We had a very fun family day!!! I only would like they have a big cafeteria
Book online and arrive early! This place is SO much more organized and offers online booking. The hills were super FAST and fun! I HIGHLY recommend booking online and getting there before noon. As long as the lines were at noon, in an hour, we got in about 5 runs. If you get there earlier, you might be able to get in more. They have digital check in when you arrive (in the event you did not book online) and a coffee shop inside. We really enjoyed it. But it was crowded. We arrived around noon and there was a short line and check in was easy. When we left at 1:15, there was a line out the door and the parking lot was full.
Great time tubing. Cost was very reasonable and they weren't strict on the time allotment
Great tubing place, sad thing time flies too fast! Price is reasonable, but it be great if time could be extended. We had two hour double tubes. Fun for everyone! Tubes do look and feel a bit small for an adult, but kids were fine. Hill is perfect, no bumps. You can slide in groups, by locking tubes together with straps. Helmets are provided ( inluded in ticket price) My recommendation is to start early, try to get there like 10 or 11am as the latest, as it gets crowded. As it gets crowded, sliding will be slower due to a line and thus limiting the number of slides you will be able to do i 1 hour. I would estimate approximately 5 slides an hour with kids, so plan accordingly. Also, if kids will be hungry for MoArr (yep, no mistake) but time will lapse, you can go to downtown WinterPark, there is a park which has a small downhill, right in front of a stage, it also may have some free sleds to ride - great for.smaller kids, like 7 and under and its free. Restaraunts are right next to it, so you can have a quick bite. Parking is very convenient but limited. Have fun!
Had a great time! Get goggles or glasses if it's snowing.
So much fun!! Definitely got for the 2 hourse. The staff are super friendly.
Our experience here was really good, we all had such a great time on the tubes! Our kids also went on the motor scoots afterwards, and we can not thank Lukas enough for how great he was with our family. He really is a credit to the place and made our visit that extra special! The kids absolutely loved it, thank you again for the great memories made :)
The hill was fun and the people mover that takes you back up is easy to get on and off. The kids running the show in the office must have had a long day because their people skills were pretty rough.
Dangerous!. No one monitoring tube take-offs at the top of hill. Someone came down right after me and hit me. Severe ankle fracture. Stay away!!
Pricy. They are really busy on the weekends so you don't get in as many rides as you could on a regular weekday. Also be sure to check the conditions because the wind was really crazy on the top the day we went
Perfect for families with small kids. You can go for tubing and ski bikes
Will not be returning. I ve been tubing at Keystone several times, so I was thinking that this would be similar. It was not. Pros-1. Parking was close to the hill. 2. Pricing was cheaper than some places. 3. Hill was smooth and well maintained. Cons-1. Hill for small children was closed due to lack of snow. They make their own snow, but apparently only use it for the larger tubing hill(this is what we were told). If you have small children, call first so that you don t waste a trip. 2. Staff in charge of ticketing was overwhelmed and didn t seem to be able to answer questions. 3. Dangerous. No staff were present at the top of the hill to guide riders. This would be fine assuming that all patrons have common sense about safety. No mandatory safety video prior. There was one gentleman at the bottom of the hill that was in charge of clearing the area and making sure that no one got pummeled into. He failed miserably. This is not because of the volume of people coming down the hill-he just didn t seem to be interested in performing his job. Several people were attempting to move the tubes from the bottom of the hill, but were run into by riders coming down. My niece was pushed so hard that she fell out of her tube and onto her head. Tickets were sold even after they ran out of helmets for children. Conveyor belt/lift should be wider to accommodate the tubes. Several riders got stuck or pushed to the side because the tubes were hung up on the metal on either side of the belt. 4. Dirty. Cow patties everywhere-watch where you walk! Ladies restroom toilet was old and dirty and had a small remnant of a handle to flush. Toilets are not that expensive, people.
Long story short, I would rather pay a few dollars an hour more to tube in a clean and safer facility.
Great fun tuning, but get the tickets online for much faster line
Friendly staff and a fun activities for both kids and "big kids". We went at night and was perfect; not crowded at all. We came back the next day and kids wanted to ride the snowmobiles. But they were not prepared and said they "may, or may not run them today." I was pretty confused, there was plenty of snow on the ground, and it was snowing that day, and I was not going to wait around all day to find out. They turned away another family that walked in right behind us to. Would have given them 4 or 5 stars, but the lack of preparation and ambiguous information did not help at all.
Fun place to go tubing but the lines are looooooonnnnnnnggg
Not to the level I expected. Check in, welcomes everything went well. They need to get the staff on snow mobile and stuff little more friendly. I was there for fun. Not to be snow mobile professional. The guide, he may be professional and good at it. That is his living. He has to help me to enjoy my ride. He sounded like ... people lose confidence.
Awesome place !!!
$24 per person or
$38 per 2
Had a great time tubing with the family, and the little snowmobiles were awesome for the kids!
Had a great time night tubing, great staff, price, and atmosphere
Amazing!!! The tubing hill is crazy FAST but still melo/safe enough for kids. The kids sleds were awesome but had to wait about an hour because they only have 4 snow machines. Overall, an affordable and memorable day for everyone.
Super fun, but slightly dangerous. Nobody is regulating when you go down so people are fairly reckless. Our daughter was knocked off of her tube by a group who went too quickly after her. Definitely fast and fun, but be cautious and move out of the way quickly when you reach the bottom. You can ride solo, double or tandem. Free parking and they supply helmets.
