Beautiful place .... Good for a beer on the waterfront is fantastic .... it costs 2 .... I like Italian restaurants are expensive and the food is adapted to the tastes of the Danes ... Norwegian, English and so on . better to make pasta and tomatoes at home if you can .....

It is a family hotel, very quiet, with an incomparable climate and with a wonderful human and gastronomic quality. 150m from the beach. What more could you want? Simply fantastic. Our 5 stay at the hotel.

Fantastic place to stay, fantastic staff worth every penny

Fantastic hotel, extremely helpful staff, great rooms and delicious food. The gardens and pool area are stunning and the bathroom has the best hair dryer I have ever used in any hotel so no need to bring your own. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be back.

Really nice, spacious apartments (renovated) and a beautiful large terrace with artificial grass, outdoor shower, dining table and chairs and 2 sun loungers. Very nice for families with children, also because of the water park for the little ones and the children's pools.
Are you as a couple without children? Then I would recommend the hotel next door from the same organization ... that's a bit more romantic !! Puerto de Mogan itself is a very nice and photogenic place with a beautiful beach with a large market every Friday

Beautiful botanical gardens. Slightly surreal evening entertainment and dining times are quite regimented. But lovely pool, excellent food and wine. Rooms and entire hotel managed to a really high standard. Bike and diving centre too. Can basically manage your entire stay with no stress at all.

Great place, good food (if you take the first meeting in the evening). Despite the size not crowded. Room a bit old-fashioned but authentic. Service perfect.
Shortcoming: you are a bit off the beaten track, the beach nearby is not nice.

Beautiful hotel with lots of plants and running water that gives a living feeling. The staff are generally very good in English and always treat you with a smile. Despite the high season, it has been possible to get a sun lounger in the sun every day without being out and "booking" chair early in the morning. Had half board and both breakfast and dinner have been great. Large selection of dishes and things prepared according to your own specification, for example omelettes. Great variety of dishes every day.

Magnificent place to spend a vacation, cleaning, attention, etc ... perfect.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel in a junior suite. The junior suites are located at the bottom of the hotel, about 5 minutes walk from the reception, in small 2-storey buildings in the center of which are a very nice shaded patio, all of different styles.
The junior suites consist of a small entrance, a living room, a room of good size and a bathroom WC with shower and bath. There are 2 TVs and a DVD player. We were on the ground floor, and thus benefited from a small private garden, accessible from the living room and from the bedroom through a French window. It's very nice.
In terms of reproaches we note a cruel lack of free power outlets: impossible to use the kettle supplied otherwise than by plugging it into the bathroom instead of the hairdryer, or recharge his phone without starting flat belly to unplug a lamp post. The garden has a table, 2 chairs and 2 sunbeds. However none are equipped with a parasol. We were facing west, and at this season the sun hits hard, making the terrace unusable in the afternoon.
Last criticism, the chest is not free, which is petty on the part of an establishment of this class and this price.
The soundproofing is very correct, even if the noise of bathroom of the neighbors are quite present.
A good point too: there is a minibar but empty: it is possible to fill it yourself with drinks purchased at Spar located 5 minutes walk, which is much more economical than a minibar filled by the hotel.
Room service is perfect, with a morning pass and another at night to change towels if needed.
There are several buildings for catering. Breakfast can be taken near the main pool, a few blocks from our suite. The breakfast, as well as the evening meal for the half-boarders, is also taken in the main building, near the reception. The quality is correct for the price level. Desserts, on the other hand, are extremely average, but since the clientele is essentially made up of people from Anglo-Saxon countries and Northern Europe, we are going to assume that this should suit them ...

The gardens of the hotel are absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. There are 2 swimming pools, one of which is without animation to be able to stay calm if necessary. Otherwise there is entertainment all day (gym, bowling, darts ...), and also for children. The evening shows are very average (song oriented), but we do not come for that.
One point to emphasize: Hotel guests enjoy free and privileged access to the site of adjoining archaeological excavations of Lomo del Gato.
The staff, from front desk to room service, is exquisite, knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly.
In conclusion a good quality / price ratio

All great, rooms ok, breakfast very nice, clean nd calm pool (there are others for kids, too). Very nice stay except for the food in the outdoor bistro by the pool.

It doesn't stand out for anything in particular. Correct service and facilities. On a pc basis it is not cheap, but the buffet is not bad. Good management. Fair attractions. High approved.

Wonderful Hotel, unique for its exterior and interior beauty, and its outstanding service by a large number of very professional staff.

Good clean friendly and professional resort. Get a parasol early as these are limited and many others decided they would have 2 for their family which was selfish and unfair.
Splash park is great for little ones and pools were busy.
Food was good and a decent selection but there is a cheap supermarket just outside with many cafes and restaurants outside on the way to the beach only negative the town small, quite but recommend going to explore the island as beautiful and clean.

Just returned from a winter sun holiday. Couldn't find any faults with this hotel or Morgan it's self. Had a great time and will return same time next year.

Wonderful food and service. Good, well equipped rooms. Amazing calm grounds which are beautifully planted.

My favourite hotel at Gran Canary!

