I really hated this place for years. Right after moving to Rochester, I came in looking for some additions to my new home and the woman behind the counter was not only short and rude but also combative. I placed the $2000 or so, in cookware I had selected on the counter, walked out and never looked back. a few weeks ago, I needed a specific item for a dinner I was hosting and couldn't wait for an online delivery. I had been cleaning leaves out of my gutters and was a complete smelly disaster, boots and all. I decided not to clean up before going back to this place 10-years later - I wasn't looking for one but I was going to be ready for a fight. The woman who helped me was attentive and thoughtful and I not only dumped a bunch on a specialty knife that I really didn't need, I spent another several hundred on other cool stuff that I will use but, didn't need. I gave them the opportunity to show their true colors and I think all I did was show mine. I may have made a mistake but even if I didn't, the attention she gave to understanding what I was trying to accomplish and helping me solve my problem made the experience a joy. Thank you.

Best place for any culinary needs. I had my wedding registry here and the experience was wonderful. The staff was awesome and helpful and they made the process easy and fun. I love it there.

Customer service was great. I came into the store to have my knives sharpened as well as to address a problem. Everyone was great and my problem was resolved quickly so i could return to work.

Rebecca's and Nancy were awesome! They helped gave me several options for the appliances I was looking for and took the time to explain each. They did this all with a very cheerful and kind attitude! It was very helpful as someone new to cooking.

Great selection of stuff for the kitchen. They have almost anything you can think of. Staff helpful and very friendly. As with all brick and mortar stores the prices might be slightly higher than you might get online but worth the in person help and being able to feel and compare the products. I don't shop for kitchen ware often but it is my go to place.

I went to Cooks World looking for a wok for my cousins birthday. A woman assisted me with the different options they had, told me about the seasoning process and how to take care of it. Sold on the spot. I then asked if she could wrap it up for me, and she went above and beyond! She had the handle out of the box, cutting a little hole for it, put a big bow on it and everything, at no extra cost! She was very sweet and helpful. I will absolutely be back to this place for some spices for when I smoke some meats, they had a pretty wide selection. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Big box stores come and go, but good, long-standing, local businesses are the place to shop if you want good variety and high quality. Cook's World is one of those places. Don't waste time going to big retailers for unique kitchen supplies - their selection just can't equal what you will find here. In fact, be prepared to come out with more than you expected to get. It would be hard to enumerate their categories (I may edit this later will a small attempt), so just show up and potter about and see what they have - you will be delighted and and surprised!

Amazing service and selection. If you love cool / unique and name brand items for cooking, or need a great gift, then Cooks World is the place! The prices and selection are great the knowledgeable and helpful staff make the difference. Easy to get to, great parking, and internet orders too for when you can't shop local (they can ship your gift).

I do a lot of online shopping these days, but I so value Cook's World that I try to get cooking things from them. As much as possible I try to SHOP LOCAL. I value the relationship I've developed with them and the expertise they offer on everything from great knives to first rate cookware and kitchen tools. They are eager to help, have a great selection, happily ship to you wherever you might be. Their prices are generally just as good as what I'd get online. That makes me happy because I'd really rather give them my business than see great small stores go away. CHECK THEM OUT!

Shopping here is incredible and dangerous. Why yes, I did need a peeler and oven mitts... ...But look at that ceramic chef's knife, and that ceramic pan, and those spices, and those aprons and wooden spatulas etc. Everything you could ever think about needing in a kitchen, they've got in that small store

Cooks World did an amazing job with our Wedding Registry. Rebecca gave us great personalized service during our walk-through to look at items. The selection was awesome, and Rebecca was really helpful throughout our engagement whenever we had follow-up questions.

My fiancee and I have been working with Cooks' World for our wedding registry. We live in South Dakota and the staff there have been absolutely helpful in making sure that we have everything we need on it! They made the process so easy - and we're halfway across the country!

I just LOVE Cook's World. Unfortunately, I don't have the budget to buy very often, and it's too painful for me to come in and browse very often knowing I can't buy anything. I tell my husband that if I ever win the lottery I will buy out the entire store!

Another gem that Rochester has! The folks who work here know how to cook and give great advice. You will not find much that discount stores carry but they do have reasonable prices for the quality you get. Plus you are supporting a one of a kind local business!

Very nice store! Hundreds (or more!) items, many of them I only have seen in catalogs, and wondered about. The owner is very knowledgeable, unassuming and helpful. I'll definitely come to this place for the next kitchen gadget, even as simple as a knife - it is a please to come to this store.
