Now I know why trash collecting is a good business to be in to make good money. The only customer service the customer gets is the trash pickup! No clean can when you move in. If the can was dirty when you move in, you must clean out some one else's dirt . I have something fuzzy and smelly in the bottom of the can. I think everyone should get a clean can every 3 years on a rotating basis.
Very poor customer service. No communication with customers as far as mail or anything like that. Inconsistent pickup times.
After getting a busy signal for nearly an hour, I was finally able to get through, to the rude staff, only to be placed on hold without warning. Easily some of the worst customer service I have dealt with in quite a while and that's really saying something.
If you have different options, use them.
I spoke to three different ladies in the scheduling office. All were very rude and not willing to help me out in any way. They were unprofessional and not caring to their customers needs! These county workers think they are doing us a service by coming to.work everyday, when we pay their paychecks!
Most of the time our garbage is picked up just fine... most of the time, but then there are hot days when the truck's pincers squash the plastic can and little garbage is removed. And... today, for no reason, with our bill paid in advance by yet another month, our garbage was NOT picked up. And the office staff is baffled-dumb and has to wait another day to reckon out why our garbage was not attended to. And when I phoned, the lady said that I must wait until tomorrow, after she looks at the "route sheets," to learn why I had no garbage pick-up today. And when I remarked at the occasional poor service, the lady said that I am free to take care of my own garbage. Consolidated Disposal Services apparently does not care about its social responsibility or in satisfactorily servicing paid-up customers.
Ephrata office is the WORST customer service. Try to be nice just ask a few questions and they HANG UP on you. Will NOT be doing business, and DO NOT recommend. Just.. yuck.
Terrible customer service I was on the phone trying to resolve an issue an have a better understanding of the problem when the OFFICE MANAGER with an attitude abruptly ended our call. I will see about taking my business else where maybe to someone who doesn t get upset with customers when talking about these sorts of things.

In May of 2018, Consolidated Disposal Services damaged our neighbor's mailbox and post as well as our mailbox and post. After numerous calls, someome finally came out to confirm, and said it was their fault. They assured us they would be replacing everything but have yet to do anything about it!
Shake my head! Where to start?? Well first I was passing one of these trucks yesterday and after I was already in front of the truck he decided to turn left right into the bed of my truck cuasing me to loose control and roll my vehicle!! Funny thing is instead of seeing if I'm alright hes on the phone with his boss! Not the emergency services!! After I was able to "pull my self" out of the carnage he came up asked if I was ok and said this sucks and that this was the second time hes hit someone like this!! Needless to say thank God for photographic proof!! Everyone please watch these trucks lord knows the kids driving them are not paying attention!!
Didn't bother to pick up the garbage on the scheduled day. When we called they hung up on us. They are in the garbage business for a reason, they are garbage.
Needed a dumpster, or dropbox delivered to my dad's house in Moses Lake. The staff at the Ephrata office was helpful. But there was a 2 week wait to get one delivered. Also they needed me to either drive to Ephrata to fill out paperwork or mail it in. Final nail was they only take cash, check or money order.
Great people, every time I call they are super nice and helpful.
They leave our can half full most of the time, or its tipped over in the way, and numerous times dumped our garbage all over the place in the aly way and don't bother to pick it up. Like what are you getting paid for? Do the job right.
At least once a month they leave my can half full still. I dont know what im doing wrong. I just know i am backed up on garbage and will probably have to take it in myself and get charged for that too. The first time this happened i called and they told me i could put 2 bags out with my garbage the following week. I did and they charged my extra for the 2 bags. Dont want to deal with this anymore.
My trash was not picked up which is not a big deal so I call to inquire about the issue. When I talk to the office staff they give nothing but hollow excuses. They do everything but call me a lier. "The driver marked on their paperwork that he did the pickup." This is either an honest mistake or a blatant lie on his part. The office staff then proceeds to get an attitude which is not good service. It is disrespectful for a business to not provide the service they are paid to do then when confronted about it to act like this. It's too bad there are no better options in this market because if they had competition in the market they would be forced to become a better business. As it stands they have horrible customer service and possibly dishonest personnel. It's just too bad.
They are the worest costumer service I have ever delt with. They are disorganized in their paperwork. I tried to change our information multiple times. Never got it right. Are totally argumentive and have no desire to help. Just a bad business with bad people.
Terrible staff attitudes. They also delivered a garbage can and charged me an additional fee that was never agreed to.
