Some good, some not so good technicians. They installed our HVAC system and did all the service for years, then discovered it was not level so charged $90 to correct that error. The service manager was going to call me back. That never happened, so I switched companies then found I needed that company to make a call to correct what was not fixed with on their last call that I paid extra for. Beware of this company.

They installed a unit a couple years ago. Had issue with the capacitor going bad, which is under warranty. They charged us $249 total. I called and asked why are we being charged when it is under warranty. They removed the cost of the part off which still leaves a charge of $181. Explaining to me they are charging $81 for the service of doing business with them (them coming to look at a unit they installed and recommended), and for the labor. I told them it makes sense that only the part is under warranty, but why are we paying for them to do labor and then pay for them basically, being there. I am fine with paying labor cost, but why are we paying another $81 for us doing business with someone that we have had a relationship for the last 4 years. After telling them that this makes no sense, their explanation is "it does make sense". To Who?

Called for spring maintenance and advised of a known issue with the coils getting mildew (Smelly Sock Syndrome). When the tech arrived, had a conversation again about this and he said he sprayed the coils but didn't know if that would solve it. (Prior company solved the issue). Stated that if they had to come back, it would be an additional charge. Well - 3 weeks later, the issue is not resolved. Called the office and was told it will be $90 to come spray the coils again and that the prior service was not relevant to this issue. (Even though it was discussed with the office and the tech). Was told the ducts needed to be cleaned and UV lights installed. None of that was necessary in the past.

So, since they required a full year of the maintenance plan paid up-front, will be tied to them for a full year, but will not be staying beyond that. Highly disappointed in the handling of the issue.

Amazing experience from the time I called & talked to Brad until my unit was up & running. Hal the service tech called ahead to let me know he was on the way & was friendly & professional the entire time. Best experience ever with an A/C service company- highly recommend them!

I have used Comfort Engineering for few years due to recommendation of a large homebuilder in Williamson county. The first few trips were good and the technician was honest. The last trip, the individual showed up late, could barely speak English, and told me a number of items were wrong with my HVAC system. One of the issues he identified was the control board, which I just replaced a year earlier. He told me that it was all wrong and had to be completely replaced. After asking for the details why and that I had knowledge that it was properly installed, he started change his story with, "well it doesn't exactly have to be replaced" and then made up some nonsense, all of which didn't make any sense. Obviously trying to add work on a component that was only a year old. After being frustrated with being lied to by the tech, I called the office to speak with his manager only to get told "he's new and doesn't know what he is doing yet". Are you kidding me, "doesn't know what he is doing yet", then why is he working on my HVAC system??? After this, he had the gull to say (in a negative voice), "what do you expect me to do, we're the cheapest in town so I'm not going to do anything". On top of all of this, the part that was actually broken was received three days later as stated but they didn't have anyone to do the work, so, not installed as promised. It's okay, it's only 25 degrees at night so no big deal.

Can't wait to call my homebuilder friend and tell him about their great service...

Our heat went out overnight last week. I spoke with CES at 8am, and had a technician at my home within a few hours to fix our unit. Gary was kind, professional, and took the time to explain what the issue was and how he repaired it. Good service, good prices!
