Busy station but it closes at midnight. Homeless and other ppl that makes u fee uncomfortable are a serious issue in this place.

One of the largest stations in Europe! Well-stocked at the restaurant level, despite the amount of traffic it always remains at the top for organization and efficiency. Finally access to the tracks is allowed only to holders of regular tickets, at least a "safe" area is created which is not invaded by vendors, etc. etc. Unfortunately, traffic and chaos are at home .. we are in ROME!

can't get assistance as terminal very busy and crowded. Was warned of pickpockets when in station. Information about train departure is not announced/published in English which is not very helpful.

Big train station, easy enough to get around considering the amount of people. Did not eat but there are options if you need to eat something assuming you want to pay extra.

*NOTE: People say to be very watchful for pickpockets, but we never experienced an issue and I would say if you're just mindful with your luggage/wallet, you should have no issue.

The renovation carried out gave a wider sense to this non-Place, the food court on the thematic terrace, the central market and the shops have made this Place more pleasant and livable even in the evening.

Many people ... checks at the entrances .. and temperature measurement with thermo scanner .. at the high speed entrances ... not for regional trains ... employee checks .. most of the arriving and exiting passengers respect the signs and routes ... for others it is clear that they do not understand what is happening to us ...

The train station just like the country itself is one big mess.

Buses don t take cash or credit/debit cards. To buy a ticket you are at the mercy of the vendors who close shop and go home early. It s insane that they don t use vending machines to sell bus tickets.

On the back on my multi-day metro pass it says it has to be stamped to be valid but there is no such devices available as they are in Germany. When I approached a lady working at a subway station, she just pointed at the one of the gates indicating stamping is not required.

I was at the train station buying a train ticket for the airport. There are only three machines near the gates and one of them is out of order. They ticket vending machines are so inconvenient that there are Italians standing around making a living helping confused passengers. There are women standing at the subway ticket vending machines downstairs also, eager to help. I originally thought they were station employees!

While I m writing this, the train conductor checking tickets is giving a lecture to a foreign family with children who got their tickets wrong. It really upset me listening to him berating the family.

Everywhere you go in Rome, you see armed solders and police officers. They are so ubiquitous that seeing them makes me sick. That s not the right way to fight terrorism and common crimes.

Perhaps with more premises / shops open there would be less crowds (and more business / consumption)

The region is dangerous especially after sunset. During the day it is policed. Be careful with pickpockets.

One of the busiest stations in Italy. There is absolutely no routine maintenance and cleaning plan worthy of a capital.

Just stay out of sight. I took a night train to Taormina. At that time, IS was fortunately safe because there were a lot of soldiers near the station due to the threat of European terrorism.

Was there in 2001. Impossible to find info on a train to Assisi. Fortunately found 2 Franciscan priests who told us to take the train to Terni & then to Assisi. Hope they've improved things in these ensuing years.

Understaffed train ticket office. It took approximately 40 minutes for the queue. There are suspicious young men and women "helping" terminal passengers as well as trying to sell tickets, who are probably looking for an optimal time to pick pocket. They obviously didn't work for anyone there or else they would've worn a trenitalia jacket.

Staff were friendly. Although there are ticket machines, it is not very modern to watch tickets manually. The platform is not smoke-free, it is all smoke.

Don't get distracted by the shops and taxi drivers. Watch out for pickpockets! Lots of waiting, take a number of you need service with the ticket agent.

The station is dirty and the services offered are inefficient. All the commercial sector is good!

At the termini station there is no place to sit outside the dock. You have to sit at the bar even on the terrace.

Termini is a metro station in Rome: it is located underground in Piazza dei Cinquecento and is at the intersection of lines A and B.

Very crowded area. Attention! Please keep your money bag, leagues, mobile phone safe! Be attention to local thief gang. Most of them are young people. Please chose official taxi service that is economic (10 as usual) otherwise you have to pay more. Try to buy online metro/bus ticket if you are tourist (online ticket is economic and hazard free). For security and safeness don't worry there are huge security, defense and police service available. It's a useful place to enter in the Rome actually.

I don't recommend to arrive here night time. Plan your trip well so you make sure you arrive here in day light and live as fast as you can.

Never wanna hear anymore tourists referring to Termini as the centre of Rome. Please. it is indeed the central station but the area is quite the opposite of its immediate surroundings, as in squalid and actually pretty dangerous. Watch out from pickpocketers - at all times - also when in a car, especially when in a bus, most likely when they try distracting asking you for whatever.
Concerning the station it is quite a beautiful building with a variety of shops, but most food on sale is crap.
Also, prepare to walk a VERY long distance to reach the tracks when taking a regional train. I remember running for 10+ mins to reach track n. 30 something on more than one occasion. however if you're to take a long distance high speed train, worry not because they usually leave from the very first tracks

Bolshoi station in the center of the capital. There is a bus stop on the square. Buses to any area of the city.

Termini train station is a very busy train station. It is the central connection point via bus and train. I found it very easy to navigate as there is plenty of signage. Additionally, it is very easy to go to Leonardo da Vinci international airport. The cost is 14 euros for a nonstop train ride. The cost for a regular train ticket around Rome one way is $1.50 euros. Be aware of the pickpockets as they hang out around Termini train station and look to steal from tourist. Additionally, only accept help from people who work for termini station. The other "helpers" will try to scam you. There are many taxi drivers just outside the station should you need use of their transport. Overall, I highly recommend this train station.

Very large train station. A lot of shops, rather expensive, but before leaving you can do shopping, e.g. groceries or souvenirs from Rome. Not very clean in front of the station. As befits such a place, it is a magnet for pickpockets and homeless people.

Near the entrance there are some homeless people. Nothing is understood. The only thing that pleased us was the good work of the TIM mobile branch and the presence of police at the station.

Aa a train station and major transportation hub, it should be better than this. Major flaw: touristic information point is buried inside and it' veeeery hard to reach if you exit the gates. Ignore the shops and the snack bars, leave this place and enjoy the city, there's nothing to do here :)

The station is big, you have to be careful, as in any place with a large influx of people. Departures and arrivals screens, well informed. Everything is well signposted, what is a bit neglected and dirty are the surroundings of the station.

Buses Terravision! Do not use this lousy service. When we arrived at the bus stop in Fumicino, a girl from Terra Vision told us that the next bus had broken down and that the next bus would arrive in more than 1 hour, and then via web we requested the return. We had to buy other tickets with another company (tram) for 21. Now we ask for a refund of 15 and they say no. How unfortunate they are. They do not comply with what is written in the guarantee or with what their own employee promises. Thieves!

It's not the fanciest station, but the food is great, and the signs are always informative. Compared to what I'm used to in the United States, it's remarkable how efficient everything is. There are a lot of people moving in and out of various trains, but there's almost never any confusion.

Many nice shops inside and a famous culinary corner with typical italian products that has recently opened, but some cons too: (i) long queues for taxi; (ii) plenty of homeless people, especially on the west wing of the station; (iii) a bit shallow architecture specially as concerns the exteriors; (iv) bad organisation of platforms: good luck of your train is on track 25 for instance.. 1 km walk from the main entrance :)
