I tried to go there few times and they were always so busy, so I gave up. But once I did manage to go there... so nice. The interior, people, drinks and food. A really good place for a nice breakfast. If you are gluten free, vegan etc, you More

The place is clean and great tasting teas but could have gotten a 5 star review if it wasn't for an unfriendly lady working there.
The rest of the staff was super friendly, definitely coming back tho

Not surprised by the review from the band below, this is by far the worst place to watch live music. My boyfriend and I ended up leaving early and missing Wooden Sky last year because the owner told us to sit down after the opening band asked everyone to stand up, and when we wanted to continue standing we were told to go stand in the back despite the fact that there was no assigned seating! We pointed this out to the owner but clearly she didn't care. We bought our tickets months in advance, but had to wait in line while everyone else bought their tickets so ended up having to share a bean bag chair. Everyone was extremely pretentious, no one actually looked like their were enjoying themselves.... including the bands. Clearly this place does not actually care about the music, but would rather sell you $9 glasses of cheap wine and then force you to leave when you actually try to enjoy the music! Never will be going here again, for music or coffee, I am not sure how they manage to get so many big names... surely they don't come back after??

Nice little establishment with excellent breakfast food and coffee. Stopped here before a hike and was very impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. If you re in need of a quick bite or cup of coffee, this is the place to go in Canmore!

This is our favourite spot for lunch or an early dinner and we always make a point of stopping in when we are out in the mountains. Love how fresh the food is and being celiac it is nice to have safe options. Great atmosphere and my kids love the play area. My favourite are the bowls the offer. Anyone we recommend this place to has also really enjoyed it. Nice to have a place where you can get fresh healthy food.

Beautiful place with amazing food and great service. Samples of tea by the entrance, free WiFi, and super cute environment! We got the breakfast bowl and the banana bread French toast special and both were delish. The matcha and latte were also really good.

Great spot for a lunch/snack/meal you name it! Has Vegan, Dairy free, Gluten free and vegetarian options. It's basically the menu but don't let that stop you the food is amazing! I reccomend the Maple latte after a Pad thai bowl. :)

Satisfying healthy food! Lots of options for add-ons for their well-known Big Bowls. There was a long wait for lunch on a Saturday, but once the crowd passed at around 15:00, it was easy to get a seat.

My boyfriend and I had the breakfast bowl, and breakfast burrito, and smoothie. The bowl was good but was something I could have made at home and didn't blow me away, but it was healthy and it's nice to eat something nutritious while traveling. The burrito and smoothie were delicious. Overall it's a cafe that really creates a community feeling (very bright and kid friendly) and I would go back.

Love this place, great for a healthier brunch options. Had the breakfast bowl which comes with spinach, quinoa, beans, yams, salsa, egg... basically a burrito bowl minus the wrap. Delicious

A meticulously well crafted menu with options for vegans and non-vegans. Above average quality and taste which is reflected in the price, but certainly not unreasonably so. The cafe also features an incredible assortment of teas to drink in store or purchase in bulk!

Our service from beginning to end lacked a certain professionalism and our wait times felt unnecessarily long but I would be more than happy to return.

This is by far the worst place I've been to in canmore. The server who helped us when dropping off our food rolled herror eyes several times when we asked questions, and she just stared at us instead of responding. The tofu dish I ordered came out with raw tofu, and the eggs were cold. Just go to the rocky mountian bagel co if you want a good vegan option.

Came to this place for breakfast and absolutely loved it. Delicious lattes and the breakfast bowl - with eggs, avocado, quinoa, and other veggies- makes a very filling and yummy breakfast. (Also loved their loose tea selection and I will definitely be returning to buy some before leaving the area).

Very nice place to sit and have a coffee in the mountains. Id suggest sitting outside. Relatively low car traffic so it is peaceful. The treats are delicious ans the coffee is decent. Woukd go again.

I had the Vegan breakfast bowl. It was nice, good to see so many vegan options. The cafe itself is cute! On the way out I grabbed a vegan apple cinnamon bun, which I was lucky to get because apparently they sell out fast, and understandably so. It was delicious

This was my first time in this cute Cafe and definitely not the last!
The breakfast bowl is amazing, healthy food to start the day; they closely follow the Covid restrictions and procedures, you feel 'safe' at all times.

