We are in the wine club..love going here..great wine and music
The winery and venue were great. Unfortunately unruly drunks in the audience ruined the evening. Security very visible until later in the evening and the brawl that almost resulted should have been obvious. Disappointed. It was great to see Steve Miller Band and really liked Marty Stuart. Too bad about the idiots that ruined the evening for a number of people.
So gorgeous, plenty of space, and free winery tours!!
Very good wine making tours and a great place for a picnic
Decent concert venue as long as the weather is comfortable
Beautiful property. Free tour of the production that is done on premises with a tasting of three of their current wines. Also offer tastings of Col Solare wines.
Highly recommend the complimentary tour, 30 minutes with 3 wine tastings - we left with a bottle!
Love, love, love this winery! We have been Heritage Members for a couple years. If you're looking for a fun wine tour or just want to try a local WA winery, look no further. Each quarter you're able to taste new releases.
Throughout the month there are multiple events for members and the public to attend. Great place to enjoy fine wine, music and friends.
Was there for a private party, and was amazed at the attention they gave us. I will look to have future events there
Been a member here for about a year. It's always a great time. Grounds are beautiful, wine is great. It s usually pretty busy on weekends and sunny days, so if ever possible try going on weekdays for a quieter crowd. Just know they close early.
A stunning winery with delicious wines! Our tour guide was friendly and helpful. In the tasting area, they have beautiful decor and great seating... the live peacocks were a fun surprise! We'll definitely be coming back when we're in the area.
Went to see "Earth Wind and Fire". We had so much fun!
Some of the best wines in the world! Definitely some of the best wines in Washington!
Beautiful winery! Enjoyed some great wine in such a great setting!
Saw Chicago play here, beautiful venue and so much fun!
I ve been a member at CSM for some number of years now. It s been so long that when my husband and I first started going to their events, it was clear we were some of the youngest members there, now... we re not so young now lol. But we still love coming to Chateau because the wine is good, the buildings are nice and updated, the grounds are beautiful and so much more. There are so many different areas to taste wine, an area to shop, go on a winery tour and, again, so much more. And seeing a summer concert here is awesome! Drinking wine in the sun with some good music - how do you beat that?!
One of my favorite Woodinville destinations. Wine, music and a great social atmosphere.
I really liked Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. I've been to Napa, Sonoma County, and Temecula (all in CA) and this winery is definitely on par with all of the above. The landscape and scenery was exceptionally beautiful and they offer free tours! I'm used to $20 wine tastings in Napa and to see the same number of tastings for half the price, I was blown away. Be careful though, this place always seems to be busy, especially at the bar. Trying to find a spot to squeeze in for some tastings was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. And once you find that spot, you better cling to it like glue! We had a larger party which made it a bit difficult, but eventually we found a spot to order. They have three sets of tastings - the regular tasting (consisting of white and red wine - you pick 4), the Riesling tasting (you choose 5 Rieslings - which I heard they're more well known for), or the Estate tasting ($15 instead of $10 for their premium wine selection - 4 tastings). I went with the regular tastings to see what they had to offer and I tried one white (can't remember the name of) and three reds (cineast, grenache, and ethos cabernet). I absolutely loved the grenache and the ethos cabernet. I'm not wine connoisseur but the grenache in particular had a very fruity taste which I adored. I hope to come back to Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery again soon!
Beware, this is not an actual winery. This is a venue place that maybe used to be a winery 50 years ago. Now you can enjoy reserve premium luxury experience there with overpriced wines of mediocre quality.
Nice for concerts and an attractive established setting, the only thing that didn't appeal to me personally was the overcrowded, noisy, commercialized mall like atmosphere.
It's not really what I would call a tourist district it's more of a huge selection of wineries crammed into a very small area with a pizza place and a couple other reatraunts and very little parking
Great new wing of chateau shows off new tasting rooms sponsored by fellow companies and fun wine and swag marketplace to buy everything that is St. Michelle. Large wine bar for wine passport members worked well and employees were knowledgeable about wine they were pouring in flight. Liked the small cards given to tally your pours so you can walk around and peruse the whole area and the information walls of the history at St. Michelle while drinking. Wine trinkets expensive but wine reasonably priced. Respectful and kind employees wherever we went. Overall fun experience!
Gorgeous winery that looks even more beautiful all decorated for the holidays. The tour is very informative (I ve managed to do it three times now), and the wines themselves are really nice. Overall my favorite winery in the area, and I love the improvements they ve made in the last few years to the place.
Summer shows are so fun. Indian food booth is awesome.... love this place. Chardonnay is the best !
This place after remodel look very nice, I like it.
