A bit crowded on a Saturday morning but well worth it. Glad to have stumbled upon this place, as it seems to be one of the best in Canmore.

The pad Thai was a really good. Prices were a bit high for what you get. ($4 for adding chicken? No thanks!) Atmosphere was fine, if a little cold. They really pump up their gluten free vegan organic lifestyle, which is fine, but felt a tad over bearing. Friendly staff and a large tea selection.
Great lunch spot! Lots of options for vegans, vegetarians and gluten free!
The tofu sandwich was delicious. My drink took a long time, we had gotten our food and finished it and then waited another 10 minutes before my drink came out, but it was busy so these things happen. Would come back next time we are in Canmore
Service is quick and the food was delicious, a healthy stop for travellers and locals alike.
Barista has a bit of an attitude problem. Ordered drip but they were out. She tells me to wait and doesn't give me any info when it's refilled. I ended up swapping it out for a latte instead.
Additionally, I ordered the breakfast bowl, and asked for some changes (swapped beans for roasted peppers), but they forgot my scrambled eggs. Lady at register was really nice and helpful tho. Saving grace perhaps.
Aside from the subpar service, the salad bowl was great.
Yummy food and nice atmosphere. We had the rice bowl and the mega fresh bowl, which were both colourful and fresh. Lots of vegan and non-vegan options to pick from. The cafe is bright and colourful and clean, a nice place to stop for lunch.
Wonderful food- service was not so good as they forgot my meal
Had a delicious curry noodle bowl that was priced appropriately. The staff were very friendly and connect well with their guests.
The only thing that was underwhelming was the coffee but my fault for getting a coffee in a tea establishment.
Place has a great vibe as well.
Went with my husband and toddler to Canmore one weekend, and we chanced upon this cafe. All three of us enjoyed our visit! Food was great, ambience was cozy, and my kid had a blast playing in their kids area. That was a nice touch. Service was overall good. Could ve been better if one of their staff members were as pleasant and friendly as the others. A little smile goes a long way. Maybe she was just having a bad day that day.
Great food but usually crowded. Slow to on service but very nice people.
Great food. Wonderful place to enjoy a good tea or coffee after a trail. Recommended.
Great food, sometimes the staff could be friendlier.
One of Canmore's must visit locations!! My only complaint is that they close so early, there's just barely enough time to visit for dinner. The costs are really high too, but thats nothing out of the ordinary for this town.
Always delicious. Can be quite busy though so you need a bit of time to spare
Loved this place when we dined here. Very good and unique menu options and a great selection of tea. We will be back!
Lots of vegan options, delicious food, very healthy!
Really good food and a good little area for kiddos to play in. Would definitely recommend and go to again!
Nice healthy food. Chai latte is not upto the mark.
Great place! Yummy food and fun atmosphere. Always busy
Not sure how so many good folks keep coming ro rhis olace. Hard to imagine ruder service anywhere in Alberta. Food is ok, good avocado toast, but the scrambled.eggs were disgusting.
This cafe keeps me alive. They have the best service, soups and espresso that you will find in the Valley!!!
Vegetarian and Vegan super star, also meat options (though expensive) for those who just cant stay away. This is the happy medium my vegetarian husband and I love to hit up when we're in Canmore after a work out or just for a quiet afternoon. The only down side is the price is a bit steep, but its not too bad when we only visit very occasionally and considering they have to transport things into the middle of valleys.
nice place to chill and warm up with a tea and soup
I love the cozy atmosphere and the items on their menu!
Wow. Just wow. This place was so delicious we ate here 2 days in a row. I had the Nori wrap and absolutely loved the combined flavors. Such a unique lunch. My second day I also had a mocha made with cocoa powder instead of syrup and was very impressed. I love dark bitter chocolate and the mocha had just the right mix.
One word of warning - give yourself plenty of time. They are BUSY! It is obviously a local favorite. Totally worth the time though
Tea was really good but the table was dirty and the service was slow.