I used to always hit Communitea when in Canmore but lately I've found everyone else has the same idea. It's a cute little coffee and tea shop with great food and beverages but the service is definitely not speedy. I was in there the other day and it took about 20 minutes for the barista to make the 2 coffees ahead of ours and ours. The parking can also be a huge pain since most spots in downtown Canmore go quick. If you have some time to kill in town this would be a great place but if you need something quick you might want to try somewhere else.

Second time here, I was never disappointed about the good. Not only it taste good but also healthy. It is a great place to have breakfast or lunch. One thing I will like to comment is that the food presentation is amazing. My friend and I been here first time last year and we came back again when we visit Canmore. Highly recommended

It's nice to have a vegan option spot for trips to the mountains. Food is pretty tasty and I have to give them credit for the updated seating given how crazy busy it usually is. Give yourself a bit more time for the curry etc as things are made to order and aren't always super fast during peak times.

My husband and I visited Communitea yesterday for lunch as we were staying in Canmore. Lots of great healthy menu options, fun decor, outdoor seating, and our meals were delicious! The only complaint is that it was a long wait to order (~20 minutes). It s fantastic that they re so busy, but it would have helped to have a second till open (there was only one till open). Also, perhaps consider letting customers select their protein rather than having tofu in so many meals. I m sure we ll be back the next time we re in Canmore! :)

Came here after a friend recommended that they had a good Gluten free menu, and WOW everything here is fantastic. Seemed really busy and bet it is steady all the time. We each had bowls and was a large meal for us. Would definitely come back whenever we are in Canmore.

Communite Cafe has great atmosphere and it s kids friendly in terms of welcoming babies and children: there s a play area and toys, and a changing table in the washroom. They even offer free diapers if you need. The food, coffee and tea is great. I really recommend this place to anyone. Free wifi as well.

One of the trendiest places in Canmore to go for a very healthy meal, a large selection of teas and coffees. Bright, airy, and well run. I usually order the protein bowl with smoked salmon and it never disappoints. Very high recommend. Good luck finding a table. It is always packed; for good reason too!

Advice to the owners: For North Americans the presentation of sticking the chopsticks straight up in the bowl presents no particular offense, but this is considered offensive in Japan. I would recommend just laying them on the table instead to avoid making your Japanese customers uncomfortable.

Stopped here on our way over the rockies, and it was great! This place has a really nice atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I would recommend it to anyone, whether they're staying in the area or just passing through. The food seemed a tad overpriced, but it was good.

Best latte in town! Great selection of tea and coffee. Avocado toasts were simply top notch. The place may appear underwhelming from the outside - but very clean and vibrant inside. Must visit if you are in the area.

The ambience was very nice and cozy. The cafe was very well furnished and decorated. Service was warm and welcoming, and the food and coffee were spectacular. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to go on a cute date, or to just head out for a small bite.

Cozy space, health conscious eats, and a long wait time. Communitea Cafe is a nice spot to grab hot tea and chat with a friend or order a vegetarian-centric, gluten-free meal.

This place is pretty decent but it can become pretty crowded and harder to find tables for larger parties. I enjoyed the meal which included a portobello, pesto & gruyere panini with roasted red peppers served with "organic" popcorn. My wife got the turkey, apple, and cheddar panini with a side of curried butternut squash soup. The meal was pretty tasty and the sandwiches were made well. The soup of the day was interesting but the curry flavor was subtle did not suit the sweet flavors of butternut squash as I personally did not like it. The wait time for food was also too long for a sandwich order at around 30+ minutes as I had to ask for an estimate before I received my food. Overall, Communitea is a nice place to visit and has a decent menu to choose from in which the sandwiches were good but just expect to wait a bit. Meals can be around $10-15 per plate.

I did not realize this was mainly a tea house... So the coffee I ordered kind of sucked. However, the place was busy and the food the other patrons had looked yummy!!! So I would try this place again.
