If you aren't used to online work then the beginning experience could go bad. I've noticed a lot of schools providing online courses now and I am very proud to be attending this University #going forward with technology.

The quality of education you will receive here is absolutely terrible. Tuition is Extremely high and you will often be charged for things that you have not agreed to pay. I would not recommend this school to anyone!

This school is a joke and money hungry, I took to classes with them when I got to my third I decided to change my career path and go back to a different college where I got my last degree, so I decided to withdraw from CTU well I talked to a lady and she said if I withdrawn at a certain date, that I will not owe no money, so I did, the withdraw process is a joke, because it took them 3 days to process it, and then when I get completely withdrawn I get a massive bill from them saying I owe them 13,522.00, out of every college I ve been too and changed my Career path I have never gotten stuff like this, this school is money hungry that s all there is too it, I reported them to the financial aid people, next is the BBB, this school is a joke and needs to be shut down, I m going to end up putting a lawsuit against them, hope they have all my recorded messages because it s going to help me win this. Oh and now I m getting harassing phone calls from them now too, from there student accounts office. Something else to add to the lawsuit. All this for wanting to change to a different school. There a fraud

I never experienced a fully online program before I started going for my masters in business administration. I took a couple of online course before on through a traditional campus and feel they do a good job. I thought in terms of the price compared to other online masters programs were about average and mainly enjoyed the ability to call my own advisors that knew my situation already. At my previous institution, I would have to wait in line for the financial department or to see my counselor, whereas now i just call and for the most part they answer or set up an appointment later that day. I cannot really speak about their undergraduate degrees but I have no complaints. Not perfect, but i don't think any institution. It stinks that some students have had bad experiences but when basing on if the school is a good fit, I would just base it upon your own experience your having. Hope this helps others!

I want to give this school a better rating. I love the instructors and the advisors, however most interactions I've had with the support staff has been mostly just people who have no desire to deal with other people, even if their entire function within the organization is to support those customers.

I finally completed my bachelors degree in business administration with this school...it was a lot of work due to 5 weeks courses but after coming from two other universities and finally completed my degree I was so extremely happy to finally be a graduate... this school made it possible for me to work full time with kids and still be able to complete my degree..it was very convenient in my situation and the hard work paid off...

I am attending this school right now, I am a Veteran, and I hate this place!!! This is my 1st time back to campus, I was doing online, and they are so rude and disrespectful. They know they will get paid because of the VA but once they start getting there over priced payments they no longer care about you. I just moved to Colorado and I rather transfer to a community college. I am writing a late everyday to my congressman til I receive a response. I have provided proof in my letters and will continue to do so. Rude emails, recorded out of line conversations on my phone, and names of the people who went from "Welcome to CTU, too, sorry I can't do anything about that I have no control", but yet makes notes I've seen to say different . This school is a joke! Over priced, not military friendly of survivors, and pretend they have respect. Watch out for me CTU I've even recorded and reported to your local news. I contacted the Army times as well. You shouldn't treat everyone like trash you never know who you are dealing with. I won't watch you abuse my battles anymore and steal our money

I love the instructors and for the most part loved the online program. What I do not like is the fact that they are money hungry and are not very helpful when it comes to setting up ways of paying off your school bills.

I liked the setup of the online classes but I'm not a fan of paying to be ignored. When their instructors decide that they don't want to grade your work or respond to your e-mails the Administration would rather have you pursue your degree elsewhere than rectify the situation. Even after contacting my "Success" "Coach" multiple times regarding my instructor ignoring me and failing to do their job he did nothing... then had the balls to tell me I couldn't continue my education unless I REPAID to take the class AGAIN! No thank you... you screwed me out of my money then told me to pound sand... I'd rather spend my money on an institution that actually cares about their students and has staff that actually do their jobs... like grade my work

This school was a complete waste of my time and money! Not to mention it being my first ever to attend college but they made sure to make me rethink college. I have received numerous letters from them after talking to someone so the reason for them continuing to send them is ridiculous. I also received an email saying it was my final notice when I never received anything regarding this matter so how can it be a final notice? The advisors at this school do not respond to emails so therefore you are just left to struggle without getting any answers! The success coaches only reach out to you when you first start otherwise you never hear from them! Its just a set up! So if you plan on spending money to attend a school I would not recommend you choose this school. Money is all this place is after and they could care less about the students there!!

