never have to wait for my appointment time and am always made to feel welcome on arrival. The ladies at check-out are always sweet and helpful in explaining charges and scheduling follow-up appointments. They all manage to balance professionalism and warmth just right.
Dr. Stroud and his team are hands down the BEST in Knoxville. They are always friendly and I genuinely enjoy every visit to their office!
This is a very well organized, patient friendly, professional practice. Dr. Stroud fitted me with a dental appliance to help correct my longstanding snoring/sleep apnea problem. He is clearly an expert in this area. His comprehensive program from evaluation, device preparation, and extended follow up care is, I believe, designed for success.
Sleep apnea has been a problem that I could not solve with the commonly prescribed CPAP device. I have allergy issues that caused me to fail that regimen. My only CPAP option was to try a full face device. I thought I would not be able to tolerate that, and there were no guarantees that the allergy issues might not still be a problem. The well fitted dental device, which allows me to breath through my nose and/or mouth, has been quite comfortable from day one - kind of like a more robust invisalign set, and I think it may also provide protection against damage from tooth grinding.
Though the dental appliance is not guaranteed to correct snoring/sleep apnea, my snoring has been completely eliminated - and this continues from the first night I used the device several weeks ago. I believe the sleep apnea has also abated, though I have not yet been tested to ensure that is the case. I feel it has been as I sleep undisturbed and wake refreshed. During the follow up program, which extends for several months, a test for the apnea will be administered to confirm whether or not that has occurred.
Dr. Griffin and the entire staff at Cornerstone are amazing. I had a major procedure done, and I was quite anxious about it. They made me feel like family the entire time; before, during, and after my procedure. I would HIGHLY recommend Cornerstone to ANYONE who is considering making a visit to a dentist office! They are hands down the best.

I called to get an appointment at 8:03am on a Monday morning. I was told that they had one at 12pm but that they would pass my information on to Lacy and she would call me back because they hadn t logged in to their computer yet. At 8:30 am they still hadn t called so I called back to find out she was to lazy to call me back and had filled that slot in the last fifteen minutes. She then tried to schedule me for Wednesday while my tooth is throbbing. First come first serve dentist all about the money! Don t go there. Find someone local you trust!
I have loved being a patient at Cornerstone Dental Arts. Every staff member is extremely kind and caring. I never really wanted to go to the dentist prior to coming here, but I ve had no issues here at all. Everyone is knowledgeable, patient, and best of all I don t get some sort of lecture every time I m in the chair. After a year of fears and uncertainties, I finally took the first step towards getting some intensive dental work done. 15 years of a drug addiction really done a number on my teeth and within the last 13 years of my sobriety, I 've done the daily maintenance to continue having this "Rembrandt Smile;" flossing, cleaning, brushing, whitening etc... However, behind and under this smile are a lot of issues and I guess that's ironic for a lot of things. About 1.5 months ago I had an updated consult with Dr. Griffin and his staff and they created me a detailed and robust treatment plan to move forward with placing them implants in the back of mouth. Get this, by a robot. I went in ready, peaceful and prayed-up,. Jody along with his team; Destiny, Taylor, Carol and Hesse were amazing. Keep this in mind, I have never had surgery or been under sedation. I got really scared after they began the prep work due to feeling as though I could not swallow. However, one of the ladies rubbed my on my back and said, "We'll take care of you and it's going to be okay!" That made me feel really safe!!! The base was placed for the implant, I was given stitched and I did not feel anything or remember any of it. I only took Advil because they know my history of a Substance Abuse Disorder. I just want to say to Dr. Griffin, Cornerstone Dental Arts and the staff for a job well done. I highly recommend their services.

Cornerstone is by far the BEST dental office in Knoxville!! All of the doctors are wonderful but Dr. Kimrey is who I see. He is very gentle and patient and wants to make sure you are happy, you're teeth are healthy and you achieve your dental goals. He really takes the time to listen and understand what you want. Never have I ever felt any pain with him, not even the injection. Highly highly recommend!!!

I have never seen or heard anything from them that wasn t professional. Our comfort and care has always came first with them. From bad to worse - I choose cornerstone on the recommendation of Hallerin Hilton Hill, went for a consultation to review my x rays and what needed to be done. waited for over an hour to see Jo Griffin, ok I can get over that, being held up with a customer - he gave me all the options and seemed good. From then on it was a slippery slope, the receptionist and administrators were incompetent and rude dealing with my questions and insurance quote, Never bothering to get back to me when they said on several occasions, then after deciding what I wanted and getting enough courage to make the appointment, having my husband take the day off work to take me and almost arriving at Knoxville for the appointment, they called and cancelled it, saying they didn't think they could pull a tooth after reviewing the x ray . . . . . which had already been reviewed at the previous consult.
Then to add insult to injury sent a $25 cracker barrel card to appease me so I wouldn't write a bad review . . . . really
I would not recommend using these over priced snobs who decided all on their own that I didn't have enough money to pay them because I asked for an insurance pre payment quote
I had what I believed to be a problem with an implanted denture and called Cornerstone straight from the phone book. I was so delighted to walk into a very nice office with extremely nice staff. I doubt that this practice can be topped by any other office in Knoxville! And yes I am going back!
Every single employee at Cornerstone Dental Arts is professional, friendly, honest and the best at what they do. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my dental care. I always feel extremely comfortable and cared for at any appointment. It's wonderful having many doctors on staff in case of a dental emergency. They also have a lab on site that makes crowns right there. I would highly recommend Cornerstone to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stroud's for around 9 years. He has been very attentive to my difficult teeth. They usually always run on time, and my cleanings are not overly burdensome. The office staff is nice, and they do a great job dealing with insurance.
For my wife and I, our regularly scheduled appointment with a dentist had always been one that we rescheduled at least two or three times. We disliked going to the dentist so much that we would do anything we could to find something that was more important than getting our teeth cleaned. Based on the recommendation of a close friend we chose Cornerstone Dental Arts, and our expectations for what going to the dentist is supposed to be like have forever changed. Not only did Dr. Stroud and our hygienists, Mandy & Jennifer, give us the most comprehensive exam we have ever had, we actually found ourselves laughing and having fun while we were there. It was evident how much pride they take in their work and how much they genuinely care about their patients on a personal level.
I have just recently started going to cornerstone dental arts and I see Dr.Kimrey. I have a lot of dental issues and I am very self conscious about my issues. All the staff have been amazing at making me feel comfortable with my care. I am at the beginning of this transformation and can not wait to see the end result. In the past I have had dentist who did not explain or fully listen to me and that is definitely not the case with Dr. Kimrey!!!
It s been a long time since I needed a new dentist. I chose Cornerstone and my experience has been fantastic. Today I had 2 old filings replaced, and it was fast easy and painless. They used a laser system I d never seen before, and it was all done without shots, and numbing, and there was no pain!! Great experience, I was out of the chair in 30 minutes with no lasting effect.

