Large clean zoo with large aviaries and special aquariums for polar bears and hippos. The only disappointment - did not see the polar bear, because of which they came. Apparently, got on his rest time.
But the situation was corrected by rhinos that ran around their courtyard.

Excellent zoo, looks like the animals are well taken care off and they have enough space to roam around.
Kids (and adults) will have a great time since everyone should see their favorite animal.
We bought the Copenhagen city card so it was included.

Too many people, little respect for Covid-19, some places like the underwater tunnel in the icebear cave need thorough cleaning - it's so dirty you can't see much, see the photo. Dkr 60 ($9) for a hotdog isn't exactly cheap either, but we did see a lot of animals and enjoyed most parts of the visit.

An amazing zoo where you can see a lot of different kind of animals from all around the world. There are also some very aggressive birds that sometimes try to steel your food! Nevermind, it's a very interesting place and its symbol are nice Pandas. There is also a small souvenirs shop that offer a huge variety of things for all ages.

Large and cozy zoo, well-organized and interesting angled. Not all of the animals seemed to be huge.
Own department for every continent. Especially interesting with its own tropical department for snakes, spiders, scorpions and not least monkeys.

Beautiful with children, not sufficiently equipped if the children are relatively small, to eat it was problematic enough to warm up a little baby food not to mention non-existent baby-changing tables and high chairs, otherwise the zoo is well cared for and the animals as well in the area of the polar orai that offer a unique spectacle.

It was hard to keep distance the places that were extra popular. The animals were extremely passive and difficult to see. The polar bear had no ice, all in all it looked like the animals lacked some activation. However, the park was lovely to walk around in and when you finally saw some animals, it was a good experience. The food is pricey but, that's what to expect. Experience was good, however, some more shadow spots were missing.

It's a very nice zoo. Lots of different animals and their babies and you can be kinda close to them too. They brought two giant pandas recently which is a big attraction. Very fun place for the whole family.

In order to see the polar bears, it s a pity that I didn t see it.
However, it is very good to see the kangaroos at close range.
I don't know if the zoo is too old,
A lot of unused places, dirty and smelly, feel like there is no special maintenance.

The sloth is a Darling on a whole new level! If you need something to spend time in there then try to go looking for if you can find it :) you can get a lot of time to go with it while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the tropical area. The penguins are also mega cute, and very fun to look at.
I think the polar bears were a bit overrated, although they are also nice enough. The food is stinky expensive in there (No pun intended), and a soda from a vending machine costs 30 kr, which is probably the cheapest in there besides a ketchup dip for 10 kr.

But besides the food, it is a fantastic cozy place, and when the weather allows it, you can spend a whole day in there and still enjoy yourself at the end of the day. The gift shop is expensive too, but they have cute souvenirs, so you might not get quite what you pay for, but still something sweet.
Until August, they have half price on admission, but I would recommend buying tickets there, as there is a mega long queue if you have bought online in relation to the counter.

The zoo is a lovely place, lots of beautiful and healthy animals in a beautifully maintained park. You can easily spend a whole day at the zoo, and if you look at when the different animals are fed can even get some exciting activity from the animals as well as a lot of information from the animal keepers

I felt it was made way too simple to feed the animals, which I saw a lot of. Animals aren't to eat human food for reasons I would like to believe are obvious, but it's clear that isn't common sense. The fences around the animals are way too low, I could have grabbed a penguin or otter if I wanted to. I felt the animals were in danger of humans pretty much at all times.
Overall, the zoo has good intentions and is VERY insightful, but it's attempts to intrigue people with their ability to get very close to the animals also puts the animals in danger.