I am attending CTU for my Doctor of Management degree. I have taken 10 classes online and attended 2 symposiums in Denver. To this point, I have had no issues at all. When there have been tech issues, I simply use the online chat or make a call and the problems have been resolved. While I have had a couple of instructors that were just so-so, the majority have been excellent. It has also been a positive experience meeting many of them in person at the symposiums. I have not had to deal with the finance end of things as my employer pays my tuition directly, so I can't comment on issues people have had there. In regards to the overall school, however, I am happy to be in a doctoral program that is both regionally accredited and recognized/recommended by a large number of Fortune 500 corporations.

I called CTU today and spoke with Francesca!she was very helpful friendly and made sure that I was completely satisfied with my discussion that we had. She helped me in so many ways that I am super excited about finishing my school year I really enjoyed speaking with her! You rock Francesca keep up the good work! I will definitely be visiting this school!

I requested information from CTU about a PhD program. I never received any written information. I did get a call from a sales representative ready to determine my ability to pay for a degree and sign me right up. I asked each time to speak with a faculty member - someone directly involved in the program. I could never get past an admissions advisor or sales person. They refused to give me a phone number, point of contact, etc. I guess you have to sign on the dotted line before you can get full disclosure about the program. Very disappointed!!! I have to believe this is group is only after my money and could care less about my educational goals.

I was looking into doctoral programs and wanted to look into this school because of the online program they offered. I was called by a gentleman who was courteous on the phone. He then transferred me to another department for additional information. The woman that got on the phone was rude and disrespectful from the very beginning as if she didn t want to be on the phone with me. She asked me personal questions and would not elaborate when asked why, she laughed when I asked about grants and assistance programs, and had the nerve to ask me what do you think you know about how we operate when I asked her their process bringing in prospective students. I hung up on her and told the next to callers to delete my number from their database. I won t put names on here, but if I had the opportunity to speak to a director about her, I would. People like this will make an institution look horrible. I do not recommend this institution.

I am in my second year at CTU and almost finished with my Bachelor's Degree in Science and Healthcare Management. For the most part I haven't had any issues with professors or other staff and that's great being a online student.

Complete lack of regard for perspective student time. Appears, at first glance as if they're money Hungary and have no suitable interest in the student themselves, but rather their check book. two stars seems like a fair rating.

Absolutely horrendous experience. After attending for 8 years this school is not willing to accommodate. I need two classes to graduate. They have offered the one class I need on a Saturday morning which I always work. Unwilling to adjust their schedule of the class or substitute a class I'm held in limbo with no degree. To add to the anger that's fueled, I was deployed three times, one of which I came back to find out my degree had been modified and that I was being forced to take additional classes. Is that even legal, who knows? I have tried to talk to the Deen but keep getting thrown around by different heads of different departments. DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. Especially if you are a veteran. Take your GI bill elsewhere.

Do not give these people your phone number. They will call and call and call and call and call. Every minute of every day. I wanted to go into hiding with all these phone calls. And it's also different people you call you each time and THEY ALL ASK YOU THE SAME QUESTIONS OVER AND OVER. I blocked their email and one of their phone numbers SO THEY CALLED AND EMAILED ME FROM DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS. These people are like clingy exs and dont take no for an answer. Please for the love of all things holy STOP CALLING ME PLEASE.

I have no complaints, I started in 2011 and Graduated in 2016 with a Bachelors and Masters. In 2011, I was making under $30K, in a 6 year span I am making 6 figures. Expensive? Yes. A great ROI, he'll yeah. I believe the onus is on individual accountability. Any school you get what you put in, and you get what lessons you apply to your career.

