The guys are very polite and professional. It's more than just an oil change . They check all the other fluids and filters. And recommend other issues that need to be taken care of.

I have written reviews for Conant Automotive before, but I wanted to dive in here once more. I recently had an estimate by a dealership that blew my mind. I took it to Conant, had them verify the items and then quote a price to repair, which included a few more goodies, and that price was 40%, yes 40% lower than the dealership price. From Brandon, the service rep, to their service techs to Joe, the owner, this place is THE BEST place to take your vehicle. Their attention to detail every time -- not to mention that they make sure I have a loaner vehicle each time -- is beyond compare. I remain a lifetime fan of Conant Automotive!

Friendly, Courteous and timely. Never had a problem with quality of work. Put it to you this way...they're booked out 2-3 days for oil change and tire rotation. They are closed on weekends and that sucks but it's a good thing because as the sign on the door says " Family Time " is how weekends should be spent.

They made it so easy. I called they got me in and it was done fast. Always great service and with great understanding.

I will never return, it felt like I was lied to. The front wheel bearings weren t coming apart like I was told by Brandon. I told him that the rear brakes needed work. The whole process seemed shady, to the guy without the mask on when I dropped off the truck. If I could it would be negative stars

I have a 2008 Chevy Malibu. I was charged $52 for an oil change. I've never paid over $40 for one at other places. Definitely won't be coming back here again for any work!

Robbery I Do Not Recommend!
I made an appointment for an oil change and I was told the oil change would be $50 because of the make of my car. The oil change took more than 45 minutes and cost $80. The fellow at the desk told me that the quote on the phone hadn't included oil disposal!
Then they estimated (and STRONG ARMED) a gigantic list of repairs that are not needed for 800 dollars!
I will not be back.

Conant Automotive was the most compassionate and understanding car repair business I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. Car died in the Culver s drive thru of all places one weekend. Had it towed to Conant. They figured out I just needed a new battery. Replaced it same day, took literally one minute to pick up my car and take it back home. Easy and professional.

Excellent Service! Excellent Communication! I live an 1 1/2 hours away from Stoughton. Was passing through town on Sunday and vehicle started making a very loud grinding noise in the rear. Was able to get to Conant, filled out their service ticket and left my keys in the drop box. Had an email at 6:57am the next morning that they had checked in the vehicle. Received a phone call by 9am with diagnosis and different options to fit my budget. Vehicle was ready to go by noon the next day. I felt they were very transparent, not pushy and appreciated them giving me options and fully explaining the pros and cons of each option. Highly recommend this place and if I lived closer I would use their services all the time!

The team at Conant have always been very easy to work with. They give you an honest assessment with options. They've provided me with a loaner car in the past and have even dropped me off at home. The waiting area has a nice raised table to get work done on a laptop and a free wifi network is available to customers. Couldn't recommend them more. Go visit Joe Conant and his team even if it's just for an oil change.

On July 24/18 we called Conant. They had done some tire work on our daughter's van a week prior. Our daughter wanted to add new wheels and one of them would not budge. Her dad couldn't loosen either. I don't know much about cars but they both told me that they had been put on too tightly by Conant.
So we called and spoke to Todd, explaining that our daughter was only in town for a day and needed her van to get to work. The response?
1. No way they put them on too tight, they don't ever do that.
2. Even if they did, they would not fix it.
3. Even if they agreed to fix it, they could not do it that day, no way no how.
4. Todd said "maybe" the next day, he would have to call us back.

After that we called around to other shops, as it truly needed to be fixed asap. Everyone was very busy that day, but Melton Service in Stoughton, who we had never used before, said to bring it over. They even were able to put a new serpentine belt on. We appreciated them so much.

Oh, and guess who NEVER called back? Conant. So done with them.

Our family won't go anywhere else. Conants is the best.

I have a company with 10 vehicles and I had taken my vehicles there a few year back and then due to close proximity to my shop in Madison I started going to another place the last few years. Last year I purchased a work truck with a rebuilt engine. It started running horrible shortly after I bought it . I had 4 different people work on it and ended up throwing thousands into it and it always ran like garbage. I was ready to virtually give it away this spring just to get it out of my hair and an employee asked if I had tried Connant. I called and explained everything and took it in. Next day ..... truck done. 97 bucks. Has ran perfectly since. Guess what...all my stuff is going to Connant again. Another example of honesty. I took another vehicle there that would not shift out of 3rd gear or get over 45 mph. I was ready to shell out thousands on a transmission. They could have said yep it's your transmission and I would not have known any different. Instead is was a relatively quick and easy fix that was found and fixed right away. Total honesty.I pride my business on complete honesty and respect to the customers and I can tell you without a doubt these guys are the real deal. Trust is HUGE when it comes to any kind of service work from your car to your house and when you find a trustworthy provider of that service it is invaluable. I HIGHLY Highly Recommend them and trust them.

I have been using them for years rather than heading out of town to get dealer service.
So when my Kia broke a ball joint and I needed it towed I had it dragged over to Conant.
Expecting a hefty bill I was surprised when they called to let me know it was covered under warranty. I had forgotten they had fixed it before. Not mfg watany, but their warranty.

Huge props to Conant Automotive. I had called them yesterday afternoon, and Joe(Owner) answered the phone, I explained the problem, and he asked that I call back in the morning and he would send a tech out to my place(only happened with a cold start) or he himself would come out the house. Called this morning and he sent a tech out, we found the problem, and said it would be an easy fix and take it to the shop and they would fix it. Amazing garage take no replacements, I had a 1999 Buick Century with the window wipers not working took it in to see if I could get them fixed, the guy I talk to at the desk runs outside with a wrench, pops my hood, and says he knows what the problem is already just from hearing about it. He tightens both bolts on the outside, runs the wipers, and boom good as new. I ask him what I owe him and he says absolutely nothing. Not a lot of times you'll find good guys when the fix is simple they don't try and shank you for money. I know this is where I will be going in Stoughton for all my needs. Thanks Conant.

Extremely friendly, accommodating & professional. They worked on an older vehicle that can sometimes be tricky and handled everything perfectly. The communication is unbelievable and the convenience of after hours drop off/pickup + vehicle delivery made things super easy.

I've taken both my vehicles here a couple of times. I'm a DIY guy, but with their prices and quality of service it doesn't pay to do it yourself. I would give them 6 stars of I could.

This company has done everything right by me. If they told me I could fix my car by spinning in a circle and touching my nose, I would have to do it, because they have always told me the truth.

My anti-lock braking system was malfunctioning on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe and needed repair. Conant Automotive had the problem analyzed quickly and repairs handled the next day. The technicians and front office staff were very helpful in explaining what went wrong and showed me the broken parts to point out where they had broken. This was a lot of work to repair and the rate charged was very reasonable. When I picked up my car, I was treated like the most important customer of the day. This is why I ve been going to Conant for more than 10 years for repairs. No one else touches my cars!

I have brought both my autos to Conant in the past 5 years; there are several important reasons for doing this. 1.
They listen to the customer and explains the possibility of what is wrong. They also will discuss future maintenance "fixes" but do not pressure you to get it done immediately.. Conant has always been courteous, professional and customer oriented..thats why they are successful..

Conant did an amazing job! They picked my car up at my house and when it was done bright it back for. During these safer at home times and having 3 young children it was a huge benefit to have them pick up and drop my car off.

Dropped ny car off at 7AM for on oil change and tire rotation. Was promised my car back by 1PM. Received a call at 820AM that my car was ready. Outstanding service. Highly recommend.
