You will never see rare, expensive cars like this at any run-of-the-mill car show. Rare Alfas, Ferraris, Lambos, Maseratis real GT-40's etc...there was a spectacular Mangusta, Dino 246 - not one but two Chrysler concept cars (the Diablo and the Plymouth XNR) - simply put, no car show can compete with the Concours D'Elegance of America.
This was my first year attending the event. Shuttle bus service to the event was excellent, no waiting there. The vehicles on display were quite remarkable and wonderful to observe. My only disappointment was in the fact that there was not enough public seating. For example, there was a food tent offering what looked to be most delicious food items to buy and after buying people had to sit on the ground to enjoy it. Not fun for the diners nor the people who had heat sensitivities, young or old alike.
An Exclusive Show.. no I didn't go Gaga over GM's last breathe in the USA.. I heard that the 2020 Corvette was on display. Amazing that GM is crawling into bed with China.. Good Day GM.
Cars were amazing and everything else was fantastic. Except for the shuttles. No communication what so ever. Loads of waiting and wrong buses