This was a great school only now that I was enrolling elsewhere for my bachelors they have now decided they will not release my transcripts what was the point in getting my associates degree then? What a big waste of time and money now I will never be able to pay on these student loans

It is aggravating when i keep getting calls from this place asking for someone who i do not know. And no matter how many times i tell them do not call they keep calling. Im sure they do not want a lawsuit for harassment.

Their Financial Aid department is the rudest Ive talk to. They sound like collection agency. They don't even try to explained to you the breakdown of your bill. And if you asked them seems like you are the one who can't understand it. You will be surprised that you have this student loan and still owe them money which is due the next month or so. I was trying to withdraw but I still own them the whole semester which 2 classes I haven't taken but they charge me already. I regret it so much I enrolled in this school.

I requested more info from them but decided to attend another college. 4 months later they are STILL calling and emailing me non stop even after I ve told them I m not interested several times. I ll get 4 calls a day sometimes. If you re not 100% sure you want to go here it s best to not even enter any of your contact info anywhere otherwise they ll hound you forever.

They lied to me and took out student loans in my name when I told several people there I did not want student loans. I found out before any money was disbursed, so I didn't get stuck with the bill, but now they won't stop calling me asking me to re-enroll. I have told them several times to never call me again, and still they call.

When I was going to start classes, I spoke with the same counselor almost everyday for 3 weeks, and every time I called she had to ask who I was and remind her of our previous conversations. They do not care about their students, they only care about money.

Jan 9 2017 in co springs we had sustainable winds of 55 miles an hour plus with over 100 mile per hour wind gust. I counted 13 overturned 18 wheelers in a 3 mile stretch of the highway. I decided to turn around when a large truck almost toppled over on my car. I called the school to see why they didn't close school for the day? Btw our schools and city government were shut down and the 3 military bases in the area. They basically told me I could complain to an email address and when I said I wanted to speak to a human I was spoken to very rudely by ctus staff. It's crazy to think that they would put students lives at risk for no reason and there total disregard for the safety of the student is outrageous. I will be leaving this school this story is just the tip of the iceberg. Wow you would get zero stars if I could.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only do these people not take no for an answer but they constantly try to get you to go there EVEN IF THEY DON"T HAVE YOUR DEGREE. They keep calling me and everytime I tell them, No I am not interested, yall don't even have my degree anyways. They come back to say 'if I change my mind'. No. Stop calling me. Stop trying to get me to come to your school. I live across the country and didn't even want to have my info sent to yall.

Pretty bad school but some instructors play extreme favoritism and are absolutely horrible at teaching students. Don't waste your time here.
Updated... dropped to one star. Would go zero but can t. Student accounts out of Chicago are horrible, they now gave me student loans I didn t ask for, enrolled me in classes I said I didn t want to take, which when I dropped they forced me to pay for, and have had 3 teachers drop classes, 2 halfway through , and once the last week of class which then the school didn t know what to do so we watched YouTube in one class until the end, another I was questioned by higher ups and just got a 100 and another the sub has no information on so who knows what we will actually do now. This is a joke. Don t go to here, you will waste your time. I actually had an instructor have me video her for job interviews at other schools.

Love their advisors and programs. My personal favorite advisor is Tom. He is beyond awesome at. Enrolling and advising students. I feel like I am in the best hands when it comes to my education!

If I could give 0 I would! This is a perfect examp...

