Fairly well maintained mall with good selection of stores.
Plenty of parking, nice design and free WiFi, but several stores are closing down. Other than that, great place to shop, eat and hangout!
Has a great selection of restaurants and is less crazy than Tysons Corner which has so many people you can't walk without stepping on someone.
Everything since Tyson corner got the metro it went ghetto!! There is no chance of this mall getting a metro stop at this time shock means it was stay nice!!!
Great variety of shops and many wondrous food options. Felt like they had it all from high end to a quick bite for a low price. Shopping from end to end and many kid friendly play areas for moms and dads to take a seat and enjoy the hustle and bustle around them. You need it and can't find it here your looking in the wrong place, try the internet but if you need new fashions to wear or accessories for your everyday whatever then you are in the right place.
They really missed an opportunity, and should have named it Fantastic Oaks Mall.
It's okay. A bit dated and looks like a typical American 80s mall.

Good to see some good malls left. Everyone was friend and the common areas very clean. Decorating has already begun for the holidays. Plenty of parking and lots of safe lighting in the evening.
Great mall. Wide variety of store, and food. You don't have to worry about parking at this mall, there is plenty of it. You can do everything from get orthodontic braces put on to getting your watch fixed.
Great mall and use the DMV as the line goes really fast...
It's a small mall. I've been going here for 20 years. There's a dmv in the mall which is interesting. There's not many options for stores and stores are always going out of business.
I usually come here early when there is less crowds.

Good place to go shopping for locals especially if you are looking for clothes. However if looking for other items, like electronics, this mall can be rather limited.
The new play area they just opened up is AWFUL! I was so excited to have an indoor play area close to home since it's colder now but whomever they hired to design it did NOT think it through and was more focused on having their companys name on everything and the "theme" than making an area easy for parents to allow children to go play without having to be hovering over them. The area appears a lot smaller, the area that has a slide is covered where parents cant see what their toddler is doing inside the covered truck....therefore you have to be hovering and can't sit down to relax. There is this other area that has colorful circles where kids are trying to slide down but parents cant allow them for fear of hitting another kid where at the bottom is this round circle thing that other kids sit in. Plus they have a "cold" knob that has NO purpose at all. Only 1-2 kids can sit on it...its super unsafe to crawl on again without having to hover as a parent. THey needed to take a page from the play area at dulles town center mall where there are slides, its safe for kids to crawl up things without parents having to worry about hitting another kid or falling and hurting themselves. SERIOUSLY>>>>redo! You FAILED!
I don't live in fairfax anymore but a couple years ago when i was there, this mall was my fav! Loved the stores, and the food section. I went back to visit last week and the mall just seemed dead. Too bad sears and charlotte russe closed down.
The mall is pretty solid, and has great places to shop and eat at.

Over-priced. Too big and too much walking to get to one or two stores. JCPenney is leaving, one of the few affordable stores in there. Eh. Not much to love about it. Bland, big box mall that is a symbol of the 90s. I rarely go here for shopping. I take my son to the indoor playground when it's too hot for him to play outside. The DMV is in here too and it's ok. Some of the staff can be a bit rude at times or incompetent.
It is soooooo goooood so many stores to shop at it is like heaven and good places to eat
What I like: + Convenient location + Plenty of parking + Most common chain retail stores are here + Fairly clean What I dislike - Lack of a proper food court like Tysons or Dulles mall - No Nordstrom - 2 separate Macy's stores (why?)
Mall with a variety of stores to shop from. Several restaurants. Cheesecake Factory Restaurant is my favorite!!
It was clean there was lots of people in the mall. Nice place to go shopping on a cold day.

These photos are specific to the new Frozen Licks that opened up by Cheesecake Factory. Hands down, the closest international shaved ice styles you will see in this area. Far more superior than the food truck or festival shaved ice.
Every time I come to this mall, I always have a great time. I visited Lolli and Pops, I went to various phone stores looking for a new phone, I got a chocolate covered strawberry cone at Godiva oh, I just had a blast! This is a wonderful Mall to come and have a great time with your friends and to do all of your shopping in one place. Overall great experience

Been going to this mall for years. No food court but they have many options. You have to walk around to get to the food spots.
I like the layout of the stores and the walking space. The kids play area is extremely small and crowded. Small children get run over. The rest of the mall is clean and well lit.
Decent mall. Can get busy. Good variety of shops and people. Sometimes you have to park far from your intended shop. There is a hidden DMV, but the secret is out and now it is always busy.
Love fairs oaks they have a Mac, Pandora. That's all you need

Fair Oaks is a good little mall. It has some great food options, Dave & Buster's, and a science lab for kids - in addition to the usual mall stores. Also, it's not as crowded as Tysons Corner Center.
Lots of stores, amazing places to eat, fun to wal around and spend time there
Nice mall and great food at The Cheese Cake Factory located there.
