Conyers-Rockdale Library System Reviews

Very good library system with a large computer lab and a very nice law library. Close location to downtown Conyers, Georgia. Closed on Sunday. All Children must be accompanied with an adult. Lots of a variety of activities. Large conference room available to rent first come first serve. Study rooms are available by the hour.

I love this library. I did not realize how much i would miss it. At least they are "open" now. Got a call about my hold beiny ready. I also got 1 hour appointment to browse. I got 6 books. Yeah!!!

If their website worked more easily or they were open on Sunday (most people's and my only day off with my son) I'd be rating 5 stars. People are kind and helpful. Space is clean and beautiful.

Nice with private areas all over the library tp accommodate individual and group studying/tutoring. There's conference rooms, computers an Children's section.

Staff always friendly and professional and eager to help you I have a good experience every time I come here.

I mainly use this library for the computer room...This area is usually very clean, neat and the attendants are extremely helpful and knowledgeable( especially Alexis)...My only criticism would be the lack of respect some patrons have for other patrons either taking online exams for school, filling out job applications or making improvements to their resumes...Just recently a parent allowed her small child( 18-24 months) to constantly YELL throughout my 45 minutes of trying to use a computer...Then the woman proceeded to pull out her breast( no blanket, no towel, no nothing) and feed this child!!! I am a mother of FIVE children and would NEVER allow my children to constantly YELL or talk loudly in the library infringing on others and I would have went into the bathroom to breast feed/ respectfully covered up...There is A NO EATING OR DRINKING RULE IN EFFECT, A NO CELL PHONE RULE IN EFFECT, so why not implement something about the noise level of children?

This is a very nice library, but the Internet wi-fi connection is so painfully-slow that it's nearly unusable. 0.29 Mbps download speed and 0.32 Mbps upload speed. That's ridiculous for 2014.

My first visit was impressive. I signed up for a PINES library card to check out books for my college courses. Jan and a couple of other staff members (forgot to get their names) were extremely helpful! Library was in immaculate condition, had everything I needed for class and they were very mindful of keeping health a priority during the time of pandemic.

Great study atmosphere, computers and printers in good repair along with helpful smiling faces. Kid friendly

First time to visit here in order to pick up a library card! I love to read and can spend hours in a library!
Very easy to find using my Google maps! I was really surprised how large the building was and very organized. It wasn't crowded at 10:15 am whenever I visited. I will enjoy going here!

Very disappointed in this library, they should be ashamed. We recently moved to the area and started using this library as our primary. Their system "forgot" to notify us of renewals via email and caused over $30 in fines on our account. When I tried to talk with them about it, the manager flat out said: "We won't do anything at all about it, it isn't our responsibility to tell you when books are due." Really? Wouldn't even reduce the fine a little, which would have been ok but she was extremely rude about it. They then, they sent us a letter stating that if we didn't pay that they would send us to collections... Collections! from a public library! are you kidding me? So we went to pay our fine today, supposed to be $33 and some change. They took our entire $40 in cash and said that the fine went up, but couldn't prove why. Stay clear, use another library or borrow from friends. Isn't worth the hassle and dealing with them.

Have been going here for years. Overall, the staff is very helpful. HOWEVER, the circulation desk should be more mindful of the noise level when talking to patrons. I was practically raised in a library since my parent is a librarian. I could NEVER study here. There is no use of "inside" voices here. The rules are not enforced when patrons answer their cell phones. I've even witnessed someone smoke an Ecigerrette! Really?!

The people are great. The environment is peaceful and the books are always available...or they get them quickly.

I've been going to this library ever since I can remember. I love the environment and the location. I never had any problems with the staff, they are all kind and helpful.

I love this library it was so clean and it's so big a staff member by the name of Lisa helped me and my husband she was extremely helpful more than some of the other libraries I have been in Lisa went beyond the call of duty we will be visiting this library again

Usually as quiet and orderly as it should be...perfect!

I had a wonderful experience today. Everyone was SO nice and pleasant. Ms. Nancy at the front very & helpful.

I have borrowed books and used the computer room. My HOA (River Club) uses the Meeting Room for our yearly meetings. I also take advantage of the free Tax Preparation each year. The Library is in a centrally located section in Conyers. My family and I love this Library.

I think this place is one of my second homes....I reserve a room quite a bit to do work. Sometimes I sit on the balcony and sometimes I sit downstairs in the area where you can eat snacks, etc. The only drawback at times is when people get a little too comfortable and get loud; but overall, it's a great library.

We live in an adjacent county, but we drive to conyers for this library. :) It s quiet but not too quiet. My children are welcomed and encouraged to enjoy all they have to offer.

We ve participated in the summer reading program and often bring a sack lunch. We get some books and head out back to enjoy a beautiful afternoon.

I had an issue accessing an online resource on the libraries site. I was assisted by Ms. Gulley via email.

With her awesome email correspondence, I was able to localize and solve the problem! I also want to thank the IT manager Alex as well.

If I could get that level and quality of help via email, I can only assume that she might pull a rabbit out of a hat had I visited in person!

Even during the Covid-19 shutdown, Ms. Gulley and the team within the Conyers-Rockdale Library system are on top of things!

Great people and good selections of books, DVDs, and audio books. Its a very nice library

I'm impressed with all the students that are in the library on a Saturday morning. May God Bless each of you for putting out such an effort to achieve better and brighter futures.