If I could give 0 I would! This is a perfect example of a school whose top interest is making $$, sadly more so than the students' education. When I first came here a sales person told me that all my student loans would cover the costs of my entire degree program. The required courses for my degree changed multiple times throughout the course of my experience. It wasn't until I was nearing the end did the student adviser come back to me with news that I was short classes and would have to pay $1,000's of dollars out of my own pocket just to finish. Oh wait, but if I want to avoid that I still have to pay $100's to "test out" or submit a life experience credit application. In the end I still had to pay $1,000s on a payment plan. But that's not all! They forgot to tell me that if I didn't continue on to a Master's program with the school they were going to tack on extra fees for no longer being enrolled (I GRADUATED!!) And then if you want to dispute that fee because you were not notified it would be tacked on, just forget it, they won't listen. Beware of all the games they play to make more $$ and of their very unclear accounting practices!!

I did not have a negative experience at this university. Online learning is a challenge; you have the materials that are offered (i.e., text) and other interactive tools which you use to teach yourself. In addition to the textbook, the library has journals/articles for your independent research, your instructors are available by email, and you have your own world wide web at your fingertips to gather any other information you may need. It is up to you to do the work, complete the course, and move closer to the end of your program. This is a learning environment that is self driven (most online programs are). If you are serious about your goals, then all else will fall in line. If you are looking for a hand held teaching atmosphere, then stick with a university that offers classroom instruction because an online/virtual environment may not be the best experience for you.

I never made it past an initial inquiry, and was already disappointed with this organization. I received up to 5 calls every day after submitting a request for information. There was never a voicemail, but calls from the same number. I typically don't answer calls from unknown numbers, and assume if it is an important or business call, there will be a voicemail. I finally answered and expressed my frustration, only to be pressured for information and told they don't leave voicemails. I asked to be removed from their list. They don't need to "trick" me into talking to them when I'm the one who initiated the request. I would rather have the option to contact them back at my convenience, not theirs. If this is how they run their admission process, I am not interested!

Colorado Technical University (CTU) is a for-profit university in the United States. Founded in 1965, CTU offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees, primarily in business, management, and technology. About 92% of Colorado Tech's students are fully online. Colorado Tech has no public or official affiliation with the State of Colorado.

It's an OK online program. However, there are better ones to choose from. I received my associates from CTU last year. The 5 1/2 week courses were sketchy and I didn't learn as much as I would have liked. Recently, I transferred to Colorado State Global and am having a much better experience. Unfortunately I learned the hard way (due to my lack of research). When people ask my advice about going to school, I recommend they go to a non-profit school vs a for-profit.

For those that do not know, CTU is part of a "for-profit" school system. CTU is owned by Career Education Corporation, who owns about 8 different for-profit schools. Unfortunately, many of these schools have failed and or are not doing very well. For-profit schools are more concerned about making money for stakeholders. However, Non profit schools such as CSU Global are state funded and are based on education instead of money.

The biggest reason for transferring is the fact I was told by my Navy officer recruiter that a degree from CTU would not look good for my commissioning package. He recommended a state funded school to get where I wanted to be. He wasn't discrediting CTU, but he was giving insight that it really does matter where you study. CSU global has 8 1/2 week classes and the workload and assignments are much more demanding. Additionally, CSU global makes me feel like I'm actually learning something valuable. I'm not here advertising or telling you to go to CSU Global, rather I want you to learn from my mistakes and research different programs to find your best fit.

One last thing I would like to add.... CTU would call me non stop trying to get me to go to their school. In-fact, they still contact me to this very day trying to get me to finish my bachelors. I keep telling them that I'm almost graduated from Colorado State Global, yet they keep calling. Never experienced this problem with a non-profit school, it doesn't seem normal for a school to sell itself to you.

I really don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. I'm a new student just starting my Master's degree after being a stay at home parent for 3 years. Everything from the enrollment process to financial aid has been fantastic. This is not a school that just hands you a degree you have to work hard to do well. I got my Bachelor's in Political Science at Southern Polytechnic State University which has been known for its challenging degree programs. CTU is up to par with all of the standards I encountered at SPSU. I'm very pleased.

