I came and made an application and noticed the wnvironment is bery friendly and cozy. They go outta thier way to make and help you get the job. The staff amd co workers are very friendly and you can dress very comfortably too! The atmosphere is calm and you get ur little space to decorate as you want! I hope and pray i get this job! By the way...they do compensate you very well and they have benefits too!

Working here is really not that bad I worked for the service department. Management was all over the place then they got fired I was confused because my manager kept saying they are changing shifts so I just ended up quitting good hours and overtime delivery was fun would love to go back but I need a set schedule. The company is head in a better direction I believe.
When the dual ovens on my 6-month old range quit working, I had to take a day off work because service does not schedule by time block - just by day. Okay. Then the repairman - after calling his supervisor multiple times - reprogrammed the ovens and said that he thought the motherboard was going out but could not replace it until it had gone out twice. Well, it's out again and I have to wait A WEEK because it is finals week at school and I can't/won't take off an entire day for a 2-hour block. Nor will I EVER buy from CONN'S again. Nor will I not warn others of the service policies that put the customer 2nd to corporate saving money and discriminate against those who work. (I would put ZERO stars - but it won't let me!)
Place used to be great to work for, however that changed. They got one Manger that is extremely toxic. But there is some truly wonderful people that work here. I hope it gets better for them. Profits before people.
I wish I can give these people a big HUGE 0 star. Messed up with my order from the beginning. I was super happy of getting my washer and dryer today. I got a call Sunday night confirming that my stuff should be dilevered between 12:30pm and 3:30pm. I spoke to a live person! And as well I got an email confirming the same time and that I would get a 30 min call before the driver showed up. Here we are Monday I made arrangements to have someo wait the long 3 hours, I get a call at 11:50 that no one was home! Well duh! It s is not 12:30!!!!!! Of coarse it was an automated message stating that, but the time I got a live person they drivers were gone since they can only wait 15 minutes. SOMEONE SOME WHERE MESSED UP. The person I was taking to was BLAMMING ME for not be home. I was going back and forth with this person with no results. They last thing they told me they would reach out to dispatch to see if the drivers can come back they would call me in a couple minutes. I get the cal the te me they can t go back. So I told they have have 3 options one come back today because you screwed up come back tomorrow morning with my stuff or 3 keep your stuff and give me my money back. At this point she was arguing with me I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. I was transferred to Brandi who clearly needs to work on her customer service skills. Then again here we go blaming me because I MISSED MY APPOINTMENT! After multiple attempts I told her that she as a supervisor needs to go listen to the calls that they say are recorded and then tell me who is lying. She told me that she would call me in an hour. Fast forward 3 hours later no call, so I reached out. They told me that she was pulled into a meeting and that is why she did not call me back. Then literally 2 seconds later she calls me back hmmm her meeting must have just ended. She told me yes you were right I heard the call we gave you the wrong time, and clearly emailed me the wrong time. She told me there was nothing that she can do but to try to get them to come back today. And as for compensation of my time they only thing she could do is give me the delivery for free. FIRST OF ALL THAT WAS ALREADY FREE, so that s not going to work!
She said that we can get you on for tomorrow, I called 5 times and all 5 times they told me yes you are in the schedule for tomorrow. You WILL receive a call around 8:30 pm and and email of the scheduled time. Fast forward here we are 9:45 pm no call or email. I called AGAIN, for the 50th time. I spoke to someone and guess WHAT!!!!??????? I AM NOT SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW!!!!!!!!! Why in the world do they lie!!!!??? Why can they be straight up and say we messed up! We crewed up we suck at what we do? It does not make sense! Now they are telling that HOPEFULLY they can get someone out by WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!!!
YOU CAN KEEP THE STUFF I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW!!!!!!! Horrible experience!!! I WANT A CALL FROM A MANAGER THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING OR THE CEO OR THE BRANCH MANAGER TO CALL ME AND TELL ME WHY I DINT HAVE MY STUFF!!!??? And in addition so you say your calls are recorded listen to every single call I made today and how every single person LIED TO ME!!! Please everyone save your self this head ache don t get anything from them!!!!!!!