Thanks for the awesome event last week! Can't wait for the next one :)
Second time at Communities, and always awesome. Bike parking is plentiful & cool. Avocado toast with salmon is my fave, but the berry bowl is yummy too.
Everything is amazing here, honestly - the coffee, food and treats! The only draw back is it is insanely busy. The line is almost always back to the door so don t be in a rush and try to grab a seat while you re in line :)
Delicious and friendly staff! It accidentally fell on the floor and we just got it new. Not self-evident
If you love tea you NEED to come here! The selection is unreal. Breakfast is very good. Come hungry!!
Best place for anyone that is Plantbase/Vegan. Kale Caser Salad and make it Vegan was to die for! Super Fresh Great After a long hike.
Love this place. Their bowls and teas are all amazing. Lots of awesome veggie / vegan options.
Service was good, food was good. We had the bowls with chicken. For the cost i would like to have seen more chicken. It looked to have been processed chicken, which if it was, that doesnt jive with the healthy theme. Hope I was wrong.
Nice place for coffee with small play area for children.
We were in Canmore on the spur of the moment, ended up in this cafe by accident and loved it! Super nice staff, great food (especially the bowls and paninis!) We would definitely come back.
Great food and tea selection. Warm, friendly staff. Best place to hang out in Canmore.
Just enjoy! Definitely visit. Huge tele selection. Good coffee and a great breakfast!
Nice open cafe with good windows. Fairly noisy inside when busy as you compete with other patrons and piped in background music. Sandwich was very tastey but side dish of dried out popcorn didn't work well and took away from the sandwiche. Would have been better with chips at least. Regular drip coffee was decent which is unusual these days
Always amazing food and atmosphere. Had the vegan burrito today for the first time and loved it. Always worth the drive from Calgary
Absolutely amazing food! A must visit every time I'm in Canmore.
Excellent food and tea though food service a bit slow
Nice place. Lots of vegan options for people with dietary restrictions. Their Vegan bowl was delicious! My only complaint was that it took a long time for us to get our order. Other than that, it's quite a pleasant place to have breakfast at.
What an utter disappointment.
The food was average (at best). Paninis are served as sandwiches on white bread (Because That s how we do paninis ).
At one stage, we felt as if we had committed capital murder when the server came to our table and lectured us on the correct placement of the cream. For this, perhaps we will never be able to adequately repay the town of canmore. We are terribly sorry and remorceful of our actions. The cream is for everyone and we horded it like a bunch of animals. We protected it day and night as it lay, defenceless in the middle of our table. However can we repay the debts of our actions. I am particularly sorry to the cream. To the cream, I say, I am sorry. We took you from your allocated space, and placed you on our table. And although your stay was temporary, it must have been so scary for you to have been on our table. I only wish I could go back in time and change my actions. Rest assured, the Keepers of the Cream (AKA staff members) plucked up the courage and came over to save you. You are such lucky cream to have such valiant protectors. Their screeches filled the air like a shrill speaker, blasting through the air. We trembled in fear at the sound and presence.
We will never be the same.
We will always remember.
Thankyou for yelling at us about the cream.

Fantastic food! I would eat here every day if I could. Staff were friendly, restaurant is bright and clean. Washrooms are gender neutral. It was very cute. Definitely coming back!
Love! Love! Love! Favourite place on Canmore hands down. Food is fresh, delivered quickly to the table. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They've got clearly marked vegan/substitutes options available. Big fan! They will most definitely see me again. Breakfast and lunch is on point!
The food was fresh, delicious and the service was quick. I really enjoyed my food, I got the turkey and apple ciabatta sandwich with avocado n the apples were fresh, the cheese was melted to perfection, the bread was crispy and light and the avocado provided a delicious creamy touch. 10/10 recommend this place for a lovely and light lunch. Really yummy place with amazing customer service!
