Community Hope, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been providing support and assistance to individuals and families struggling with mental illness, addiction, homelessness, and poverty for over 35 years. The organization was founded in 1985 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized the need for comprehensive services to help those in need.
The mission of Community Hope is to provide hope, recovery, and support to individuals and families impacted by mental illness, addiction, homelessness or poverty. The organization offers a wide range of programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of each individual they serve.
One of the primary focuses of Community Hope is helping veterans who are struggling with mental health issues as a result of their service. The organization recognizes that many veterans face significant challenges when returning home from active duty including PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), depression, anxiety disorders or substance abuse problems.
To address these issues head-on Community Hope provides specialized programs such as transitional housing for homeless veterans; supportive services for those living with PTSD; employment training; counseling services; peer-to-peer support groups; case management services; legal assistance; financial education classes among others.
