Connecticut Convention Center Review

Went there for Hartford Boat Show. Admission and parking much cheaper than Providence. Nice building

Went to the CT Flower and Garden Show, there were so many vendors, excellent landscaping designs and they had a variety of speakers sharing their knowledge on a number of topics.

*This rating is from a booth holders perspective not general attendees*. The convention center building and facilities are absolutely amazing however in the last five years each show has had less and less people attending. This past year attendance at a point where it is not even worth it for us to have a booth. On top of that it costs at least twice the price to get a display in other convention shows. That's not even including how they tack on charges to every amenity you would need as a booth holder. To simply have a power outlet at your booth it is $100+. The rates to use there wifi the data rates are crazy

Was here as a tattoo artist for the Tommy's tattoo convention and it's an awesome setup. Would reccomend to anyone and everyone who is into tattoos, piercings, or art in general.

Great new facility in a state that's making a comeback

Went for the RV camper show. Charged 12 bucks to get in then charged $7 to park.

Nice space for events, unfortunately the one we attended wasn't that great. Not the center's fault though. Lots of parking and escalators everywhere

Great place for a convention. Parking is a bit much though.

Went for the Stitches United Event and the facility was clean and well organized. Water provided in each classroom was amazing and considerate. There was also a golf expo and there was no confusion between the two events.

I didn't use the restrooms in the main facility near the food after my mom came out and told me that there were air fresheners in each stall when she stood up. As an asthmatic I didn't want to risk it and just used the faculties up stairs which didn't have the function or the hotels next door.

Went there for the stitches event. Easy to find. Clean bathrooms

Vended Stitches United. This convention center made it easy.

The contractor Nation convention was held here. I had an absolute blast there. The food was great. And the space for the classes and entertainment were spacious.

It was enjoyable. The vendors were very friendly. The food vendors couldd be better. The wine pour was generous though.

Always a great experience. Clean professional and safe.

You have to pay for parking, the only downer. Staff was friendly and everywhere to answer questions and guide you. The garden and flower show was so beautiful. I just wanted to live in the displays. Prices where a bit high. Lots of food to be had.

Over priced and over cooked food. Small sodas and very high priced. While it's nice that we have it, I wouldn't eat or drink there again.

Attended a convention at this location, and while the convention itself was not very good I was still impressed by the scale of the convention hall. This location is rather big, and had quite a few levels. During the time of my convention there were 2 other smaller conventions also being held in the same building.

This location is very easy to get too right off of Interstate 91, and has plenty of parking on location which was very affordable. Did not get a chance to explore the area around the convention hall, but as you are in downtown I would assume there are plenty of off site eating locations if you are attending a multi day convention.

Spacious convention center for very many events and happenings. Such as college fairs business conventions or even large groups looking for an event space. However, the security and staff at the Connecticut Convention Center are very rude, not personable or helpful at all. Interactions with staff and security may be volatile, proceed with caution when attending an event here, however most events are in good taste and feel great at the CCC.

New carpet is neat, New box office. Climate control works well. Plenty of space for panels/break-outs, and exhibits.

Generally a good convention centre. Centrally located, plenty of parking if you need it. My only gripe was no changing table in the men's room; it's the 21st century people.

Very spacious to hole different events at the same time

The dinosaurs event was over priced for what it was exhibiting. Family of 4 cost 105.00 for admission. I had a 6 yr.and 7 yr. old and they were not impressed.

Great facility for the conference I attended (AAIDD). The food was good and the people were helpful and friendly.

Nice, big space. The little concession stand has really good food. Bathrooms have plenty of stalls, and are very clean!

Great place, wonderful staff, and beautiful architecture. A ton of restaurants near by withing walking distance.

I typically go here for ConnectiCon each summer. I love the layout and accessibility of the convention center, it's open and easier to navigate than some other large cons. I'll often be going through a comic or anime con and look at the parts of their layout that could be even better if they arranged it the way the CT Convention Center does.

I love how easy it is to get to, easy to park, and it's close to the River.

I went to the Pet Expo for the AKC meet and greet. We had a nice time with our dog and the people in attendance were nice. I thought the staff was helpful as well. The reason for the 3 star is that air units were pumping freshner out of the overhead blowers which was overpowering and really made me nousious.

Decent facility. Overpriced food and very long walk from parking garage but it's all inside the same building.

Store is so beautiful and big we have a lot of happy day me and my girl had fun

Great location on the river and the center has very open layout with plenty of natural light.

The center itself was nice but local food options are poor and the convention center food was more overpriced than most.

Attended the flower show it was great a lot of good ideas. I liked connecting with others during rest times. Lots of walking. Very diverse items for sale

I attended the North American Handmade Bike Show at the convention center, it was well laid out, it had everything you could want and the staff was very nice. It made for an enjoyable event. Good job everyone.

Vast venue, adjacent to a hotel, many local eateries to indulge your gastronomical palette.

Attended the ConnectiCon convent here and it was clean and well organized.

While my opinion may be bias due to the quality of the conventions I have attended here, I highly recommend the Convention center. Clean, comfortable, and spacious.

Great venue for medium to large conferences and expos. Flexible space and large parking garage convenient to I-91 snd I-84 in Hartford.
