Took my car in for service for the first time. There was a misunderstanding, but we got it all worked out. Joe is probably one of the nicest, most humble Man I have ever met. He defiantly went above and beyond for me. I got my car back running wonderfully! I would absolutely recommend them!

I have been doing business with Conant Automotive since Joe opened his doors. They are a trustworthy, courteous, fair and caring group. I have always felt important, and that is a rare quality for a customer to feel from their mechanic. I won't have work done anywhere else! I very much appreciate the fact that Joe and his shop reinvest in our community. Little league teams in the area benefit from Joe s support. High schoolers can enroll in an apprenticeship that Joe has set up to get them started in a lucrative career in auto repair. Supporting Joe s family orientated business helps support our community.

If I needed work done on my car this is where I'd have it done. My husband is a mechanic; but should anything happen that he could not work on my car Conant Automotive is where he has directed me to go! (That is why I rate 5-stars) If you are from Stoughton you will see this business not only sponsors, but is actively involved in community events as well as the local 4-H.

I found everyone helpful ,it was unfortunate that we didn't replace the battery on my 1st visit to the shop. I would not have to come back a 2nd time. But having the loaner car made the inconvenience a little easier.

I made the appointment last week for oil change and a once over. I go to Chicago often so need the car safe. They were slammed yesterday but still got me done quickly when I had to wait for it rather than leaving it for the day. Then, they identified things that it needs but not right now. They could have gone for the "sky is falling" to get more $ now. Instead, they gave me guidance on what it needs and priority so I can plan for costs. I appreciate their skill and their professionalism. Thanks, again :)

From Brandon at the front desk all the way to the maintenance team I had an exceptional experience with Conan, the three times I have been there recently I received exceptional care and concern. I want to thank them for being clear and concise with me as I'm very unfamiliar with my vehicle.

They offer great services, especially without ripping you off. And if you need a ride to work or a rental vehicle, they provide options!

Consistently over several years; owner Joe greeted me as I walked in and checked in my car immediately for a routine oil change. Work was done timely and professionally at a reasonable cost. Shop is neat. clean well lit and convenient.

When ever we have a problem with one of our cars I ALWAYS know the staff at Conant will do whatever they can to help us out. I never have to worry about up-selling, unnecessary services or extra charges. Call them up. Get it fixed. Get it back!

Avoid going to them, they treat You like garbage and are one of the rudest to talk with, apart from that You will end up paying for things and parts at much higher rate than the OEM's cost , all the other reviews seem to be fake.

Complete check-up and oil change. Replaced my heating unit for the cabin. In less than 24 hours!

Long story short. Tried to get skid steer tires from them, had several phone conversations and they never returned my call with a quote. Bought the tires online and had them change them. They had previously put a tube in one of my tires twice. One tube failed with less than 2 hours of operation. The second was only used for 5 hours before the tires were replaced. When I picked up the replaced tires I was told the tube was the wrong size. When I told Joe that they put both tubes in, I got a stupid look and an explanation that someone must have pulled the wrong tube off the shelf. Those cost me $125.

Joe & his employees did a great job on the repairs of my car. No extras on top of the estimate (like many shops do) & repairs done when they said they would. Joe is a 'straight shooter', so if you got questions just ask.

Joe and his team are the best around. If you are looking for quality work look no further. I would suggest them to anyone!

I love this place. Joe and Brandon are always very friendly. They explain exactly what needs to be done and why. I once got an automated reminder to have a regular service done. Brandon was very honest with me and told me that they already did the recommended service when they had to do a different repair (as part of the repair). Honesty like that is refreshing these days.

Everything went great for the maintenance of our vehicle...from the time I walked in to schedule the work, while I was there waiting for the work, and the interactions with Brandon and Joe. The work was done in a timely manner. I would only offer one suggestion... the use of paper or plastic covers for the drivers seat, floor mat, and steering wheel from the time the tech gets the vehicle and through completion. I would recommend Conant Automotive without reservation.

These guys do very detail orientated and quality work. Brandon, always is accessible and prepared to answer each and every question and the work is done with the utmost care and responsibility by the mechanics and staff alike. Haven't been driving as much but still took the car in for an annual oil change. I let them know that I noticed a pool of yellow lubricant on my garage floor after taking the car in for the oil change. On checking they found the 14 year old AC compressor was bad. Got the estimate and left the car there for a couple of days until they could schedule the work. May seem strange to repair AC during the winter but now the windows no longer fog up! Always good, thorough work and fair prices.

My car in the last 3 years have been into multiple repair garages for my brake lights that stopped working. No one could figure it out. Then I ended up with breast cancer and couldn t drive anywhere so it sat another year! These guys found the problem almost immediately and fixed it fast! I will always take my car back to them! I've had these guys do work on three different occasions and I will go back. Friendly service, inexpensive rates, and the work gets done right the first time.

