A/C recently broke down. As a member of their "comfort club" I had recently had a PM done and they replaced my 15-20 year old "dying" capacitor. Well, 8 months later, the new capacitor is also dying and the fan motor has locked up. The technician told me a new motor would be over $1500 and that I should just buy a new system. In the process of getting quotes from multiple vendors, I have another company coming to repair my system for ~$500.

Stay far away from Cruel Solutions. The predatory practices they use are vile.

They sent someone out to my house to try and resolve this situation. He clearly stated to me that he would be bringing me a check for a refund of $309 (the service call and the price of a capacitor). After 3 days, they have decided to not issue me a refund. I will be submitting complaints with both the Ohio AG and the BBB. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LYING SCAMMERS

First I would like to say this is the first I have heard of cool solutions. My son was hired under the apprentice ship program where they are supposed to train him and teach him the business. He was paid 10.00 dollars an hour to start. After about a month or so on the job my son was working in an attic and took a misstep and fell through the ceiling of a customers house. Thank GOD he was not injured! When he got back to the shop his boss (which I am assuming is the owner) gave my son a choice of paying the cost to repair the house ($800.00) or lose his job. Being 21 and new to this business my son agreed to pay so much a week out of his check. I know this company has insurance to cover these kinds of mishaps. He is young and learning and made a mistake. But he liked what he was doing and was learning a new trade and did not want to lose his job. So again after another month or so he was told he would have to buy his own tools@ $400.00 or so. Making $10 an hour he could not afford to buy new tools. His mother helped him out and got him a few tools that he would need. After a few more weeks my son went in for a test and was called in after and told they did not think he was taking the job seriously and treating it like a summer time job and let him go! They also told him they were keeping his last paycheck for the rest of the damages . I am pretty sure this is illegal.I have never wrote in detail about a company before but I had to this time. I have tried several times to contact the owner to talk about what happened and I can not get a return phone call.I would be very leary of hiring this company or going to work for them. Read the reviews and get informed before you use them. I will be happy to change my review if I get in contact with the owner and he can give me a good explanation on why he did this to my son.

While I was in college for HVAC I decided to give this place a shot because I needed a job. After going through the usual interviewing process I began to realize the other new hires around me had absolutely no experience in this business at all. Worse yet , I quickly caught on to the fact that the more experienced "technicians" they were using didn't have even have the same basic knowledge that I had coming out of school. The people that cool solutions are sending to your home are nothing more than trained salesman. The supervisor Brian handed me a pamplet that was a sales pitch. I was asked to memorize it word for word and was expected to begin reciting it the moment I reached the customers door. This sales pitch wasn't your typical company sales strategy, but instead was designed by a professional to groom the customer into saying yes to the technician. I didnt know it at the time but I was being trained to use an old sales strategy commonly used in the retail industry to convince an unwitting customer to buy something. I worked for cool solutions for two more days and then quit after I realized what a joke this place was. Now that I am a journeyman technician with a reputable company I warn everyone I can to stay away from cool solutions.
P.S. they didn't even pay me for the two days I was there lol.

Everyone at Cool Solutions is amazing! They are always so friendly! My heat wasn t working this morning and I called them to place a work order. They came out within a half an hour. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to respond so quickly. I highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. Thank you so much Cool Solutions for making my issue a priority!

Service technicians cannot be trusted. Recently I was told that I needed to have a faulty gas valve replaced at a cost of $700+. I suspected that the valve was OK and got a second opinion from another hvac service company that confirmed the valve was good. Also, they would replace a valve of that type for $350.

Pat Andrews did a great job.My furnace stopped running and it was below zero degrees outside.He had it running in a snap. What a Blessing!!!

Estimators that came to the house were friendly. I like that the first thing they did was put boot covers on(even though it wouldn't have bothered me) just a good/professional practice. However the price they quoted me was extremely high for the work they were going to do. This was primarily due to the fact they up-charge the water heater and softener. In fact they wanted to charge me $5k for a tank-less that is actually just over $2k from the manufacturer. An up-charge is to be expected but $3k is excessive. The labor and materials charge was better but still a little too high for the job. I would have definitely considered them since they are allegedly veteran owned but not for the up-charge of the equipment.

This review is not about your tech Austin it s about your business model. Austin was a professional honest man who diagnosed our A/C issue and pointed out the poor job done by another tech who under filled our unit three weeks ago. My issue is your price model for coolant, $950.00 flat fee regardless of the amount needed is unethical. This is like a gas station charging a flat fee for gas regardless of how many gallons you need to fill your tank. My family will spend another night without A/C because of your unethical pricing and tactics, I just wonder how many customer fell for this money grab because they had a less then ethical tech.

