Clothes Mentor Rock Hill, SC Review

Staff was very friendly. Wish we got more money for the clothes we sold there. There was a great selection of items and it was all decently priced.

They have shoes in a size 5. I love that. They also have a bigger selection of clothing, shoes, and bags than Plato's closet. They are also more expensive than PC. Staff was nice to me.

Stopped in the store today. Great selection and friendly helpful staff. They helped me put a couple cute outfits together for my upcoming vacation.

I've been with my wife on several occasions.I very much encourage her to go because of the prices. She always seems to finds that elusive piece of clothing she's been looking for. Keeps me from running all over town. Thank you Clothes Mentor of Rock Hill.

So heads up they are no longer doing appointments though multiple employees have told me they are. Had to wait 2 hours. This place used to be awesome but they are cheap. Don t shop or sell here. Sell online you ll make more money and won t wast any of your time.

Apparently They only GREET white women. I walked in there and all associates looked at me and kept working. The white women walks in as I m walking towards the door and all 3 whites women very non hesitantly spoke to the customer. I thought it was Odd that they didn t greet me as I walked in. But hey guess Clothes Mentor RH doesn t promote diversity. Will never go back her again, in no state that I m in.

I was there an hour and the girls up front were complaining about customers the whole time. Which I get working in the service industry, but time and place people. I love clothes mentor so I'll be back but it definitely was unprofessional.

I did a walk in to sell - appts no longer needed. They purchased most things and priced them fairly. The store is organized and associates are friendly. I got some good deals on outerwear. This is my go to consignment shop.

Great selection. Good place to find clothes for work and job interviews. The staff is usually helpful and friendly.

Bethany is a lifesaver. 6 year anniversary tomorrow and she helped me pick out an awesome outfit for the day. From head to toe, she helped me every step of the way. Great asset to the company.

Bought clothes from here, didnt wear so i figured i would sale them back even knowing i would take a loss and they wouldnt buy them back saying these styles didnt sale well there. They are the ones who sold them to me?

Do not like how they handle articles that you bring in for resale. I went there today. They weren't very busy and were well staffed. It took longer than it should have. Wait was 30 minutes. Brought in 3 articles. One pair of silver heels which had only been worn once, still in style and in excellent condition. The clerk offered me $5 for 2 pairs of shoes. That was insulting and a total waste of time. I said no way and gave them to a thrift store where at least someone will enjoy them. I only got rid of them because the heel is too high for me to wear anymore. Know they have to make a profit but there is nothing in the store except maybe a bracelet for $4. No shoes sell for $5.

Worst clothing store by far. They do not offer much for your money.

Good choices, mostly women's clothes. I went shopping for my sister and there was an $80 with tags shirt for $15

Racks are so full you cant pull anything out to look at it. Sloppy compared to when nk it first opened, not as great a selection. Staff is slow and on there own world talking among themselves.

Very well organized consignment shop. Ladies clothing and accessories only.

I can only speak for online experiences. Seems online shopping customers do not matter to this store. There are reasonable grounds to suspect owners are in my opinion are quick to take your money but not so eager to help you the customer save money you have earned as it appears. Owners appear ok with lining their pockets.

I recently earned a coupon and the store refuses to let me use it. I understand their online store is new. They refuse to let me purchase the items then refund me the coupon percentage back, create an online code for usage, etc. I keep being told owners will get back with me as they have to make this decision. I have tried calling a few times to speak to owners or general manager to see what can be worked out. But instead you will be meet with silence. Seems nobody cares to return your call or offer a solution.

I am unable to go inside of store to use coupon as I am no where near this store. The owners do not care and refuse to allow the coupons to be used it seems. Save your money there are plenty of other Clothes Mentors to shop online that have great customer service and allow coupons usage online.

***Owner called me only after seeing this review. I was very pleasant to owner but owner was very argumentative from the start and it went down hill fast. Appears he would only give me my coupon if I removed my review (he stated this more than once), Seems to have threatened me with no other Clothes Mentor will ever let me shop with them, wanted to know what I was doing with the product after my purchases (which is odd and none of your business), Appears he stated his stores are not doing well. Appears employees are leaving and seems he is thinking of having to shut down stores (unsure why that was being thrown at me), Seems my one star review was very odd for someone who only shopped at this store once (Which obviously was not appreciated). Seems he continued to threaten me with the fact he owns three stores and no one from Clothes Mentor will ever allow me to shop with them ever again. Just very unprofessional and just very awkward rude conversation. I ended up hanging up because it appears that the threats and rude tone were not going to stop.

Entered for 1st time, guess because i wasn t in formal wear I was not greeted. I found a lovely Kate Spade I wanted, no one bothered to help. When looking at summer wear on sale. Signs are misleading!!! Apparently only short sleeve, Capri, shorts ect , have to be completely worn out yo be on sale. So even though the red signs in area say sale, wrong, look for the worse item an it may be on sale! Left without my Kate Spade!! Learned Clothes Mentor isn t customer friendly!

My mom and mother in law came to visit us last summer from our country. They loved The clothes and deals you have. However, when they were paying The cashier asked them where they were from and when my mom told them "we are from Colombia", The cashier replied: "oh!, Cocaine!"

That is TOO DISRESPECTFUL and shows lack of Culture.

I didn't realize this shop only caters to clothing that is only two or 3 years old. I had some very nice formal wear (worn only once) they refused all my items. They told me they would text me and did not. Please take note ,read all fine print. I only had 48 hours to get my stuff back or they would take it to some charity. I did call in time , however their phone was making noises and had a difficult time understanding her. I did get my things back however will not go to that shop again. They are extremely picky.

I purchased a Nine West dress for only 17.00. It was practically brand new, and I also purchased a bangle braclet for 4.00. When I Googled the brand of braclet it was worth 50.00. So yes, I'd say this place is awesome. I had great customer service too.

Sometimes, I am able to find something. I am plus size so selection is limited. The cashier was rude to me. I just smiled and paid.

Everyone was nice. I found lots of things that I liked and everything was neat

My wife sold some of her clothes here. I sat and waited; didn't see a men's section. They paid well for what they bought.

I like that they buy/sell plus size clothes unlike Plato's Closet. The prices are similar to PC as well, but they have more items and their store is less crowded.
