Disgusting. Very rude customer service when I called. And when I head down for administrative stuff, I asked the customer service for how to do digital photo, all she told me is take a queue number which wasted my 20min queuing - only to find out I could just pay at the kiosk right at the door. Retarded and lazy customer service. Bukit Batok Driving center is much better.

I am writing to express my deep gratitude to my dr...

I am writing to express my deep gratitude to my driving instructors from Ubi CDC One Team, Team 6 - Mr Edwin Quek Wei Qiang and Mr Tan Beng Huat for their guidance, deep knowledge, patience and particularly motivating efforts to enable learners like me who is lack of confidence and fear to drive for passing my driving. They are very professional instructors and I enjoyed each and every one of my lessons with them. I am very impressed when I made mistakes during the lessons, they never shouted or show anger at me but guided and explained to me again and again patiently.

Mr Edwin is very effective and understands people well as he act accordingly to find the best method for me to overcome my weakness and gain necessary confidence for safe driving.
When he noticed some of my foundations are not correct, he will find time within the lesson to teach me the right technique. This is very helpful and has helped to strengthen my foundation in some areas like change lane, turning of steering wheel, controlling of speed and reaction to the road traffic. He was very patient and took the time to answer and explain all my questions in a simple and understandable way.

Mr Edwin worked diligently to make sure that I not only passed my test but also teach me the skills of driving and the attitude of how to drive safely and respects other road users. The most impressive things are his teaching attitude and methods where his objective is not passing the exam only, but to eliminate any potential dangers in order to make sure learners are 100% safe. He is always supportive and encouraged me a lot not to give up when I failed. He will train and let me practice on the areas that I'm weak on to prevent the same mistake I made previously. I have learned a lot from him and he is always willing to help learner to be the best.

I would also like to thanks Mr Neo from student affairs and Ms Lee Lee from customer service for their help for resolving my queries whenever I have issues.

It has been a great pleasure for me to learn driving from Ubi CDC. I am sure that the tips and training provided by Mr Edwin and Mr Tan Beng Huat will enable me to develop safe driving habits. I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes to the school and its staff.

Thank you.

I am very fortunate to have the guidance of very dedicated ONETEAM instructors Mr Sam Ho Chuin Chuen (1188) and Mr Seow Chee Meng Lawrence (1141) (Team3, Car 282) to prepare me for my Class 3 TP which I cleared on my first attempt at CDC.

They are professionals who take pride in ensuring that their learners get the best out of each lesson. From customising lessons according to one s abilities and progress to the sharing of useful real-life driving advice.

Considerate,
Objective,
Amiable,
Conscientious and,
Humorous
are some words that could be used to describe them.

One could definitely count on them to make his/her learning a pleasant and insightful experience. I highly recommend them to all who are interested to take up driving lessons in Ubi!

Thank you Mr Neo Choon Jin and Ms Li Li for helping me with administrative matters and queries. Thank you Mr Tan for your constructive feedback on my driving as well.

Has the dirtiest look and feel (especially the toilet)
Like that how? Got motivation to pass theory test anot?

Just look at the earliest available test dates of the centre and compare, the driving centre with the longest waiting time, idiots like me during a lesson, sit inside a JB style queue for every single parking practice, slope, crank turn and directional change.

Even eagerly want to sign up, wait long long.

This place is quite special, still need a stupid booklet which I lost, need to pay $ and wait for instructor stamps. My friends at other centres does it all on phone for lessons record.

This is also the only driving school out of the other 2 without shuttle bus. Coming here take ComfortDelGro taxi har?

-Qualified driver with license, passed (not in CDC)

Super difficult to book practicals online. Every day of the month for booking, the portal lags like crazy, as there are tons of people trying to book all at once. Had an instance when a month's worth of sessions booked completely under 12 minutes. Very disappointing, very slim chance to book enough lessons to finish the whole course fast. If you want to get the licence quickly, seriously CDC is not the place to go. I thought that learning under the one team scheme will be easier to book, but was i wrong! Probably trying to maximize profit by assigning so many learners to one instructor making it so damn difficult to book.

When you have no competition, you are comfortable, you give the worst service. Lousy waiting system that prioritise customer who give you the most money, not first come first serve, never been to any places that worse than here. Some services can be bring online to give convenient to people and boost your business, but they prefer you to come and wait and waste your time and use more man power. Surprise that such company still survive in this part of the world.

Driving instructors are okay.