I highly recommend Cool Solutions! Barry was our service technician today and he was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. My husband and I also appreciated his friendliness and consideration of our home. Thanks Barry for a great experience!

I just received an illegal telemarketing call from "Cool Solutions on Stanley
Avenue" offering a special deal. My phone number is on the federal Do Not
Call list. When I told the telemarketer that, she said she was new and all
she does is "Get numbers from the computer and push buttons." Beware! Anyone
who is willing to break the law to make sales cannot be trusted around the
small valuable items in your house. The call was received at approximately
3:15 PM on 25 March 2015.

We have been a customer of Cool Solutions for over three years. Being members of the Comfort Club means they come out twice a year and make sure we are prepared for the next Ohio weather change. It alleviates stress knowing they will catch potential problems. Pat came out today, and he was professional and considerate. He explained each part of his inspection process and answered my questions and made sure I understood how the system is currently working. The only reason I did not give five stars is that I purchased a water softener from them that has not been working correctly. Pat believes that he finally has the issue solved, but will not know for sure until next week.

Once again Pat Andrews arrived in good time. Did a complete check of my furnance and got it running again quickly. He is a pleasant person and great with my dogs. I feel completely satisfied to call knowing he will get things fixed in this manner. 5 stars

There isn't a company with greater integrity and commitment to customer service than Choice Comfort who also owns Cool Solutions. Paul and his team are simply terrific in what they do and how they do it. You'll never look anywhere else. They're maintenance program is top notch as well.

I initially chose this company because they were the company that installed the heating system in my house before I purchased it. I am now a loyal customer. They are responsive, upfront with pricing, and honest. The absolute best thing has been how quick they are. I've gotten same-day appointments every time I've needed them. And not four-hour blocks either - actual appointment times! Plus they don't charge extra for evenings or weekends, especially helpful to a working mom like me.

I have been a Cool Solutions customer for about 8 years. They have installed my Heating/Cooling/Water Heater systems over the years. The techs that have come out to my house are top notch. Not only are they experts in all areas, but kind and respectful too. My A/C check for the upcoming summer was just performed by Pat at Cool Solutions and he went the extra mile to make sure my system was operating at 100%. The nicest guy you could ever meet! Thank you Cool Solutions for never letting me down.

After coming home from a 3 day mini-vacation, It was 84 degrees in our house. When we saw that the thermostat was left on, it was apparent that something was wrong. I called Cool Solutions, and less than an hour, I received a call that they could come within an hour or so. Pat Andrews arrived and was very polite, and extremely kind. He clearly explained what happened, and what it would take to get it right. We joined the Comfort Club, because it was such a great value for us. I was more than satisfied with the service provided. I am also much cooler than a few hours ago.

Pat Andrews was awesome! He was my service technician who was dispatched to my residence as a follow up. Boy did he follow up. He was very thorough and very professional and polite. Pat gave me plenty of updates on his progress along the way and ensured that i was comfortable the entire time he was in my home. He answered all of my many questions and was very informative. He even triple checked his work before he left. Pat found the issue with my unit and worked diligently to execute the solution.

Pat Andrews is thorough. He looked at the whole furnace and repaired everything to out great satisfactions and he also left our hall clean and spotless. He also found we had a carbon monoxide leak, so in fact he saved our lives. He is a great guy!

Extremely over priced and unwilling to work with you on cancellations. Based on quotes received, they were well out of the competitive rang on service and products. Highly recommend another company.

Our technician has visited our home several times for regular check-ups of our HVAC system. Each time he has visited, he has been very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough when inspecting our system. Additionally, he always makes sure to take the time to completely explain any issues he has discovered as well as any parts that may be needed.

Pat Andrews was the tech sent out for my summer A/C check up. Pat has been at my house before and always does a great job. Very friendly and informative - even happily interacts with my 2 dogs.. Cool Solutions has taken care of my HVAC concerns since I've been in my house - I appreciate all they have done.

I Had a great experience last year with the service man Pat. My furnace was running for a little while an then shutting off. I had called two companies.
The 1st service man wanted $550 for a control board and the 2nd service man wanted $850 for a gas valve. They spent about 10 minutes each checking the furnace and I didn't trust either one of them. So I called a third company Cool Solutions and they sent out Pat. He spent over an hour checking out the furnace and found the problem. It just needed cleaning and that fixed the problem. There's 3 things I look for. 1) someone I can trust. 2) someone who is knowledgeable. And 3) cost. Pat is someone I can trust and is very knowledgeable. The costs are about the same but I saved money with Pat because of his knowledge and truthfulness.
I highly recommend Cool Solutions.