I had the serpentine belt on my car break as I was driving by Conant. I was able to pull in and they were able to replace the belt that day. I had my car back the next day. The communication from the front desk staff was excellent and I couldn't be more pleased.

I needed a new battery which really leaves you trapped. After getting it jump started and to Conant they helped me out right away despite not having an appointment and stopping there out of the blue. It was a busy place. Good people. Good service.

From the time I dropped my car off after hours to the time I picked it up, I knew my car was in great hands. They kept me informed every step of the way as they determined what was wrong with my car. Worst in town they damage my car and would not repair their bad work.

Overcharges and don t friendly. Billed $105 for a simple diagnostic - which costs $50-75 elsewhere. The other repair quote was $400 more expensive than East Side, where we actually got the car fixed.

The staff was very friendly. They were able to schedule me in right away, and had me out the same day at a very reasonable price.

Overall I was very pleased with the service however I had requested when they returned my car to park it in the street and lock it up. They parked it in the street as requested but they did not lock it up. I did not discover that until two hours later. Not happy about that part! I was told they would text me and let me know when they delivered the car and I never received a text. Communication gaps our apparent here.

Great work at a fair price. Always the right advice. Recently took my Jeep there because it wouldn't start. Joe and his team quickly diagnosed the problem, identified how it happened, and how it could be fixed. It was a very expensive electrical part but Joe worked with me to keep the price low. He certainly didn't have to, but that is the kind of business he runs.
Fair, honest, integrity and a community based company. I have been taking my cars to Joe even before he had his own place because he always does quality work and took the time to explain it to me.

I've used Conant several times now and each time I'm blow away by the excellent customer service. I have had issues with other businesses treating me like I don't know what I'm talking about or trying to sell me services that are not needed - these guys have NEVER once tried pulling that and it is appreciated more than they know! I don't plan on going anywhere else after my most recent service. I brought my vehicle in and they fixed it under warranty and didn't charge me a dime. Hands down the best service I've received in the industry! I trust them 100% and would recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

Conant Automotive is absolutely the cream of the crop. They are professional, customer focused, affordable, and incredibly clean. I took my car in for a rather large maintenance job. Once I was checked in, I had a link sent to my phone where I could see the progress and had the ability to call, email, or text within the app if I had any questions about the process. If there was any change of cost or part that needed to be replaced. I received a quick phone call as well as estimated completion time. They also cleaned and sanitized the inside of the car as well. Absolutely top notch service and it was a pleasure to have conversation with the personnel while waiting to receive my keys for pickup. I recommend Conant to anyone who needs their car serviced.

Wow, just wow! I had heard so many good things about Conant Automotive, but never had the chance to take my car there till just last week. What an amazing operation! From the moment I spoke with Joe Conant to all my communication with his front line customer service rep Brandon, it was top class service. I had had a dealer give me an estimate of over $1,800 to repair just an AC issue. But Conant installed four new rotors and four brake pads and fixed my AC issue for just $1,400. It was like getting my AC fixed for free!!! :) Can''t say enough good things about this business! Be safe, be sure, be treated fairly -- and get your vehicle fixed right at Conant Automotive! Wow, just wow!

Service is exceptional. Brandon, the face of Conant is maybe the nicest and most helpful person on the planet. I called at.6:58, 2 minutes before they opened, and he answered and said yes come in and have a loner car! I was like, can it be that easy? They went above and beyond to make me comfortable, electronic updates, a phone call and easy to use check ins. They made my day.

(I believe) Brandon answers they phone and helps with scheduling appointments and answering questions; he is always friendly and patient with questions and provides clear info. Thank you, guys! Great quality service and nice staff. Timely with repairs. They test drove vehicle after initial repairs and suggested additional needed repairs. They called with updates frequently and asked for permission to continue additional needed work. I can happily say my car is back to perfect running condition.

I felt compelled to write a review for Conant because if you haven't been to a car repair place before, you always wonder if they are transparent, honest and do good work. If you haven't been here before and are considering, I would say stop right there, and do not look at another place. They are completely honest (even at the detriment of having to work on my car for more than 13 hours making no money) because of something that went wrong after a little less than a year of them working on it previously. I'm quite sure it wasn't their fault, but they fixed my car again anyway with no charge because it was under warranty. I am so grateful to know that great guys like Joe and Brandon (and the rest of their team) still exist. Thank you!

I went in to get a clogged catalytic converter replaced. I was expecting to spent around 1200 maximum, knowing how much the parts cost and how much mark up and labor usually cost. I was told it would be over 1500 and they were trying to tell me the parts needed cost way more than they really did. My father's a mechanic, so I could find out exactly how much the job should cost. I took my car back and went to look under it when I got it home, and found the skid plate was put back improperly and had melted to the exhaust pipe and there is a spot above the tire that's missing paint now from being scraped against something . I would not recommend these mechanics. They will try to overcharge people and damaged my vehicle.