Driving instructors are okay.

Riding instructors are generally unprofessional and behave like hooligans. Make unnecessarily remarks and not clear with instruction. I have personally witnessed a confrontation between a learner and an instructor for shouting unnecessary abusive remarks at him while in the circuit, almost escalated into a fight. People with anger management issue should not be allowed to teach riding safely on the road. Not recommended to learn riding here.

Went during peak hour and had to wait quite sometime.

The aircon in the customer service office is speechless. I feel quite stuffy while waiting at waiting area. Could not feel the aircon at all.

Toilet was smelly, hope they do more cleaning or install air freshener or install more ventilation fan in the toilet.

Random people just cut into my queue enquiring when i was at the counter. Staff was patient and apologetic on interruptions by other customers.

Pity the staff at counters with some really unreasonable people... kept interrupting the counter service and whined on long queue. Customer beside me had long and weird questions but staff still remain patient.

Conclusion, the staffs are quite friendly even though can see some cockster ask stupid question where i can feel if im the staff, i will flip them.

Decent place to get your motorbike or car license....

Decent place to get your motorbike or car license. They offer Class 2B, 2A, 2, 3 & 3A courses. There's also a course for conversion of foreign driving license.

The circuit is, most of the time, packed. You can wait for up to 12 minutes just to attempt one station. As for riding/driving instructors, it's a hit or miss. Some are just plain arrogant and condescending, while some are really nice and helpful.

Btw, there's one food stall at the premises but it's expensive. I.e. Iced milo for $2.20 and Iced Coffee for $1.80.

Enrolled nov 2019. Nw waiting for 2A TP test next month. Advise to learner, just ask any questions that come to your mind. The rest is practises to master the techniques. Not to ensure 100% of accuracies but to acquire the minimum standard as stated in the booklet.Few riding instructors know me cos i keep asking questions haha...Asking questions is to minimise chances getting of demerit pts. Go thru the demerit pts in the booklet n try not to cmmit those mistakes although we will haf but not more than 18 pts and IF. Many questions, less demerit pts, 1 time test then licence. Moreover instructors are there to answer our questions. 1 .Meaning we practise for few months just for that 15 - 20 mins. So gd luck to the learners during pract lessons n those waiting for test. Don be shy to ask the instructors who not rostered to take your lesson.

Passed my 2A TP test. 1 attempt. Since enrolled Nov 19 - Feb 20. 4 months. My method is any questions, just keep asking the instructors & note down immediately after the lesson if u think u cannot remember. If u falls at any obstacles, nvm. Try again. Falls during lessons better than during TP. Demerit points better than IF.

Thank You Instructors
Husni, Sufie, Suhaimi, Abdoh, Baha for clearing my doubts during my practical lessons & instructors who r on duties for 2A/2 TP test on 24 feb 20. Luckily i didnt disappoint u guys after asking so many questions. Especially Husni & Sufie r the instructors whom i asked the most questions.

Absolutely horrible. Was about to commence my 2nd lesson when this happened. I was 15 min early and it was really hot, at 34 degrees Celsius. I was frantically looking for shelter and my car would be the best place to find shelter. The driver, which was making a private call, told me to get out in an unnecessarily strong tone. I was feeling dizzy and immediately rushed to heartland mall to take shelter. We are not in the 1980s anymore, CDC. Explain.

Edit. Okay, a person named Eddie came and told me he would solve the issue. Nice guy. At least CDC is willing to take feedback and work on it. Good job
Edit 2. Oh mama my driving test is in 15 min. Wish me luck

am using my husband goggle account to write this review.

Both myself and my sister took lessons from Kelvin Ng (ID:1108) as fixed instructor. BOTH OF US PASSED AT FIRST TEST. In fact, i just passed my test yesterday!

Mr Kelvin Ng (ID:1108) is very professional in his coaching methods, dedicated and ensure we use correct techniques is used when we drive.
Lessons are conducted in detailed, clear and focused manner, most importantly, safe driving is taught in our lessons. He always explained the hows to tackle and reasons for doing so in different situations. Mr Kelvin Ng (ID:1108) is strict yet he puts in a lot of efforts to guide and share driving experience. Throughout my learning experience, i feel safe and assured when Mr Kelvin Ng (ID:1108) is with me and now, because of his guidance, I am able to have the courage to drive outside.

We are both very grateful to Mr Kelvin Ng (ID: 1108) as our fixed instructor in CDC and ensuring we passed at first attempt when possible! :)
Thank you Mr Kelvin Ng (ID:1108) - very grateful to you !

