A family friendly shopping mall that still has plenty of stores, and lots of seating, and a good variety of food choices.

Just go here for the elevation burger with my daughter if time permits

I love this mall especially in Summer since it has many trees providing great shades. It has the most parking spaces, so finding one during Christmas shopping is easy.

This mall started the concept of seating area for great gatherings. Too bad they removed the sunken seating area. They started also the center area for show. Truly pioneer in mall design.

Fair Oaks Mall has more room to expand. Hopefully they will create food court.

Ample parking. Mobile charging stations with USB power.

Friendly employees & helpful customer service personnel. Restaurant food is very good but is expensive. Guess comes
with the territory.

Pretty big mall from first glance. Has a variety of shops. Also saw workers cleaning the mall before opening hours. Also has a long directory list for tourist as well. Used restroom as well was super clean no issues there. Did have a little kids car/truck area for the kids to pass the time. Good variety of food options as well.

Looks like a ghost town. Very quite and not many peoples.

This is one of my favorite malls in NOVA, but they really need to build a centralized food court.

Nice mall has a climbing thing for little kids, a coffee place, good for a couple hours to emtertain little ones.

Mall is spacious and clean. A nice variety of stores within, and good signage. Normally not overly crowded. They host some fun childrens events during holidays also, but it does get crowded during those times. Restaurants are all delicious, but usually a wait during dinner hours. Parking outside can be hectic, but there is a parking garage as well.

Great mall, has all the things you could want in a mall including awesome dining areas like Cheese Cake Factory, and Luciano's Italian Cuisine. Awesome place to take the family for some fun and shopping with a great atmosphere!

Very nice. You find lot of things to do. Best place for shopping. Special if you like handmade icecream front of you.

My go to mall. Not too big, but big enough to have what I need.

A high end retail strip mall with a good view from multiple angles. An area that brings floods of people, especially during the weekends, holidays, and warm seasons. A place with a large parking area that offers access to a diverse number of places to eat and buy things.

There are countless amounts of stores to hit. There is also an elevator installed that takes you smoothly to the second floor. Although there is no third floor, they have soda machines in just about every corner and a phone to money machine too, standing among the flurry of vendors by the cart.. somewhere.

They have a few resting zone circles, where you can take your children to for a quick sit down, a coffee hut location, and they also provide bathrooms you will be able to find, in the corners.

Fair Oaks Mall, can get pricey. Although it is a lot of fun to be able to visit and walk around the mall.

Good place to hang around and shop. Beware of the prices though :-)

Typical mall offerings; a little bit of this and that for everyone. Enjoyed my first visit; clean, well laid out, not overly crowded, customers behaving themselves, stores well attended, enough food establishments to choose from. A good place to spend hundreds of dollars or nothing at all; parking was not an issue during the time of our visit, circled only once and found a decent spot. Would return and recommend.

I loved Lord and Taylor especially the people who work at the Lancome counter.

I found a new option of food at Peruvian Chicken Pollo Pollo

Like the two level mall. Good places to get food, although there is no food court, its all over the mall. Can get a little hectic during the weekends but over all not bad

well stores are rip offs but then again its still a mall and i enjoy coming rarely.

Hugh mall! Only went to JC Penney's for the college students' professional clothing sale (lots of customers, long lines to try clothes on and to check out but good deals). From past experience the rest of the mall is very nice, clean, lots of stores. Driving in and out of the mall area can be tricky. Follow the signs to the road you want to go to. Use GPS if you need to.

The security guy was a joke ,I asked for help with my dead battery of my car and he started acting like a cop , asking me for all my personal information like DL and phone # like I had committed a crime...

Been going to fair oaks since I started living in VA in 2003 at age 18. Love this mall. Very comfortable and relaxed place to be, and lots of good stores too

Lots of stores, but a rather expensive and boring place.

I'm usually not a mall person, but this one is bearable at best.

Decent mall with decent shops. It has the worst layout for a mall. Not circular like most but has many branching hallways.

Good for quick shopping - not really as nice as Tysons corner mall or galleria but does the job

Nice mall, can be a little pricey. But that's because of the location.

They had a surprisingly large amount of good store selections here. Good restaurants as well. I would recommend this mall most definitely.

Nice basic mall in Northern VA. No cheap stores here though...

I liked the mall much better in my last visit. I noticed several improvements done. Bathrooms are clean and modern, sitting areas are comfortable with plenty of work areas with power outlets. All major stores are in there including Apple, Verizon and ATT in addition to the major department stores. The parking is plenty and free. Reston town center should take a lesson, sigh. In summary it is one of the best and busiest malls I have visited recently during a weekday.

UGH...this place is awful. So crowded, so many people and no one cares about personal space. I doubt if I will EVER go there again. Seriously, it was miserable and I couldn't wait to leave and never come back.

What happened to this place? Sears is gone! Now it's a Dave and Busters and a Macy's home store. And how come at 1pm on a friday, the parking lots are full yet the mall is empty? Where are all the people who own all those cars?

It s good. I mean, it s a mall. It has stores that you go to. Basically it s your average mall. In my area so I ll go. Not bad.

One of the best malls in the region. Added bonus is that it's not near a Metro rail station.

The place is convenient and open and the shops are well known. Parking spaces are available and the size is Lapas.

Stores are upscale enough, food options are diverse enough, a DMV, and the top 4 mobile service providers (all corporate stores) located inside the mall. The circle that surrounds the mall has several banking options for business like Wells Fargo/BOA and lodging choices for resting like the Marriott. It's a self contained ecosystem and a great example of a "one stop shop" location.

I grew up between Potomac Mills and the mall in Fredericksburg so this mall was a HUGE step up on all fronts. Sure the Tyson's Corner and Pentagon City malls are tops in the area but Fair Oaks is a very accessible substitute.

Fair Oaks Mall has great stores and restaurants but lacks designer stores such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry which are available at nearby Tysons Galleria. It's a great option because of distance but other than that I would rather make the drive towards Tysons or Pentagon City.

Was not there for long but looked like a cool place to hang out. There was also a cool kids section where they can lean and not just play. I don't know how long the mall has been opened but they had nice clean bathrooms. Next time i want to stay longer and check more of it out.