This was the second time my wife and I are visiting this amazing hotel in beautiful Puerto De Mogan! Cordial Mogan Playa is first of all a very beautiful resort (see my attached photos and you will understand) and we experienced this time a very high level of service from all of the staff.

Our room (no 7218) was very spacious and offered nice views and afternoon sun at the balcony. The room has also a spacious bathroom.

Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of cereals, continental meats and cheeses and cooked eggs and meats, though a little busy if you arrive later than about 08:30 in the morning.

Last time (March 16) the wifi at the hotel was something of a hit and miss affair. This time there was no problem with the connection at all but the capacity in the afternoon can be a little slow.

In summary, Cordial Mogan Playa is a very well run resort offering a very high standard of quality and service. I gave it 4 stars in my last review. This time it will be 5 stars!

Highly recommended. We will be back!

Nice hotel in the best place to stay in Gran Canaria Puerto de Mogan!

At our second trip to beautiful Puerto de Mogan my wife and I choose Hotel Cordial Mogan. The rooms we had (no 7225) were spacious and clean with good size balconies (see attached photos). Beds were extremely comfortable, bathrooms large with separate toilet, all the usual handy toiletries were provided.

The hotel is about 10 min walk from the beach and about 15 min walk from the charming harbour, where there are many bars and restaurants (let me recommend Casito Mediterraneo and Que Tal By Stena see my Tripadvisor reviews). Garden in the hotel grounds is filled with beautiful plants and flowers. This hotel is more like a small village or gated community than a hotel, so peaceful and enjoyable to walk around.

All the hotel staff were well trained, courteous, and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of cereals, continental meats and cheeses and cooked eggs and meats, though a little busy.



In summary, the Cordial Mogan Playa is a very well run hotel offering a very high standard of quality and service. I chose this hotel based on all the good Tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed!

Okay but much too far to the beach...
More set up for kiddies...

Great for toddler families, with play room, kids club and very good pool facilities. Relatively simple standard, but clean and not worn. Rich breakfast buffet with pleasant staff.

I am very happy and grateful to the town hall and its alcardesa for allowing us to enjoy its town and its beaches respecting its sonaa and municipality a caravanista that save resspetar

Hotel is great, but dinner serwirt only with alcohol or cool water. I do not like it that much because I am a diver and cool water is not good for the stomach and does not go with hot dishes. Hotel is like botanical garden, great !!!
There's a gym, a diving center, kids rooms and some sweaters, what do I think, by the sea, stupid.

Cozy despite a very large hotel. We will certainly return.

Newly refurbished apartment, all mod cons & very spacious. The beds are super comfortable & it has a TV in both the bedroom & lounge. The outside area is spot on & leads directly to the pool.
The only slight niggle is the intermittent & very slow WiFi, but we can cope with that.

Great hotel Quiet and cozy. Ideal for families. But there is always some employee who overreached in his duties the last time I had a bad experience with a waiter in the pool bar who said that my daughter wearing a top should be covered for lunch. I already bitter the holidays because other tourists who were in a swimsuit did not catch their attention. And previous days nothing had happened until you get the insolent turn who does not like the island tourist who paid the same as the rest. Always the same in many hotels in the south do not like the island tourist but peninsular and foreigner. So that later they talk about discrimination.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very nice hotel that is not a hotel complex but several nice three-storey houses. A bit like a cozy village with beautiful gardens everywhere. Nice staff and good service. Nice rooms and good food. Clean and fresh as a thousand. Was there with my wife and two children (4 and 9 years) and we love this hotel.

It's fine, although not for that price I think. On the internet I read that it was the best of Gran Canaria for children ... NOR OF PINEAPPLE.

The place is unbeatable for children, but it has flaws: if it is your last dinner shift for dinner (from 7:45 to 9:00 p.m.), you have to choose between going to the minisdisco, with hours from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 20:30 or to dinner, remember that it is focused on children, they should extend the dinner shift for half an hour so as not to have to run. On the other hand, the meals of the full pension are disastrous, burned or raw, there is no middle ground, it is not worth paying the full pension, in general very bad meals. The spectacular room especially the terrace. Good treatment of workers. I would not return on a full pension basis.

Apartments are reasonably spacious and comfortable. For self-catering they are a little lacking in utensils. Beds are fine, cupboard space good, and a good balcony area. Overall very good but just short of excellent! Lifts to all areas are available and wheelchair access seems good.

Very nice beautiful hotel. Food is plentiful and for every taste. 5 min and the ocean. Sand beach. Despite the distance from the airport, the hotel is full. It is not enough children. Good in our case. love calmly. The pools are warm. I think back here.

It has very well-kept gardens and an area with archaeological remains that were discovered in the surroundings, a sandy beach by the pool.

The port of Puerto de Mogan invites you to take a nice walk in the evening.

Very cool and impressive interiors in the reception and dining areas. If you're into G&T you'll like the schweppes wagon with an assortment of gins and tonics.

It's okay, small, for four people as much. You can take a hair or hair, you can go on vacation one week a year.

Great hotel, lovely area and fantastic food. Add to this the sun the sea and great company and you have the idea holiday.