I love CTU and I have no complaints! Of course there were instructors that weren't so good, but others were great! That is the case with pretty much any organization. I don't know what the problem is with people leaving horrible reviews for this school! I will graduate from CTU in January with a 3.93 GPA and you best believe that I worked very hard for it! EVERY school, whether online or brick and mortar, has its pros and cons! There are good instructors as well as bad ones and there will be some who succeed and some who don't! You will get out of CTU just what you put into it as with ANY college.

Very polite and helpful advisors! I love how they treated me with respect and we're very helpful with any questions I've had so far. They also helped walk me through things so I could get a better understanding of how all the online stuff works! Very impressed and would definitely recommend CTU!!!

I like CTU online. The initial start up was confusing for me because I'm not one for technology and I was- still am- doing it on a broken phone. I find CTU to be helpful, knowledgeable people. The only issue I have is that their is no help in getting a lap top or computer- and trying this on a broken cell phone that I'm getting cut on the smashed screen isn't fun. When I asked about it, it was suggested I borrow one from someone or just go to the library.
All in all, I would suggest CTU online to someone I knew.

I am currently in my 2 year. I had to drop down to part time bc of family and work obligations. This school has been wonderful. There will always be the negative people post . I am currently almost in my 3rd year of my bachelors degree. I have loved my classes. I think that there was only 1 instructor that wasnt wonderful but that happens and I still am able to achieve a 4.0 GPA which is awesome and I am taking my state test to be an administrative assistant in a couple months which is awesome. I have learned so much.

I graduated from CTU in March of 2016 with my Associates in Health Administrative Services and I have only wonderful things to say about this program, I never once had a bad experience, my experience was wonderful and my admissions persons was absolutely amazing/awesome.

Almost made the mistake of attending this place. This school was one of my choices for a masters degree but I decided to go with another. After that would get relentless calls hounding me to consider coming back or acting as if I did not formally withdraw from the application process. (All after I left 2 voice mails, talked to a rep over the phone, and sent an e-mail). Also notcibly ruder once they realized you weren't leaving a dime.

I cannot speak to their class or instructor quality (although did it find it odd that a master program in information security only had 5 week long classes) but any school that begs for and students should be looked at with a raised eyebrow. Schools getting rejected over another should be a common enough practice not to warrent the used car sale's man approach.

Please do not waste your time with this school! All they care about it money! All of the people you need to get in touch with whether it be your advisor, teacher, or financial adviser, you won't be able to get up with them, and if you do get up with them they are rude. I spoke to my advisor once and that was through an e-mail they never answered my phone call or anything. The instructors are the same way they do not care. Don't wast anytime with this horrible school, all they want is your money.

Unless you're a COLORADO student the tuition is ridiculously high. I recommend ANY school based in your state.
After I withdrew, for my own reasons, I owed a bill that caused me to lose any financial aid for any school. I recently paid the debt through a collection agency that updates them weekly on payments. However, CTU keeps claiming they take 45 days to inform them. Instead of being happy they got paid and allowing me to receive my transcripts they are acting like there's nothing they can do until the 45 day mark. As though a receipt from the collection agency isn't enough to lift the hold on my account...

Straight up predatory. Listen to the other reviews - Dont waste your time or money. All sales people and all they care about is money. A school with such a low graduation rate is not normal. I made a huge huge mistake coming here.

I've been a student for a few months now, and i can honestly say that they are a great school. From the time i signed up , to the time they got me logged in, to the time they got me a credit for my classes and helping me with the direction i want to go with my music branding help. I am in the right class and i have a b-( could be better) ,but adding into my daily hustle working as a mover , it helps me in so many ways, so thanks CTU i have nothing but good things to say, and my grades reflect my happiness with you guys-thanks

First, I didn't study with this institution but I contacted them for information one month ago...very bad idea because since then they are emailing and calling me all the time. Just for today, I've got an email (alaways from a different person) at 10.30am and a phone call around 12.30pm. I spoke to a representative about two weeks ago and explained that I had decided not to get my degree with them, I found out that their credits don't tranfer much and some online classes are not always available so you have to go on campus (I'm in California...?!) or wait until... avalability. But they keep sending me emails and the most annoying calling me. Today, I ask the person on the phone to remove my name from their lists but he mentionned that I might get calls from other universities?!?!!! So I would not recommend this institute because to me it does not sound very serious to deal with people that don't respect others. Avoid even to contact them.

