got denied even though I'm fully qualified because I refused to work for free for 9 months for goodwill and wouldn't give her access to my medical and therapy records because she's not a doctor.

In some areas of disabilities they are swamped in others they are not if you have qualifying disability and they have space for you they do pretty good job.

Sincere and dedicated, they want to help you find the right type of work and help you find the job that works for you! I have used their services, I do not work for them. I am a real person, lol, not a robot. They are there to help, but can only do that if you reach out to them.

Love the D. v R n what they offer and what they can do for people at a disadvantage. The staff Makes them feel good, normal, and like we are not alone. Good 2 know some one cares

The Divisional Vocation of Rehabilitation has great staff. If you have any kind of Disabilities or need help looking for work to just to get a jump start in school for a career, then DVR may be able to help.

I have been working with DVR for about a year now. They are very helpful when a disability is what stands between you and work.

Great help getting my husband back to work after losing his vision.

I was expecting a lot of naysayers and people unwilling to help, but was pleasantly surprised by the staff's concern and regard for my case.

Their work is good but they really do need to get work counselors more time understanding what jobs are available in the immediate area.

You get the runaround. Its too far north. When it was located just before down town it was accessable and i was employed gainfully within 2 months. Its taken me 2 months to repeat what we disgussed last month.
What could be done over the phone in a few minutes takes 3 hours of riding and waiting for busses.

I worked with the DVR for years. And they did exactly nothing for me. And - I put the work in, went to every meeting, etc. Ruth was honest and kind. Priscilla promised me some help that I was seeking regarding equipment. I went through every step of the process, including getting a form DVR gave me signed by my doctor.

Turns out, Priscilla lied to me. Not only about that, but about other things as well. Then, she tried to blame me for her errors. But, that didn't work out so well for her because I had recorded some of those calls and archived emails that substantiate her deliberate negligence.

I would have accepted her apology and not posted this review, if she wasn't too prideful to not say the words 'I'm sorry' to me for getting my hopes up and then crushing them and then topping that behavior off with rudeness.

I went out and got my current job by myself (which I love). In fact, every job that I had in the years that I worked with DVR - I got on my own with no help whatsoever from the DVR.

DVR is a 110% a waste of time. This entity is a rouse, sham, etc. Everything that you could learn here - you could learn the same thing(s) in about 1-7 days of watching YouTube videos on the web.

Bottom line, they didn't care enough about my disabilities to actually REALLY help me. And I REALLY needed help during those years.

The DVR exists so that the government can make a claim that they are doing something to try and help vulnerable people and disabled people get back into work. The truth of the matter is that these DVR offices do very very little to meaningfully help people.

If you read my review - then I would like to thank you for getting this far. I have loads of information as regards this entity being such an awful established inside of the DVR folder within my Gmail account.

Please don't waste your time by associating yourself with them, don't say that I never warned you.

DONT CHOOSE CHARITY CARES AGENCY. I know DVR s purpose is to help people. But i can t turn the other cheek anymore. I can t support an organization that ignores the truth behind Charity Cares Agency. Charity Cares Agency didn t help my son in any way shape or form. Through out these couple of years Linda hardly met with my son and never even got him a volunteer sight. All he wanted was to be a part of something. A part of the community. Why does it take over 1 year to find a site for my son? The biggest waste of time. Not to mention she always had new employees. My son couldn t even have the same job coach for 3 months. What s the deal with that? It makes you wonder, doesn t it? Are they just in it for the money? Linda (Director) and James (Manager) haven t even reported that their address changed?? Fishy if you ask me. They also had my sons file out in the open half the times I went. It has my sons CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION for anyone to grab. DVR, please investigate this company because they re taking money from people for services they re not receiving and does not follow HIPAA Law. Very disheartening.

Poor customer service did not update there door post and open hours they they refuse to update both I have pictures to prove that they did not update the door posts will not recommend no one to them

Gave me a run around, and offered services. But failed in delivering the services afterwards.

DVR helped me in the past. It was nice to know I can have someone to help me out.
