I really liked Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. I've been to Napa, Sonoma County, and Temecula (all in CA) and this winery is definitely on par with all of the above. The landscape and scenery was exceptionally beautiful and they offer free tours! I'm used to $20 wine tastings in Napa and to see the same number of tastings for half the price, I was blown away. Be careful though, this place always seems to be busy, especially at the bar. Trying to find a spot to squeeze in for some tastings was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. And once you find that spot, you better cling to it like glue! We had a larger party which made it a bit difficult, but eventually we found a spot to order. They have three sets of tastings - the regular tasting (consisting of white and red wine - you pick 4), the Riesling tasting (you choose 5 Rieslings - which I heard they're more well known for), or the Estate tasting ($15 instead of $10 for their premium wine selection - 4 tastings). I went with the regular tastings to see what they had to offer and I tried one white (can't remember the name of) and three reds (cineast, grenache, and ethos cabernet). I absolutely loved the grenache and the ethos cabernet. I'm not wine connoisseur but the grenache in particular had a very fruity taste which I adored. I hope to come back to Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery again soon!
