Morehead Parks and Recreation Review

The skatepark is good but the concrete needs to be sealed, it has alot of cracks and it's hard to maintain speed on a skateboard, but on a bike it's just fine.

Nice park nice playground and swings for children and Adults I love going here to swing ....

It would have 5 star is some of the people who use this park learn to drive and slow down. I have had cars go way to fast passing my family when walking.

Princess ball was not quite up to Disney Standards.

Fun place for kids. Heard they're putting in a water park this summer too. We're currently here over on the baseball field supporting the Rowan County Vikings baseball team!

Love the new splash pad, and the playground is nice

Quite and peaceful sitting in the shade next to the stream. Cooler there in the shade also

Kids love this place. We cook out there several times a year.

Not much to do here. Seems to all be under construction..

Pretty good fishing, small mouth, trout, blue gills, rock bass

Good for what is avaliable. Not a lot but very pretty and growing.

A nice peaceful park to eat your lunch in. A good place to walk too.

Amazed at how much is being added to our Morehead Park each year. Our city government is taking our need to keep our kids and families active seriously. Thank you Morehead Park and Rec for investing in our city park.

My grandchildren love the playground equipment. Always have a wonderful time at the park.

They took our pool out. There's a descent playground for kids and nice baseball feilds for practice and games. There's also good fishing spots along the creek bank but it could be alot better. Dad really, there use to be a mini golf course to but they took that out as well so not much to do !

Awesome little park with a fence to keep smaller children from running into the parking lot. My boys enjoyed coming here and playing on the merry go round and all the slides.

Miss it having a pool, but hopefully the new splash pad will make it better

Nice park to take kids ,my only complaints is I have know idea when active go on that use some places. Like senior center or boce ball that love to used but can't.

Its pretty. And there is alot of excitement pretty much every day with enjoyable sports

Very complete park complex especially for a town the size of Morehead, KY.

Its a good place for kids to swing and for others to play ball if they can get others from destroying the place.

Peaceful quite and relaxing by triplet Creek watching the water and occasional fish splashing..

I went down one of the slides and I'm pretty sure broke my butt bone and I could hardly walk for a week. Overall a pretty good park...just avoid the slides.

Very nice place. Has a playground. And 3 practice baseball fields.

Bathrooms are closed. Not good with that many people using the park.

Has little bit of something for everyone. Nice place to eat a Fall time lunch on one of the picnic tables while watching the squirrels. They have a splash park, also a fenced dog friendly area.

Skate park is alright. However, it was built on an old basketball court, so there's bumps from the asphalt everywhere. Maybe a better skater could get enough speed and go over the bumps, but I cant do it.

Good, safe place to hang out. Nice playground for my son. He really likes it. Picnic shelter in the back is a good one.
