We had an awesome employee called John come and do our pest control. He was professional and extremely thorough with the inspection also was able to provide helpful information to the questions that I asked. Would definitely use these guys again and happy to recommend their services to my friends and family.

The Tech, Royce, came out to do the job, turned up 15 minutes early, which was helpful because I over booked myself that day. Royce was very friendly, professional and shared a joke or two with us, which help you feel at ease.

We booked this company a few weeks ago for a childcare centre in the northern beaches. I called a few days before to confirm the booking and see if they needed me to prep anything beforehand. The customer care service team said they would call me back and never did. I then called the National BDM and she apologised saying she would call me back straight away but then also never did. Booking was at 8 am this morning and no one showed up.
UPDATE:
Ash, the customer service manager got in touch with us and organised to have the technicians come out same weekend, free of charge. Dealing with her was great and has changed our perception from a one to a four star. Would deal with this company again. Hopefully after our next interaction, we can give a five star! :)
We have been using Competitive Pest Services for over ten years and always been happy with their treatment but this year their technician, Allan McKenzie, exceeded all our expectations. He was on time, even a little early, and was well presented and articulate. The attention to detail he delivered was impressive and the explanations and advice provided were clear and incredibly helpful in assisting to manage our own premises between services. Very professional company, the phone consultant when we phoned and enquired about the service was really helpful and was able to explain to us over the phone about different type of spiders and really understood the issue we were facing. When the technician came out, he took his time talking to us and understanding where the issue was and why we were having these issues. In the past we have usually gone with the smaller pest control companies but this year we thought we will give the bigger guys a go, and we definitely dont regret it.

Communicative throughout the process. Showed up on time and rang when they were 15 mins away. Thoroughly went over all the details of work completed and have one of the best warranty periods available. We were unsure if it was going to rain on the balcony and wash away the pesticide, but Ryan advised that if it did rain, they would come back out to re-spray the balcony.
This is the third time I have used Competitive Pest Services and i have be thoroughly impressed every time. The Technicians are always very punctual, explain everything thoroughly and are very efficient. Today Ryan arrived on time, called on approach, was very friendly and spent time explaining everything to me, along with answering any questions I had. Upon completion he called me to discuss what had done and also emailed a full outline of the job that was completed and what to expect for the coming days/months.
It has been almost 12 months since our last service and I have only just started to notice a couple critter creeping back inside with the warmer weather (and we live in quite a bushy, tree surrounded area with LOTS of spiders!) 12 months without any bugs in the house is excellent when I have young kids in the house.

We were unlucky to find ourselves in a terrible situation when a visiting family member introduced bed bugs to our home and to complicate things even further, my wife was also 8 months pregnant.
When we discovered the bug, my wife went into a frenzy of panic as we are aware the difficulties of managing bedbugs.
She rang many pest control companies that day, however none offered service even close to Competitive Pest Control s standard. They were just so far above the standard of the previous companies we had contacted.
It started by the amazing representative on the phone who diffused my wife s panic and distress by demonstrating empathy and actively listening to every concern that she had. Additionally, she was extremely knowledgeable and she explained everything thoroughly, particularly relating to the confusion between the huge price differences and the different types of treatments that we had been quoted throughout the day.
We decided to go with Competitive Pest Control simply based on this excellent service, however it didn t stop there. Once we stated we were interested in going ahead, she immediately referred us to the General Manager, Matt due to the fact that my wife was so heavily pregnant. Matt decided that he would cancel his golf game that day and drive to Sydney (at least 2 hours+) and handle this one himself. We are so thankful that Matt gave up his golf day to address our problem.
He turned up on time (always a bonus for any at-home services) and is one of the nicest men you ll ever meet. He showed genuine concern for my wife and our situation and I knew at that point, we had chosen the right company.
Matt was so incredibly thorough in his inspection, he went into every single nook and cranny in the house, every seam in every piece of fabric and kept me completely informed of everything he was doing. He was at our home for many hours and did not stop until he was absolutely satisfied that he had addressed our bedbug issue.
He carefully explained post treatment instructions and has since followed up twice to ensure we are 100% satisfied.

This is going to be a long review because I have a lot to say about how great CPS are. These guys are the experts. I wish I had known about them sooner. I seriously don't think the majority of Pest Control services could do a better job. If you don't want to read my whole review, just call and book them. I promise you you won't be disappointed. I live in an old apartment block and our strata pays for annual pest control services from another company, but the guy they send comes in and does a 10-15min job and then leaves with no care. We have still been seeing a number of cockroaches even months after that treatment, so then I came across CPS and based on their glowing reviews I gave them a call. They have fantastic customer service and the lady knowing how desperate I was, managed to contact a technician to come within the hour. Ryan came and did the most thorough service and treatment. Even though we were his last client for the day, he went above and beyond. He was so polite he even took off his shoes before coming inside. He spent a decent amount of time inspecting and treating the kitchen and explaining everything he was doing to me. He did the rest of the apartment, including parts I know for sure the other company and previous companies we have used wouldn't bother to treat, He also did the balcony and explained where the roaches are living and breeding and why we are seeing them where we see them. Then as if he hadn't already done the most excellent job possible, he went up into the roof and found a nest above our bathroom and did a treatment there where it's obvious other companies have never bothered. I could keep going but I'll leave it at that. Thank you so much CPS for sending Ryan and for the incredible service. I'll be recommending you guys to everyone I know and wouldn't use anyone else in the future. I'm also going to talk to my neighbours and see if our strata can use CPS in future instead of the guy they usually call.

CPS technician John attended job that I requested . He was amazing , actually he remembered that he was at my place year or so ago and what was a problem . His attention to details are very satisfying . If I could pick I would ask for him to come back as my yearly pest control. CSP are pleasant to deal with while I need bookings, and I have been using them a few years now . Price is reasonable

Corey not only arrived on time but rang to let me know he would be arriving in 15 minutes. He was polite, friendly and both he and his trainee took their shoes off before entering the house. He listened carefully to issues to ensure I felt comfortable with what they were doing. I am an elderly lady and felt comforted by both Cory and his trainee wearing masks for protection against Covid. Both young men were well presented, in uniform and driving a company vehicle so I had no security issues in letting them in. As it was raining only the inside of the house was done, but an appointment has been made to complete the outside. Corey did my house last year and I was happy to see a familiar face return. I cannot recommend the services of Corey and this company enough. Thank you.
Our pest controller was so lovely and pleasant. He came a little early but appropriately adjusted. I found him to be very informative, he knew his stuff and I could tell that he made sure he was tackling all the spots without rushing.