Passed my Class 3A test today!! Thanks to the awesome team of school driving instructors at CDC Ubi. I went through One-Team 3A lessons with friendly and professional instructors who taught me all the safety checks, driving techniques and shared their road experiences in detail.

They really felt personalized and all of the staff I met were very understanding and helpful throughout my learning experience here. On some days, it might be very crowded and packed for certain administration processes (like enrolment or enquiry) and for some lessons, but if you're patient and open to learning, the lessons are impactful with excellent Totoya Vios training cars, and I feel a lot more confident on the roads now :)

He was really professional, passionate and technical on his teachings on parking and driving. He would pick up my "bad habits" and show me how to improve on my driving skills. He also gave me mock tests and after lessons review to let me understand how can I perform better. I managed to pass my driving test on the first try!! I just passed my manual car driving test today, 1st attempt. I am very happy and greatly in gratitude of my instructors. Before I joined the school Elite team, car 512 :), I took private lessons. I was so bad at driving, could not steer properly, could not engage the right gears, veer off the road. I was so terrible and I easily became panic whenever the private instructor was impatient (and that happened a lot). I stopped learning after 10 lessons. After 3 years, I decided to go with the school, and signed up for Elite team. It is the best decision I've made. I will encourage all my friends to go with the Elite team, car 512! YES EVERYONE ! ELITE TEAM, CAR 512. I had the best experience, my 2 instructors were so patient, understanding and most importantly very encouraging. They help transformed me from a panicky learner to way much more confident after just one lesson. I regret I did not go with the school before. My 2 instructors are extremely professional, detail oriented, very good at explaining the techniques, make it so much easier to understand and follow. They also emphasized greatly on safety check, and how to be a safe driver. They made sure I form good habits as a driver. They made driving so much fun and enjoyable. Before my test, I could not book a slot because I was late but my instructor went above and beyond his responsibility to arrange the slot for me. They gave me plenty of mock tests. I was so touched and grateful. I owed my license BIG TIME to my 2 instructors. Now that I have graduated from the school, I already miss the time I spent in CAR 512, and the ELITE TEAM. Who thinks learning how to drive is stressful, should think again when you are in their care.

Thank you again and I just want you to know that how thankful I am with CDC driving school and my superb instructors.

To my ELITE team instructors who dont want their names to be revealed :) (Mr A.L 0740 and Mr Tan 1133): I hope you great health and happiness. Thank you so much for making my dream come true :) You are best of the best!

Good luck to all the learners, if you get CAR 512, you know you are lucky and you are more than half way through getting your license :)). All the best !

Cheers,
Huong Nguyen

This place is in desperate need of renovation. Many mandatory lessons.

Signing up took a very long wait with no place to sit, even outside of peak hours took nearly forever to get to the counter to speak to someone.

Customer service lady attitude definitely needs to improve.

Booking slots are very limited, must camp at the release date online to get a lesson 1 week later

REGRET joining the Class 3 course through their roadshow promotion. Absolute waste of money, first practical lesson is squeezing in a small car with 3 other students, talking about aircon, seatbelt and mirrors.

2nd lesson, then you start somewhat at a very slow pace with the instructor explaining basic stuffs before you actually get to seat in the drivers seat going round the circuit. UPON seeing the many queues of cars trying to attempt the circuit obstacles which takes a lot of your actual learning, I quit. Yes. Registration fees down the drain, I went to a private at SSDC, car is in much better shape, he picks you up at Admiralty MRT. Confirm have open slots as soon as possible within the week when asking him. Lessons more affordable and on road already with private. Even got option for mrt pick up

What made me more mad was, getting the wallet balance by check took way longer than 1 month.

If you are a normal self respecting human being looking to get their license quick and have seated in a car or even have a basic idea of car, I strongly recommend signing up with a private account.

I enrolled in ComfortDelGro Driving Centre under the ONETEAM scheme not too long ago, and was able to successfully pass my driving test and obtain my Class 3 (Manual and Auto) Motorcar License at first attempt today.

