Lovely open for both animals and people, with good facilities and playground for the children

Lovely day in the Zoo, exciting with the new building, which takes up a lot of space.

Lovely place. Most of the animals have good conditions. My grandchildren of 5 and one of almost 2 years enjoy it. Tractors can be rented. There are plenty of toilets. Good access conditions for the disabled. Lovely playground. Lots of benches where you can sit and enjoy the animals.

Beautiful zoo with nice conditions for the animals and visitors. The zoo is well-located and is easily reached by foot, bike, car, and public transportation from Copenhagen city center. Lots of information about the different animals provided. Watching the guided feedings was a nice experience.

Super nice place. Virkleof child friendly. A bit annoyed with all that renovation, but we love to get there. Our 1.5-year-old was absolutely crazy and it's definitely not the last time we've got there

Great nice m light, Christmas trees, luminous animals and said goodnight to the zoo animals and two grandchildren.

Besides building rubble, kbh zoo is always a pleasure to visit, plus ticket is definitely a plus ..

Great for kids. If you go there more than twice per year, the season pass is the cheapest

Nice zoo with charming atmosphere. Many options to visit different animals. You can bring your own food for a nice picnic (there are many tables around the full park) or take it in the differences food trucks: bao, durum, hot dog, churros... It is a little bit busy in this season but is still to big to make it feel crowded! You can get it easy by metro. It will be grateful all signals and leaders information in English or unless Danish & English. In the entrance there are some times queue, you can avoid it buying the tickets in advance in their web!

It was an awesome experience, the zoo has a big variety of animals and the facilities are very clean! It's just amazing.

Lots of great displays with the animals in what looks like good enclosures.
One of the best zoos I have visited and the staff were very helpful.
Families can enjoy the space and facilities as can couples or groups.

Had a wonderful day with the kids. Honestly, it's built there now. Some of the cages are somewhat rampant. Surprising selection of food and drink, ecology and sustainability in focus. A little tired of having to pay 32, - for a cup of filter coffee.

Impresive variety of different animals, huge aviaries often shared between different types of animals - giraffes with zebras and ostriches, reindeer near seals. Lots of facilities for having some rest and food.

Pricy, but always great animal axperiences, especially for children.

Here there is plenty and see and experience. A bit expensive for food and drink but clearly a place to go if you like animals or with family

Lovely zoo! Kids had fun, especially when they can get real close to the anymals! The big white bear was amazing! We loved watching him swimming all around his pool, also you can see him from under the water, he is so cute)) The territory isn't very big. Great time to spend with your family! Very friendly environment.

It's been a long time since I've been, but I remember it as a good experience.

Poor living conditions for the animals. The cages are small and dirty.

Very good an interesting zoo, with cool animals and lots too see. Kid and wheelchair friendly. Eating here is a bit expensive.

Really nice zoo where the animals come first, the staff are always ready to answer any questions and their presentations on the various animals during the day are very instructive

I'm actually not a huge fan of zoos, I feel sorry for the captured animals, but it was 10 am and the nearby Cisterns (recommended to see!) were not open until 11 am so I came to the zoo to pass the time till then, with my Copenhagen Pass. The Zoo is laid out very well and all the areas and animals are clean and comfortable. Good place for kids, of course! (I went in August 2019.) I saw many animals up close, like lions, giraffes, polar bears, otters, elephants, etc. One panda was napping on a rock far off so didn't see it close.

Very up to date zoo with focus on the animals needs for a normal life.
But buy your food and beverage outside and bring it. It is a bit overpriced to buy inside.

Beautiful animals and kids friendly decor. However, would like cages and enclosures to be larger as many animals are crammed together in too little space.

There are a lot to see here, if you like Zoos this is a great one

Luv this zoo soooo much! There are three eye-catching polar bears. You can see them at open-air environment and in underwater tunnel. I also saw three lionets which fully grabbed my attention.

Always a pleasure - even in rain and debris like today. It also means more space to see! And a pork sandwich sandwich! as we enjoyed in the bullet sitting on thick reindeer skins. The visit should have lasted a couple of hours, but fell to four!

Due to rebuilding it is a little difficult to get around but otherwise good

I hate animals. They just lie down and die slowly. The only funny animals were the monkeys. They have a party.
My mother fell and there was no help. There was blood. Nothing to cleanse the wound or anything. Highly unprofessional. There must be 100 kids settling in that zoo, and there should be better service on that level .. Cool. Found a patch in one of the food stands, nice, thanks for that!

Not the best zoo but bigger than it first looked and a nice day out

Many different animals, that live in good conditions and look like they are happy.

Good variety of animals are their, reasonable ticket price, need more of animals shows..

Absolutely Amazing Zoo. One of the best.

If you re visiting Copenhagen with your kids, or you love visiting Zoos then you should plan a visit.
I liked that you can view the animals from different viewing points, clear views with minimum obstacles, clean, great kids play grounds and lovely food options.
They do accept Copenhagen card.

The coolest experience, with my grandchildren ... love when it's all lit up with light everywhere ... Taaak for it ... Must be experienced when darkness falls ...

Walking around the Zoo I always think is a pleasure. It is great to see the development that has taken place, the heightened pleasure.
What makes me not give 5 stars is that the lunch we had in the Zoo's "fine" restaurant was under all criticism.
We got 3 pcs. traditional open sandwiches. In my opinion, it was not exactly traditional, but it is a question of interpretation.

Nice zoo but beware it's dirty, The water basins are filthy The place is also very cramped for animals and The poor animals look depressed
Especially the bear seemed very hungry, knowing that he had food for rabbit, carrot and cabbage .....

If you happen to have a day off in Copenhagen, I would definitely recommend visiting the zoo. You can get really close to the animals, there is even a possibility to walk through some of the habitats. There aren't too many different species, giving the visitor an opportunity to get a more complete of the existing ones.

Practice it otherwise has been a nice Zoo.
Now far too exaggerated Corona one-way hysteria - and so many guests do not have a zoo on a weekday.
Practice for all the concrete that characterizes the Zoo in 2020.
It seems the architects mean more than the animals.
Look to get some green planted in a hurry

Party of children and parents, all under renovation, beautiful polar section and elephant area under construction, a beautiful display of sand structures completed the visit (excellent connections via city buses)

Hard to find Parking .... Nice ZOO worth a Visit or 2 ... or 3

Copenhagen Zoo is simply great in every way. Worth a visit :-)

Great place for children and adults. It is surprisingly hard to really see everything in one day, when you have small children that just want to play on the playground and pet the farm animals!

It is long ago that my family has had such a good experience