This place is a joke. Debra Marshall s was my advisor while I was applying. I was upfront with her that before I wanted to move forward I still wanted to hear back from another school. She then freaked out on me and told me that I had to go to CTU. All I did was apply. I was upfront that I needed to wait until September 2nd to find out about the other school. for the 2 weeks I had to wait I got called 3-4 times A DAY for my answer. When I got accepted to the other school and decided to go there Debra again got rude with me. Still to this day I get called once or twice a week asking when I m going to move forward with this school. I ve had 3 other people try to push me to go to this school. I m annoyed with having to explain why I would never go to this school. I don t need to be asked why I chose another school over this one.

It is expensive, yes. But, I haven't had any problems with instructors/advisors. So far I do like this school. I'd rather pay the extra money to get a what I feel is a better education. Specially for being online. I've tried 1 other online school and it was confusing and complicated. This one is simple and I've already learned so much!

I didn't go here because of the negative experienc...

I didn't go here because of the negative experience from the start. I requested information about the school and received a call the next day from Rueben Perez, an admissions advisor for the school. At first he was nice but he was very pushy which leads me to believe that they receive commission for student enrollment. What further substantiates my beliefs is the fact that I was put in a class before receiving financial aid or having my transfer credits evaluated. When I questioned this Mr. Perez became irate to the point where I had to disconnect the call. Next thing I know, I received an email staing that I had been withdrawn as a student which I never requested. Then today, I got an email saying that my credits had been evaluated and that I could transer 91 credits to their Bachelor's program which is fine except I already have a bachelor's degree and was supposed to be in the Master's program! Unorganized, unprofessional and definitely not somewhere I want to be a student of.

Update: the reply from CTU is a lie and a ploy to discredit my review but I have receipts and will gladly post the emails! Also, there is no way possible a shouting match between your advisor and I didn t get recorded and I seriously doubt any real effort was exerted to truly find the truth as it s much easier to deny and lie! I did eventually take some classes after being contacted by another advisor who was much nicer! Jinny Khosho is very polite and it s just unfortunate that she chose this institution to work for. It started off good until I realized that several of the couses that I was scheduled to take were a part of a set of classes that were kind of like electives in that I need a certain number of them and that I was to choose which ones I wanted to take, however, I was never given the choice and when I questioned this I was told that I should have been told my options but that in order to make the changes, I would have to wait until June! I still don t understand why I have to wait until then to make changes to classes I m not scheduled to take until I m almost done. Any other school allows future changed to be made immediately. The last straw for me is the fact that I specifically asked if CTU classes required group work as that is a deal breaker for me and I was told by Mr. Perez himself that I would not have any group work. Well guess what yall!? This class I m in right now has a group assignment. Between the deceit and blatant lies clearly exhibited in the comment below I can honestly say that CTU is not a good investment and I will be transferring to another school after this class. I would be embarrassed to know that my organization was operating this way, but we obviously now live in a world where ethical behavior is quickly becoming extinct.

Michael Garrard in financial aid will not help you, will not return your emails, calls, nothing. Debrian the last guy that worked there was similar. I provided him with my high school diploma and then he quit and didn't forward it on. I don't know whats going on there, there's a trend going in that financial aid department.

I am in the process of applying for Doctor of Management - Homeland Security and plan on using my GI Bill. The admissions department called me to speak to me about my application process, the first women I spoke with lacked in customer service and professionalism. As I was transferred to another department, they had no idea what level of degree I was trying to pursue and then I was put on hold for well over 30 minutes I had to hang up I waited long enough . I never even made it passed the initial admissions phone call and my first impression is the school lacks in organization, professionalism, and caring for potential and current students.