I HATE going to the dentist, in fact that might be an understatement. Going to the dentist is like a perfect storm of all the things that I can't stand all rolled into one. Cornerstone has literally saved my teeth. I went more than a decade without going to the dentist, and finally got up the guts to go to them four years ago. Dr. Griffin was able to use IV sedation to complete multiple filings and a cleaning in one visit. Recently I saw Dr. Williams for a root canal and crown. Again I was able to be sedated with an IV and I don't remember a thing. And a bonus I had no pain after the work was complete. We all hear horrible things about root canals, but this was a breeze. I have to give shouts to Dr. Williams and his team, as according to my husband I was a bit of a crazy person when they had me sedated, but they handled it with a smile (and probably a laugh, if what my husband says is even close to accurate). The staff is great. If you are like me and the dentist chair inspires fears and tears, call Cornerstone. I highly recommend them.
I have been going to Cornerstone since I was a child and they have always stayed consistently the same in service. They always make my experience so welcoming and timely. I have never once dreaded my dentist appointment and I have Dr. Williams and his team to thank for that. Thank you for creating a space for us to come and have not only dental work done successfully but have meaningful conversation. I love to recommend Dr. Williams and the Cornerstone team to my friends and family. I finally got my husband to come to Dr. Williams and he says he will never go anywhere else. He calls it the "Four Seasons" of Knoxville Dentistry.

I'm one of those people who always dreaded going to the dentist but Dr. Stroud and all the folks at Cornerstone are fantastic!
They clearly know what they are doing and are very up-to-date with all modern dentistry methods and equipment.
I know they care as they have been willing to see me before hours, after hours and even one weekend when Dr. Stroud was on vacation. His wife may not have appreciated that but I certainly did!

Not only are they warm and welcoming, but they are also patient and understanding when you are nervous or apprehensive at all. I have never had a more thorough exam than the one I got when I came here for my very first visit, and they presented all my options, including which steps were priority and why. I have complete confidence in them, and I have never in my life been able to say that about any dental office before. I am very thankful that I found Cornerstone Dental. If you're looking for a change, this is the place you want to go. I only wish I had found them years ago. I can confidently say they will be my dental office for the rest of my days!
The absolute best dental care I've ever had. Everyone is very professional and friendly. My first visit was due to a toothache and they had me fixed up and out of pain in no time. Would highly recommend to everyone, Hands down the best around.

I have always been a big coward when it comes to going to the dentist. As a young child I had some very unpleasant experiences. I heard about their pain free dental on the radio so my husband and I wanted to give them a try. I love them from the receptionist to the dental hygienists to Dr. Kimrey. We even referred our youngest son and his wife. I recommend them to everyone when they ask about a dentist!! They are the best!!!!

I started going to the professionals at Cornerstone Dental Arts in 2003 because I wanted cosmetic dentistry done and wanted it done by the best. I have been going to the group ever since, and have never been disappointed in the care I have received or the work I've had done. Everyone in Cornerstone Dental are highly trained and delightful to be around. Dr. Stroud and his group are great. I have been seeing him for many years without a single complaint.

Too much to say - I am a horribly anxious person in a dentist's office. I have that ridiculous "fear" that I am out of control in the chair, can't breathe right, get all panicky - and let me tell you, these doctors and their gentle staff changed my whole outlook on visiting the dentist. I hadn't seen one in years, totally afraid, and finally made my way to several Knoxville dentists. I never went back to any of them until I found the Cornerstone staff - not only friendly, comforting, caring and actually READ my sheet (where I explained I hate the dentist because it terrifies me) but they then made sure I had every comfort. There was no judging, no lecturing, nothing but care and understanding. I am not afraid any more to call when I have issues. In fact, I dont' DREAD it any longer! Great people. Have been a patient for almost 10 years. Haven t hesitated to refer countless friends and family members. The office is incredibly convenient to access, a very comfortable environment, and the staff are very professional and friendly. Hands down best dental office in Knoxville!!!
Today I had 3 root canals done (all three were emergent due to a pre-existing heart condition). I had been to a previous dentist in Knoxville and had a horrific experience, so on a recommendation, I contacted Dr. Stroud when I was in extreme pain and clearly had an infection. He kindly rushed me in despite me being a new patient. Then, he referred me to Dr. Williams who ended up doing the three root canals in one day. The kindness by the staff, esp Dr. Williams will never be forgotten. From explaining the procedures and reviewing each step, to playing my favourite music during the procedures, it was genuinely the best experience I have ever had with a dentist. This is saying a lot, given I worked for Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine and had wonderful dentists over the years.