As a former employee for 2 years doing collections here at conns home plus, I would never recommend working for or with these people. In the beginning it seemed decent. Than my second year in the last 6 months was a living hell to say the least. From the company not being run professionally, to emotional and verbal abuse from upper management not being taken seriously, even after the fact, two former employees who were let go after they were physically attacked by a senior manager who still works there. The new senior "Carolyn" there was so rude, cursed at her employees than would come apologize to avoid any reports made against her. She bullied me in the meeting room in front of my colleagues and manager, for being asked why I was shaking my head after she was very rude to my awesome manager. It was unprofessional of the senior to discredit my manager and bully all the under management and agents. She then yelled at me and stood up out of her chair, almost as if she was going to push ally attack me, I had at least 3 people on me team come up to me after to ask if I was okay cause they thought she was going to physically hurt me. Then the next work day I had she had pushed my head to my computer screen in passing and said " look at your paycheck!" And walked away. So I had reported her to HR and nothing was done for my being bombarded in the work place. I was called into my Senior managers caorolyns bosses office named Randy, they were trying to write me up for insubordination, for the confrence room incident. When I asked about how she was treating me yelling and cursing and acting as if she were going to attack me, he said that wasn't important and just to focus on me. I refused the write up and quit. If him choosing to only listen to her (someone he just hired his self out side of conns) and refuse to address her attacks against me isn't favoritism than I don't know what is. Conns is the worst company I have ever worked for. I will never goto a store, nor will I ever forget how horrible I was treated there.
Worst call center ever. Unprofessional, they forgot to ask for my phone number after rescheduling and made up a phone number. I never got to confirm my delivery and it had to pushed back another day after waiting 10 days
These people are not very customer service oriented. I have a dryer that is on 4th service call in the 5 months I have had it. I was speaking to rep and I was telling her as much as it cost I feel like I should get a new one. She tells me not to speak to her like that and I wasn t cussing or being rude. But at that point I told her how rude and what a b**ch I could be. Then she proceeds to tell me to do a voluntary repo if I wanted an new. REALLY why would I hurt my credit that way? And what a stupid thing for her to say. Then I ask for a supervisor she transferred me to some one names Jessica it went to voicemail. Well for 3 days it has gone to vm and for 3 days I have left a message. And NOT ONE TIME HAS she called me back. What kind of supervisor is she? She is not a good one and apparently not will to help customers with their issues. DO NOT BUY FROM CONN S their customer service suck
Decent Pay , a decent hours . But not a place to go if you wanting to get your foot in the door as a collections agent San Antonio has way better jobs that pay more and respect their staff . If you want to be belittled , picked on , lied on and in and out the human resources office for meetings with your manger every week then this is the job for you . The mangers , And other staff have no Respect for their agents , they never fully investigate anything if you ask , they don t provide you with a human resources number or any other correctives you ask for , and if you ask for them you will be terminated ! And threatened by the director of the collections department . I ve asked several times for not only information , things to be investigated . Your told not to use your phone where carpet is at in the building and get fired for being on your phone up front in the lobby . Many manners braking rules , talking to agents any kind of way , bed bugs out breaks Several times .
Decent pay but not worth not only the stress but the bullying from not only managers but HR aswell! Must a mention favoritism at its finest? I made a handful of friendships here but if you want to look into collections trust me this is not the place to pursue that goal. I'm so glad I gave this place the middle finger.
One of their agents called my business phone and before I could tell him he had the wrong number he launches into a speech about payments and past due balances...I said "Whoa. I think you have the wrong number." and he was like "You said you were the person I was calling for." I'm like "Nope, I just said Hello." He cursed at me and hung up. I think his name was Dominic. Not that Conn's cares at all. They don't even manage this listing. They have a predatory business model so it doesn't change my opinion of this company either way.
This place is the worst to work at! The people in the highest positions have the worst attitudes! The Human resource is terrible Mina is so unprofessional! And the senior manager Claudia Mitchell is also terrible! If you call them out on something they take offense to it and instead of doing there job they target employees! To be told that I was a target because I spoke up for certain situations is wrong! But one thing is for sure everybody has a boss and this will be reported! Don t waste your time filling out the app for this job! They will tell you one thing and do another!
Not a great company. I hate to bash this company. But after I had a passing in my family, I was told that I would still have my job so I could take my days off. When I came back, I was fired. I lost someone dear to me then I get fired. Worst place to work.