Beautiful and full of things to do. I will definitely be returning for the concerts and other tours (there area number of them). Missed a star only because the main tasting room's selection for tasting was rather mediocre.
I was actually there for a concert or the first time and found it easy to navigate. Chairs aren't necessary, but might be more comfortable.
Love the ambiance, love the wine, love the concerts, love the setting.
Awesome place. One of the biggest wine producers in Washington state
Best wine in the Pacific Northwest. Holds its own with California wines and superior to Australian / New Zealand wines.
Nice atmosphere. If you are there with a friend, try both the reds and the whites. 10 glasses for $20.
Attended a wedding here and it was beautiful. The grounds and staff were great
Great venue for concert and drinking great wine on the lawn. Perfect summer evening with my daughter!
Beautiful place. A coworker rented it out for a Valentine's party. It was beautiful, but a little bit difficult to navigate without someone ahead of us to get to the party rooms. Other than that this was a lovely night at lovely location!
Rainy Saturday, very crowded. Plan another visit during the week in order to be able to approach the crowded tasting tables.
Very impressive. Did the free tour. Beautiful grounds. Extremely nice staff. Free wine tasting but have always enjoyed their wines
We had an amazing wine tasting experience here. The tour was phenomenal
Beautiful place and Teatro Zinzanni is there! It is a must visit!
B. E. A. UUUUU-TI-FUULLLLL!!!! A must to do/see when in Seattle. Make sure you make reservations (due to COVID19)
It's a popular brand so the place was packed. It felt very touristy more than people actually going to taste good wine. The service was not too attentive- although I cant blame them since so many people were there.
Great winery, great staff, super reasonable pricing, highly recommend to visit
Like it fancy but I guess it's for snobby people. I'm not the crowd over there
The must see and do if visiting the Seattle area. Absolutely wonderful...take the tour!
Chateau Ste Michelle is a must see....beautiful grounds and good wine
A bit too "corporate" compared to others in the region.
Friendly staff, great selection of wine, and family friendly.
A lovely winery housed on the grounds of a Disney like chateau with some tasty wine. I wish they told us the free tour included a tasting because while waiting for the tour to start, we did a five wine tasting then got three more glasses after the tour. The site is very picturesque and romantic though a bit pretentious considering the fairly modern construction. The wine was good, but much heavier on the sweet whites than full bodied reds. The whites were a nice German Mosel style with several rieslings and Gewurtztraminers. The Reds were largely younger reds like Pinot and Merlot. All tasty, but more of a picnic vibe than a strong fortifying meal pairing.
This is one of my favorite places to go in WA with my husband. French countryside in the Evergreen State.
This winery is definitely the best place you can go in Woodinville. Feels like a bite of France here is the US. There is no way it can be more spectacular, very scenic, warming, a most go if you are around. Parking is really extensive so don't worry about it. Just enjoy this magical place because totally worth!
Fun place lots of people, lots of wine... What's not to like?
Went for the TEDx Seattle Women conference. Nice venue great food and, of course, wine...
Beautiful winery, charming place. Summer concerts are Great.
Amazing service and tour, even though they push through hundreds of people a day. The wines are also fantastic!
Geat wine and Great service! The people that work there help me with all my wine needs. The food is very good!
This concert is not about the head banging music playing before the concert! Absolutely poor taste
Sipping wine watching a concert. Saw Ringo Starr in concert there. Awesome! Bring your beach chair, buy a bottle or two of wine, and sit back and watch a great show outside. There's also plenty of food if your hungry. Much fun, can't wait to go back.
5 tasting for $15, totally worth it... but what s worth it is the free tour which comes with three free tasting. Yum! And generous. I love their Cabernet sauvignons. Really good. You can get their more affordable wine options at any grocery store. We wanted to get some but we didn t have space in our luggage. They have many different tasting rooms. Their outdoor space/grounds is very big and nice. Walk around and explore.
FABULOUS new variety of tasting room opportunities to experience many excellent wines in a very cordial atmosphere.
NOTE: I was contacted by Kati yesterday from Chateau St Michelle regarding my conserns below. She was very understanding and listened attentively. She ensured me that the winery will do its best to resolve these issues. I very much look forward to seeing those results.
I love the setting and beauty of this winery. However, the management of the crowds for their concert series is horrible! New metal detectors were installed for crowd safety which is awesome but the lines were understaffed and mixed messages were given to concert goers as to which line to stand in. It took a full 2 hours to get into the venue. At the main entrance, they had ONLY ONE person checking the coolers for an expected audience attendance of 4,500 people!! Needless to say, people in line were getting angry and highly frustrated. They need to fix this soon because spending this much money for a frustrating experience is intolerable.
Best place for a show great venue acoustics and wine
