Just got a deli sandwich and grilled veggies- both were good, but honestly, those grilled veggies were the best I have had in a long time! Just the right about of spices and grilling. Great job!

Have been to UVA multiple times to due Chronic Pancreatitis caused by a genetic mutation. I was scheduled to have surgery on March 10th, yet they kept putting it off due to malnourishment . They expected me to gain 20 pounds in a month which is 1/5 of my body weight (I weight between 110-120lbs). Couldn t get ahold of the main doctor to do the Total Pancreatectomy with Islet Autotransplantation (TP-IAT). I met the doctor once and it was for ten minutes in January. Never seen him again throughout my visits the past few months. My ER and Transplant Level hospital stays where mostly good, nurses are nice and professional, but am very disappointed that they wouldn t give me the surgery I so desperately needed. Thankfully I m at VCU now where I m getting the surgery in a few hours this morning. Thank y all for reading.

UVA Hospital has saved my mom s life many times. She was first flown to UVA in July 2019 with problems with her heart. She was not projected to live. It has been over a year and she s still with us. Her quality of life is great! The doctors and nurses at UVA are so awesome. Everyone is so nice too. We feel so welcomed when we are there. I highly recommend this hospital.

Should be zero stars to match level of patient care. Over 8 hours just to see a nurse despite a possible life threatening complaint with never any evaluation ore stablization. Every request from something as simple as water to seeing a nurse refused or ignored multiple times. Did not see one patient checked on in waiting room with staff having to be harassed by other patients to get them care.

I had a wonderful experience here! The nurses and staff were wonderful! Especially on 5th floor Central! Outstanding nurses in the neurology floor!

I just got released from 5 West after a short stay. The Staff - Bre, Ashley, Adam, Lana, my major caregivers could not have been more caring, understanding & professional. I can say this because I worked as a Medical professional for appr 22 yrs. They are top notch & the best. I called them my Angels. The surgeons & entire team (cannot state all names, to many to remember) performed a miracle on my ankle. My heartfelt thanks go out to all who took care of me.

Dr. Elliot in Neurology, helped me through so much. I highly recommend this Dr. I will always remember him as someone who wants to help! He s great! And his team was very helpful as well. 10/10!!!

$10,252.18 for the closed reduction of a single arm fracture (prediagnosed at MedExpress) and the application of a temporary splint (no cast or follow-up). The billing department is aggressive and, at times, quite smug. After dealing with them, I did not feel comfortable filling out the intrusive financial assistance forms. I have no doubt that the information would have served UVA more than it would have served me. Unfortunately, I could find no real patient advocacy. When you fill out their complaint form, they direct your complaints to the entity you are complaining about.

I received a new liver & kidney at UVA & was released 7 days later feeling so blessed. I want to thank 1st & foremost the donor family & the exceptional surgeons, doctors, nurses, & everyone else for the exceptional care. I'm doing great & am so blessed.

Best place I've ever worked. Been admitted a few times. My only complaint ever would be with the hospital and healthcare system in the states here. It would be hard pressing to find a place with the heart and soul of this hospital.