Beware do not go here they bag you to stay and lie about everything try to get 5600 for associate degree and still lies after I ask them about it. Fake admissions they will harassed people to stay. They need to be shut down. No One deserves to be tested the way the lie and treat their students their crazy people just for to ron you for your money and it take at least 3 years to get one degree. If they mess with me again I'm calling the cops. They offer nothing but course just for the money and I heard their course ain t any good they ruin my whole College experience with them. It's just awful weird fake mess. The way they think they can make you explain your next steps.

I never made it to my enrollment date but the adviser was very pleasant when I was signing up. After reviewing my financial aid award and deciding it was too costly for me, he was rude and basically told me I wasted hi time. The school is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Its outrageous, however I do like the explained setup of how their classes work.

It s sad that only people with bad experiences submit reviews. I m in my third year online and I absolutely love it! The teachers know their stuff and are always reliable. Plus if you ever encounter a professor who you have troubles with, there are many other staff members that can help you just over the phone!

WORST Financial Aid Department!!!!! They cold call you then get upset when you don't answer. Then you call them back and everyone's busy so you can't talk to anyone. If you are lucky enough to talk to someone they can't add 2 plus 2 or tell you what 'calendar year' means. I spent 1 hr and 10 mins on the phone trying to straighten out my financial aid. They transferred me 5 times, and they weren't communicating with one other so each time I was transferred I had to explain the problem all over again. Finally I decided I best just speak with a manager, but every time I call-in they are conveniently in a 'meeting'. They've cheated me out of thousands!

Thank GOD I'm rid of this school next month!

I started signing up for this school and realized ...

I started signing up for this school and realized that it just wasn't for me and I would prefer to go to school traditionally. They started out very nicely but then as soon as I wished to end my enrollment to pursue a more better opportunity, they were all over the place. They sent me to 3 different people on the phone, and didn't really explain much. And when I spoke to the admissions person (Beatrice Keys) , her tone became very rude. The sweet voice she pulled completely dropped and she turned immediately unprofessional and ended the phone call with a rude "Bye". I understand it's your job to pull people into your school but you are to maintain professional attitude until the end of EACH client. I was not rude and I even ended the conversation nicely. I could understand if I WAS an ass, but I wasn't. She cut me off before I finished speaking and was trying to explain things that was explained to me from another and she assumed it was a lie when I SPOKE to another admissions person at my preferred college who said it was TRUE.

After many warnings from others (which wasn't what influenced me but it sure did come to light), it was true and in the end they showed their real colors. Unorganized and A happy face mask.

Good luck if you do attend. And Good luck if you wish to run.

Sorry this school is simply not the best for me.

I had my up's and down's with CTU online, which I ended up earning my degree earlier this year. some of the instructors were a joke and you also had the ones that were pretty good. but overall the school was good and I did learn a lot while attending in CTU.

P.S. just to let you know keep track of your money.

I have received both my associates and bachelors (...

