Leaving this review for my local store because who knows who I was talking to when you are on online chat. Comcast is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I recently moved and followed the prompts on their website to transfer service. When you click to schedule a technician visit to install your services, it just redirects you to the homepage! So I got on online chat and tried to schedule a technician visit. It should have been very simple- I told them there was no cable coming into the building because it had never had comcast before so I need a person in a van to come out and pull wire. The incompetent chat person starting asking me if the light on my modem is on! The modem was in a box because there was literally NO WIRE COMING INTO THE BUILDING and they could not understand this. Over two hours was spent being transferred from person to person on the online chat, often with no notice that I would be transferred, before I finally landed on someone who understood this simple request and scheduled a technician visit. I wish I could cancel comcast but they are a monopoly in my area thanks to them cutting deals with local government. I wish I could leave a negative 10 star review for this truly evil organization.
