This was a major disappointment. We have gone to the Bahamas for 10 years and have frequently gone to Compass Point for their lunches and great Pina Colada with great fresh fruit and delicious. We were there this year, 2019, and they whole experience has gone dramatically down hill. The drinks were from a restaurant slush machine with some rum added after you order. The food left much to be desired. Our fish tacos were soggy and largely fell apart and contained very little fish. We do not plan on ever going back and would caution others to think twice.

My favorite restaurant. The best grilled salmon in Nassau. Great place to hang and listen a live band on weekends, also be sure to check out their strawberry mojitos (the pitcher price is pretty decent).

I was there two days ago and my soon to he husband surprised me with a couples massage and a facial for me and it was the best we was so relaxed we fell asleep during it and I came in with a sunburn that what ever they used the next day it's all tan :) I would recommend the spa to anyone I will definitely be back.....

Wow. Got here by accident looking for a place to stay last minute. Laid back beauty. Good food and cold drinks and service was unbelievably great. Friendly staff and couldnt be a better location on the water.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Their waiter, Moral, provided wonderful service...the best we ve experienced on the island during our stay Our food was high quality and very tasty. We walked the grounds after eating and think it would be a fun place to stay for a night if we were to return to the area.

McBee must have stayed at another place because everything he was saying is not true. They have room service. They have the best beaches in the Bahamas. Very quite clean place. Staff is nice. 2 Jacuzzis and pool open 24 hours. Private beautiful clear water beaches with absolutely NO SEAWEED. Matter of fact I did not even see one piece of seaweed. The beach water looked like a pool it was so clear. No bugs. Free breakfast and it's actually a good hot meal not just Continental breakfast like the other places. Definitely returning!

Our daughter's wedding was to be hosted at this resort in July 2021. Unfortunately, the other resort we were all staying at on the island has informed us they will not be open due to covid. We immediately contacted our wedding planner who is stating the resort is refusing any kind of refund. I have had no return contact from the resort. BEWARE!!!! DO NOT BOOK!!

Very disappointing experience. Service is only offered at the bar/dining area (nothing at the pool, beach or rooms). Plenty of critters (spiders, ants, flies) in the rooms. Food quality is basically reheated frozen entrees. Be careful walking around the pool area as there is a bunch of broken tile. The hotel also hosts live music 4 nights a week until 12am. So be prepared not to get much sleep on those nights. We were also warned not to leave anything outside at night as there has been several items stolen due to the hotels severe lack of security.

Beach (15' by 8') is mostly seaweed. There is no snorkeling attractions off this beach.

If you do stay here I HIGHLY recommend visiting the AquaFire restaurant just across the street. Food quality and price is substantially better.

TL/DR: Overpriced, surprisingly low quality of service and food.

We went there on a 7h layover in Nassau. They offered day passes that were half off if you ate at the restaurant, which we did. The food was much better than expected (fish tacos so good!) and we had the loveliest time. Best layover ever.

I honestly loved this place. I'm a little biased because I was able to walk on the love beach strip all the way back to my accommodation, but regardless, it was amazing. You can feast on wild caught, fresh red snapper, all while overlooking the beautiful sea. If you're staying anywhere on West Bay Street, definitely check this place out. Also, the staff and service are excellent.

Very quaint, welcoming of children, and incredibly beautiful property. Staff is top notch and everyone from the fabulous front desk staff to the grounds keepers are helpful and quick with a smile. Bahamians seem to genuinely love children and our son got a lot of love during our stay. There are discussions on travel forums about the labor bureaucracy that enables a substandard service industry (making it impossible for management to fire bad employees, enforcing automatic gratuity which offers no incentive to provide excellent service, etc). We saw evidence of this at other establishments on the island, but that was not the case at compass point. Our service at compass point was on par with the best we've had at other resorts including those with better star ratings and much higher price tags.

Aside from superb service, the property is stunning. Situated right next to love Beach and with private access, you are spoiled with a vastly larger beach real estate than any Beach resort we've been to. And unlike those larger resorts, during our time in may we had the beach to ourselves. There literally were maybe one or two other people out on love Beach at a given time. Compass point has a small but clean pool and a 8 person hot tub that is open 24 hours. As far as facilities, there is a slightly overpriced restaurant, a modest gift shop with Sundries, a small Spa and a lovely dock extending out into the beautiful blue water. And that is about it for this 18-room resort.

So that brings me to the most important element of this Resort, it's size and vibe. Knowing the kind of trouble you are as critical to determining if this is the right lodging option for your family. If you are the kind of Travelers that are most interested in quiet, hands-off, European style service

We stayed here for a long weekend in 2014 for my wife's birthday, and were simply spoiled. The staff were lovely, and the bartender Leron even designed a cocktail for named after my wife for her birthday. The sunsets were stunning, and the pool (hey, it was easier than walking down to the water) was perfect.

We went back this year (in 2016) but stayed elsewhere - in a rented house. We made sure we went back for one wonderful evening for dinner here (try the buckets(!) of rum cocktail) and were not disappointed one bit. They even remembered us from our last visit. This place will always be special to us. <3

Compass point was perfect for our honeymoon! We had no interest in staying at an overcrowded resort waiting on elevators etc. The included breakfast was delicious and the views are unbeatable. Love Beach is located right next to Compass point which was great and had a cute beach bar about a 5 minute walk down the beach.

Colorful and well maintained boutique hotel with unique and beautiful rooms that are very private and spacious. The restaurant is also well known and serves some great local fare. A very big shout out to Nelly! My bahamian sister who went out of her way to get a driver to return my lost wallet after an excursion before we left for the airport. Very kind and honest people who make you feel comfortable and relaxed. THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL!

Enjoyed lunch at the restaurant and it was a great experience! Service was warm, friendly and very attentive. The lunch menu offered a variety of local and international choices and I recommend their crack conch and conch fritters! Tried the curry and it was spicy and well flavored. The views from the outdoor patio were stunning. Well worth a visit for the dining experience when in Nassau.

Great food at a reasonable price, great location and scenery, I especially love the colours of this place. Most of the staff were very friendly, but some of the wait staff weren't as much. 40min walk from the airport if you have a long layover.
