I brought my new Lenovo laptop which was having internet issues. The laptop would not work one room away from the router when numerous other electronic devices had strong signals. I checked in both my apartment and my parents house, both of which had the same issue. I downloaded all the relevant drivers and the problem persisted. The problem disappeared when I brought it in to the Computerware shop. However, the problem re-appeared as soon as I brought the laptop home. Even though the laptop was under warranty, I was charged $50 because they could not diagnose a problem.

I got a replacement product from Lenovo which had the exact same problem. Again, I checked in both my apartment and my parents house. This time I downloaded Ubuntu to check if it was a software or hardware issue. The problem persisted with Ubuntu which made me believe it was hardware.

I called Computerware to ask if they could replace the wifi card under warranty. They said they would need to diagnose it. As the previous attempt demonstrated that the wifi worked in their shop, I offered to take a video of the change in speed the further away from the router I was, comparing that to older machines that maintained acceptable internet speeds at comparable distances.

At this point is was clear that the receptionist had little understanding of the problem as she was advising me to buy a wifi extender. I could have had a on site visit which would not be covered by warranty and which the receptionist made clear that Computerware would likely still recommend an extender. A new laptop should have wifi that works as well as a laptop several years old. Additionally, even though a wifi extender would have fixed the problem in my apartment, I travel frequently and need a laptop which works in hotels. Given that I have had wifi problems in two separate locations I have little confidence that my laptop would be reliable in hotels.

I understand that the primary audience of Computerware is boomers who need help finding the any key. However, their lack of interest in even understanding the problem I am having demonstrates a lack of professionalism. I will also be reporting them to Lenovo as I do not believe Lenovo should be represented by such sloppy service.

Best computer company ever! Have been with Computerware for over 15 years. They setup our HP desktop, laptop and printer in our construction trailer, which are known for higher than usual wear. We had no problems with this equipment in all those years. None! Recently, needing an upgrade for our accounting program, which was also over 15 years old, Computerware provided great quote for all new equipment from Chip Evans, the owner, knowing our company. The equipment was perfect and the installation a breeze. Then, when the new accounting program and converted data, ran into to real trouble, Jim Stewart, their Specialist, came to our rescue. We were sold the new program as an offline product. After hours, over 7, with the program's customer service department could not get their program to open and operate offline, Jim was able to have our system working offline. Jim was so patient and professional which made the ordeal much easier . Also, Hanna, their Office Manager, and Valerie, the receptionist, were always available for support and guidance. I went here back in June to get my laptop fixed (under warranty). I told them exactly what the issue was and what I believed would fix it (based on Lenovo forums). After they failed to replicate the issue, I asked them to try again. They then claimed they identified the issue and it was the charging cord. They replaced it. Lo and behold, this didn t resolve the issue with the battery! I now have to take my laptop back for the 3rd time in a year for the same issue, but I will not be taking it back here.

Working with Computerware and Hanna as my main contact in all aspects of our IT needs has been both a pleasure and very convenient. Having a one stop shop that does it all, can find solutions where other places simply don't try is something that is never mentioned before you work with a vendor. I look forward to doing business with them for years to come. Thank you for all you have done.

I find their pricing is fair and reasonable and they are very knowledgeable on the latest products as well as some of he older technology. Their product line is very broad and they offer some services too. They are my go to vendor.

Needed a specific ink cartridge to continue printing Christmas orders. It was back ordered everywhere I checked. Then I called Computerware and spoke w/ Hanna Robbins. Hanna said she had the item I needed in her warehouse and could have it sent priority 2-day delivery. My Christmas orders will be delivered on time, kudos to Hanna & Computerware!