This would not have been possible without my two skilled instructors from ONETEAM (Team 3, Car 282), Sam and Lawrence who had trained me with the right techniques and mental approach towards driving. Attending their driving lessons has always been a fruitful and enlightening session which never fails to teach me the correct tips to maneuveur any manual and auto transmission vehicle. In addition, both of them have exceeded far beyond their job scope when it comes to teaching. Besides coaching me on how to deal with various scenarios in the circuit and during general driving, I often find them sharing with me very useful tips that can be applied on the road when driving daily. Also, they always provide me with emotional support during lessons and before my driving test, which I greatly appreciate and has never failed to motivate me. Most importantly, they place significant emphasis on driving safely and NOT recklessly, which I find, as an important virtue for all drivers to possess. This differentiates them from any other instructors that I have encountered and have heard from my peers.

In my truthful opinion, Sam and Lawrence from Team 3 are both spectacular instructors who complement each other very well. And, I believe they are the best instructors out there that are able to provide the best learning experience and welfare for students under their team, just like how they have guided and took care of me well.

My experience at CDC did not start out well at first. Luckily, I met instructor Sam Ho from car 282 (Team 3) who explained in a way I could understand, genuinely cared about my progress and was very patient and encouraging as well. He was what a slow learner like me needed. In the end, I passed on the first try. I will always be grateful to you (and instructor Asri) for being firm yet encouraging. - Wan Ting

Its really a hit or miss for the driving instructors. Didn't mind the frequent scolding as it could help to keep me alert not to make the same mistake again etc. Sometimes it may get under your nerves, such as when you get called "Stupid" or "Idiot". But its all part of the "CDC Process" isnt it?

Teaching wise, I only met a few rare driving instructors that can actually point out certain technicalities, the function behind it instead of just "Go here" "Go there" "look at the door handle then turn". These experienced instructors are usually under oneteam. The rest are just there to earn their bucks and some of them are part time too.

One more good(or bad) point to note is that Ubi area has heavy traffic during the day. And usually those who completes CDC can adapt better to Singapore's congested roads. Just that during the test day, it may not be easier to pass due to the requirement of switching lanes.

Hi CDC,

Hi CDC,

From: (Ms) Wong Li Ling Claudia
Learner ID: 3A031039
Course enrolled: Motorcar Class 3A

Compliment to common pool, preferred instructor Mr Lim Boon Kuan, Peters (Instructor ID: 7018)
A gratifying thank-you letter to Mr. Lim Boon Kuan, Peters (Instructor ID: 7018).

I would like to write to give my compliment to my fixed instructor Mr Lim Boon Kuan, Peters (Instructor ID: 7018) in common pool Motorcar Class 3A for his excellent teaching.

My fixed instructor Mr Lim is a very friendly, punctual, and informative instructor. He always makes the lesson stress free and enjoyable yet being strict and precise with his teaching to ensure that I understood the concept taught. Importantly he also doesn t teach by sensing which is what other instructors usually teach.

I was also given mock tests and through the mock tests I had the opportunities to try out all the 11 different routes. With the mock tests I was also able to identify my weaknesses and have more practice to improve not only in driving but also have confidence in myself. Mr Lim has never once scolded me during the course of my driving lessons with him.

I am grateful towards Mr Lim and I have no regrets having him as my instructor. I would highly recommend Mr Lim to any new learners who are looking for a patient, understanding, caring and most importantly wanting to pass your driving test on the 1st attempt!

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank student affairs Mr Neo Choon Jin, Mr Jimmy Chan Kim Teck & CDC Planners for their kind assistance and support that they have given me during my time in CDC.

Thumbs up to Instructor Sufi, even she's a lady but she given much more than words to any rider who is petite like myself to always say "You can do it" even when i still tip toe on the MT03 bike.
There is also a few male instructor who is helpful in many ways but i just cannot recall their names..
I will definately recommen my fellow friends who is up to upgrade their 2B license to sign up in Ubi.

Enrolled in CDC around Feb 2020 before passing TP Test in July for the first time. Shoutout to my OneTeam instructors (Azmie and Asraf) in Team 4 for putting in their max effort tohelp me improve in my driving techniques. Also thanks to all the relief instructors who gave their own tips as well even though I am not their fixed student. Would highly recommend OneTeam under CDC if you have nothing else on your schedule for ~6 months (i.e not working, waiting for uni). But of course common pool is also a good option if you want to save money due to the now mandatory simulator modules (~+$100)

Kudos to Sheron Kong from Customer Service, CDC, for assisting me with my lesson-booking troubles because of my mistakes. Instead of telling me "Can't do", or "This is the criteria and restriction set", she took the effort and time to get the right dept/person to correct the error I had made. Truly appreciated.