The vegetarian and gluten free people in our family loved that they had multiple options to choose from!
Vibrant staff, good food, good tea, bright big windows, good location, what's not to like???
Lovely little place with good food, a good selection of tea, lots of sunny spots to sit and very friendly staff
Don t get the avocado side-up sandwich. You will pay $12 for what feels like a bare 0.60 cent bun with skimpy sliced avo and thin tomato. Confident I could make a better version at home for $2; they should simply remove it off the menu or put some effort into presentation by adding a side or some pea shoots on top (even a few sliced carrots or a few taco chips would add a lot). The nori bowl was good but should definitely include a protein for the price of $14.50. We probably won t give this cafe a second try.
2 Americano coffee and the 2 items was $39. Feeling ripped off.
Love all the Vegan option, but most of all, I looooove love love their Cinnamon roll, and its vegan!!!
A large variety of vegetarian and vegan healthy choices. We liked the fine cuisine and the friendly, familiar athmosfere. The staff made sure we were well served. That has a special value. Recommended
Beautifully heathy scrumptious food. Do yourself a favour and make a stop!
A great cafe in a small town, decent but not fanatic coffee but service and atmosphere more than make up for it
Cute and modern cafe in Canmore! However the wait was quite long; I think we may have waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. We visited during New Year's Eve, so maybe it was more crowded than normal?
The food is healthy and natural, and they offered a number of vegetarian options. My hubby and I ordered one turkey and cheddar on ciabatta, and a portabella mushroom panini. Both were delicious, and surprisingly larger portions than expected. I also had a cup of their curried butternut squash soup, but it really just tasted like curry sauce that goes with a meat dish. The food in general is filling, but not too heavy. Great place!
Good coffee , good place to meet people. Dont eat much there but what Ive had was good. Price is a little higher than most in my opinion.
Healthy & Tasty. I love my avocado side up & Milky Oolong. Good place to try if you go to downtown Canmore.
Great place in town to grab some tea and people watch. Lots of variety of teas, and some healthy options, my favorites being the buddha bowl and Pad Thai. It can get a bit busy, but that shows you how awesome it is.
This is usually my go-to spot for tea in Canmore. Prices are a little high, but everything tastes great and all of the disposable packaging is biodegradable.
Healthy food, a variety of good teas, and fast wifi.
Had lunch her three time during our week vacation. Food was fantastic, fresh and healthy.
Great place to bring your young children. Food is delicious and fresh.
Affordable, delicious and almost entirely vegan. The atmosphere has character and charm. Will definitely be back.
Delicious healthy food at a reasonable price. It can be very busy but it's always worth the wait.
Communitea is totally my "go to" place whenever we're in the area. It is a really nice space, well designed and the decor is lovely. They have a huge variety of fantastic teas, vegetarian and vegan foods. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are quite reasonable, serving sizes are generous and service is pretty quick even during busy rushes.
It was all about vegan, vegetarian and daily allergies and was kind to the body.
Cafe mocha is recommended because it was the most delicious in Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, and Jasper.
Elizabeth said their Turmeric tonic tea is soooo good.
Pleasant staff, warm drinks and community made this a memorable stop
One thing: they are using single use (compostable) everything. Even if you dine in. This is not environmentally friendly at all. When I mentioned it to the sever she said it s to protect their employees from being exposed to dinnerware/utensils that have been used. I work in healthcare I can tell you that covid does NOT jump from the lip of a cup into the dishwashers mouth. Wash your hands after you do the dishes.. simple. And once things are sanitized they re safe for the next patrons. Other than that - Good food, great coffee, good service.
Food was good but expensive and took forever to get seated
An amazing place with tons of options for all kinds of meal types. Nice relaxing couches too.
Great pad Thai, very healthy tasty selection and fantastic for veggies and vegans.
A great variety of teas, and the food is extremely fresh and organic.
Buddha bowl is amazing. Fresh & filling! Definitely recommend this cafe