I have received both my associates and bachelors (business) from CTU. I am currently earning my masters (all in business). There are both pros and cons about this school. The program is amazing! It is real-life scenario based and can be easily applied to the real world. However, on the downside - the financial aid department is HORRIBLE. They are poorly trained and they are great at assuming (you know what they say when you assume). After my associates degree, I found they cannot be trusted. They ALWAYS refund to much and then put your account on hold (literally the next day after they send you the stipend). My suggestion is if you receive a refund - DO NOT spend it. While it can be tempting (unless you are a millionaire), make sure you they do not populate a balance before paying bills or going on a shopping spree. If you do (have a balance) - pay it or if you spend some of it (the stipend) make payment arrangements immedately. There is no use in calling them when it happens - they are CLUELESS. With all the money we pay them, I would think they would put more money into training one of the most important departments (could just be me). Why did I stay? Once I figured out the financial aid portion, the program is great! If you attend now and your problem is the financial aid - learn the system yourself and manage your own funds (we can't expect them to do their job...right??). Additionally, I feel more comfortable handling/monitoring my own financial aid anyway - do not leave thousands of dollars in the hands of untrained employees. If you do not want a refund (stipend) them calculate it yourself - DO NOT let them do it. If you are planning on attending CTU - if you are responsible and good at time management (or willing to learn), you will do just fine. Attendance to the live chats are not mandatory, make sure you submit at least one assignment a week (to avoid them calling you and emailing every five minutes), submit assignments early if you can. They have a early access period - this is a great time to get an idea of what your assignment will be (you can't actually submit), use this time to knock some of those assignments out early (do them and save them in a folder on your desktop), this way by week 4 you are done and have a week to kick your feet up (before the next session starts). TAKE THE FAST TRACKS - however, keep in mind, they are NOT transferable and DO NOT go towards your GPA (in other words don't stress about getting an A, just pass the thing) - if you plan on staying then go for it (they save hella time) example: I have only been at the school since 2014 and will be done with my Masters in 2018 - but I also did a lot of overloading. If you are considering changing schools or just want to "try it out" - DO NOT take the fast tracks they mean nothing to other schools. They need some upgrading (technology wise) but they are working on it. Every session they are adding something new. Another downfall is they only have one graduation per year which is ridiculous. They should have one in winter and one in summer. They do not have a large turnout for their graduations (in other words most people just graduate virtually) because if they have to wait for over a year to walk - its pointless. Sorry that this is one long run on sentence, but I hope it is helpful for someone.
They have a virtual library - yeaaaaa just use Google.
Career services - meh (they are helpful with formatting resume's not much more)
Alumni - not many perks, a small discount here and there but that's it.
Reminders:
Financial Aid SUCKS - manage your own funding (you would not give 50,000 dollars to a 5 years old and tell them not to mess up your money, would you? Same concept here).
DO NOT spend your stipend (side note: if you get anything larger than 1500 there is a problem)
Do assignments early
Keep pushing - hang in there no matter where you go to school

If I think of anything else, I will write another post.

I signed up with this place hope for a good school but, with Due Rudeness I would just soon cancel everything and all loans as I am not getting anywhere with people for some help with tech support, your STUDENT ADVISOR doesn't bother checking to see if everything is going alright and now all I get is a run around. IF YOUR A SCHOOL THEN ACT LIKE IT! If it wasn't for the money right now being paid out and me having to pay it back, I would get out of this school as they are not helpful at all their Tech Support is lousy and can't speak good English. The only good thing about this is the teacher I have right now and Robin Argo, I like otherwise, I can't stand this school and I wish never joined at all. I just want the money paid back to the grants from the school and not charge me at all for such low de-meaner. You really need to improve your school before taking money from anyone. I really wish I had chose this school. You're nothing but, a school out to get the money from every source and not care about the students that attend. You may get good reviews but, I have seen more bad reviews than good. I WISH I COULD GET OUT OF THIS SCHOOL AND NOT OWE ANY MONEY!!!

I used to go to this school and since I transferred colleges they won t send my transcripts. The instructors don t even talk to you and help you with your questions. The prices were way to high for me and I have two kids to take of care.

I received my MBA working a full time job and having an infant at home. I was impressed at the admission process. They actually called my references (husband and supervisor) to make sure I had adequate support to be successful. And now I teach online because of the experience I've had at CTU.

If only i could give 0 stars. I dont even remember requesting information. They called me and i wanted to be polite and hear them out. At the end of it they pushed me into applying and then enrolled me. I had to tell them twice to unenroll me because I am not currently wanting to start college. Such a waste of my time.

I am in my 9th week have fast tracked out of 4 classes and passed my first class and halfway through my second class..there is always someone to talk to on the phone thru the virtual campus or email also chat groups..so for me at almost 20credits. So if you fail or don't get a loan or anything it's because you did not utilize the tools they give you.. I recommend at least the online program.
