Compass Point Resort and Spa Review

It was ok. Except for the bees and flies outside. But its expected this time of year. Food was good

We had our wedding breakfast and dinner there, dinner on the dock. Awesome food and service! If you stay in nassau be sure you got breakfast oder dinner there!

Mojitos nice but the wings we had were not nice at all. Not even a diff recommendation was given and made us still pay for them.

Beautiful place to eat by the water front, amazing sunset views. Delicious drinks and good food. Can get busy at times but the mojito buckets keep people occupied.

Perfect location, the staff is wonderful, big plus for the vegan options (by the way, the vegan curry is awesome).

The service was extremely slow an under trained. I didn't think it was worth the price.

(2/28/19 visit) My flight landed early and I had 8 hrs to spare until the rest of my friends arrived. Saw reviews for Compass Pointe and decided to give them a visit. They held my bags in storage while I enjoyed the scenic view on their restaurant patio. I had conch fritters and an old fashioned. Both were great. After, I lounged around on the pier. Calm crystal clear waters. Definitely recommend visiting. All the staff were very hospitable.

Charming boutique hotel located in the Love Beach area, not far from the airport. Beware of slight nuisance related to the passage of planes.
Hotel consists of colorful bungalows overlooking the sea. Atmosphere provided with evenings organized at the hotel bar.

Had my brazilian and underarm sugaring done ...NO HAIR LEFT BEHIND....i have had these services done elsewhere before and have never had them completely remove the hair. Channa took her time and got it done right. Super happy with the level of service and professionalism.

Colorful resort that s way chiller than the Paradise Island madness on the other side of the island. This funky little place has individual huts and ours overlooked the water. They were a bit dated but clean and we slept great. The on-site restaurant was some of the better food we found on the island. The staff is kind and the prices are reasonable (relative to other options on the island).

First time being there I enjoyed it , management and staff was wonderful can't wait to return

If you go make sure they do not have any other event going on. They literally will ignore you for hours.

Review is for the restaurant only. We have been coming here for years for sunset dinners. We have seen somewhat of a decline in service. However, this past year, we were extremely disappointed and our table was not the only ones extremely unhappy. The wait for food was obscene. Waiters never checked on you. $50 lobster entree was extremely overdone. Waiter never brought butter. Some appetizers we ordered were no longer available and we were never given the option to order something in their place. Will not return unless I see consistently better reviews. When I went to speak to the manager, there were two other tables waiting to speak to him for the same exact reasons. In their defense, they did credit us on our bill. However, that was not our objective.

I cannot rate this place high enough...I'd give it more stars if I could. Super-relaxing environment set against a colorfully brilliant background. Cabanas are cute and the view can't be beat. All the employees are friendly and helpful. What are you waiting for? Go!

This is an amazing local resort. If you are looking for something more intimate as opposed to right in the center of all the tourism, this place is where it's at. The rooms were clean and directly on the ocean, which was perfect. It's farther away from all of the usual attractions, but we rented a car so that's the part we liked about it. It's on the northwest side of the island, away from paradise island and downtown. The restaurant gets very busy on the weekends, which is cool for the live band, but leaves you no parking if you are staying there and get back at night. That's the only negative thing. The breakfast at the restaurant was always amazing and the staff were so friendly. One bartender who's name was Keeom (probably really spelling that wrong, sorry man) was the best, told us where to go and had awesome service. All of the ladies at the front desk were amazing. Thanks for a great trip!

We were very satisfied with our 60 min couples massage.They were very generous with the time and took good care of us from start to finish. We were in separate rooms due to COVID, but they made that clear from booking time.

Compass Point Beach Resort is an amazing Resort.
The bungalows are ocean front and when you sleep you can hear the ocean sound. Wake up in the morning and breath ocean air is great feeling.
The bungalows are lovely clean and very comfortable.
The food is great!
The resort staff is very friendly and professional.
If you are in Bahamas you have to spend your time here!

I am not the most easy person to please and this place was fire!
I got a caipirhina and they just don't play with it! And the grilled lobster was bomb!

This is Kristal and I dined at the Compass Point and my experience was terrible. I asked the waiter Ramone about the wings and he told me they were buffalo wings and I received fried wings with hot sauce. On top of that, the food took hours to arrive and I was displeased with it all. Will not be back. At all.

Nice ambiance...food was Delish! especially the cracked lobster and 4 bean salad.

Great place food i the best and the drinks so good dont miss the coconut rum don ricardo. The ocean vkew is quite nice and service grreat you must go

This place was perfect!! Nice rooms, great people, great staff, good food, quiet days, easy bus to town out front. We had a perfect stay!! Highly highly recommended!

This was a great place to eat. We were staying at a nearby all inclusive resort, but ended up discovering this place. Good food and service. The ocean front view was worth it.

I attended a wedding at the resort. The pier provides an exceptional view and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Would love to return.

One of my favorite places. From a guest's perspective it's great... food is always good and the view is Amazing . From a vendor perspective being a wedding DJ I love this venue for intimate weddings.

It was an amazing experience to visit Compass Point Resort. The location is magical!! We visited just as all the cruise ships shut down with the onset of COVID19. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. Philip, manager, was great to talk with before and after. The US Consulate told us to leave early, and Philip made sure we received the refund through a 3rd party reservation. We bought a Mahi fish off the street, and it was delivered to the resort restaurant. It was cooked chef choice. a-MAZ-ing!!!! All of the food we had, was to die for delicious! This girl was a 'happy fat kid'!! The seafood ravioli, cracked conch, seafood omlet, and Bahamas punch was the best. I'm still craving that food. We will certainly be back!!!

Good eats, had a great fish taco and guava cake! A nice menu. My mates had wraps and soup. Service is a bit slow, but we were on vacation. so no biggie. As the lady told me they have two speeds in the Bahamas - slow and stop. I was fine with slow. Great views and fun people watching while sitting outside.

There was a misunderstanding about our room. We were with the four of us and there were only 3 beds in the hut. To solve this we got an extra hut for free! The view was incredible and the water was super transparent. Fish in all shapes and sizes. The beach and swimming pool we had for ourselves. However in the evening, the restaurant was not a quiet place as the locals also came for dinner. Along the coastline oil lamps illuminated the path. Breakfast was included and delicious.

Food was a disappointment for the second time. Food Service great. Just the food was a let down.