Fun family activity! Beautiful area, love the music playing, nice fire pit to hang out around. The hill was fast and nicely groomed. They have a variety of lines to choose from depending on how adventurous you are. Kids also loved sliding on the fun hill at the bottom afterwards.
It was our first time ever vacationing in Colorado. My kids, wife and I had a great time tubing at Colorado Adventure Park. Great customer service with friendly staff who guided us what packages to take and how to have fun.
Tip: we took 2 hour package but was very tired after an hour. Maybe it was our first time. But I think 1 hour is more than enough for this adventure. Go after 4pm where there is less crowd and you ll be able to do more rounds.
Went today....hot spring day...hill was very icey.......all greens closed....so we tried blue fir first and only run...at the bottom was a big ice divit that all of us were guided into....needless to say my wife and sister in law ended up in ER. Sister in law slammed her face on ice after flying out of tube....wife suffered.concussion after hitting her head on ice. They shut the blue down after our.incident....only black was left....felt sorry for families with small kids coming today.... We know the dangers.....however i felt this should have been closed due to the hazards.. no offer for refund...nothing.....hospital bills wont be cheap...thanks! Very steep for little kids....we were very lucky my kids age 3 and 4 were ok....im sure that it is safer when more snow is present....today was a bad day for us....
Way fun place to go. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend
Tubing was a blast, first time on snow and not behind a boat
Strong Arm Company pushing in right next to the Original Fraser Tubing hill! I myself will not support them.
What an amazing place , this was my first time out on the snow and I loved it !
Loved this place. Friendly staff and lots of snow. Great for the family!
Fun experience at this place. We all had a great time. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and their parking lot is huge. I definitely recommend this place for families or couples you will not be disappointed.
Good place for snow tubing. Reasonable prices and a nice fast slope.
I don't even know where to begin but I sure as heck can say one thing that the staff is more than great they are so awesome over there I have been there 4 days in a row and I'm about to go 1 more my kids love it they love the staff everybody's so friendly the amenities are great I can go on and on I am here from Florida on a vacation and has had a great time especially at Colorado Adventure Park I will be coming back here again and letting everybody and anybody know about this place very clean comforting friendly environment and would tell any and everyone to go again the staff was great love you guys Molly and Sam you guys were great thank you for everything Michael as well
The tubing was so much fun. We loved it as much as our 9 year old son. This is definitely a must-do when in town.
Hot chocolate and beer decent prices blast for kids and adults
This was so fun! The price was great too. We had an amazing time with the family.
Im from Texas and this was a great expirence for me and my girlfriend. Staff was great and just a perfect environment. Always keep a lookout for runaway tubes haha.
Best hill for tubing . My only concern would be staffing issues. They really need to have more staff focused on safety. I and my daughter were trying to get moving out of the way once down a hill. A 6 year old in a snowsuit doesn't move too fast. The group of tubers after us were not doing their part in paying attention. We got hit . My daughter did a complete flip and landed safely. Unfortunately I hit the snow packed solid ground backwards with the back of my head taking the brunt of the hit. If properly staffed we could've avoided the whole thing. But great tubing hill nonetheless.
The hills are wonderful and there are actually several tubing hills and companies there. Fraser is about a 5-minute drive, which was fine since we had a rental (gotta get there from the Denver airport somehow). The company we went to was Colorado Adventure Park, and they have multiple options for easy and expert aka fast hills. You go up the conveyer belt road with your tube and send yourself down whichever hill you want. Young kids need to be in a double tube with someone, so we got one single tube and one double, and trade off who our kiddo rode with. They don t really police your time, and you go up and down the hills at will. Much more freedom, different hills, more open space, allowing for more fun. Totally recommend.
Great tubing, lots of fun for a group. A great place to conquer your fear of heights!
Lots of fun! Get there early if you want to tube! The line gets long after 11pm.
Nice place and loved it. The only complaint is there is no instructor or some one who will push the tube down the hill so it's difficult and people may run into each other and get hurt.
The tubing was fun for all ages. The snowmobiling was really fun and provided gorgeous views but can be a little bit scary if you tend to get anxious.
The hill is fun but its overpriced and the staff really need to improve their customer service skills. I'll be checking out the fraser or winter park hills next time.
Pretty place. Saw a concert here so not sure how to rate it
A fun place to take family. Staff was friendly and nice too. The weather was amazing (I know they can t control the weather) and the snow was perfect. The hill reminded me of the bunny hills I learned to ski on. I will definitely be going back
Loved it great experience, there was a much much smaller hill for the little ones which was great for my 4 yr old; beautiful scenery.
Went here for a friend s Bday and it was way more fun and exciting than expected.
Adults are about 25$ for a hour for a single tube.
My Family and I came here from Dallas based on the reviews from Fraser's Tubing. They are next to each other with Fraser's on the Left and Colorado Adventure on the right. This one definitely is the better deal. 4+ different hills with an escalator to carry ya up the hill. They had an outdoor fire to keep ya warm. We went for an hour and ended up purchasing another hour because no one wanted to leave. Definitely use "common sense" when going downhill or the natural selection may take over. That being said, it is a very safe environment. The staff is super friendly! We'll be back.
The snow tubing was a great backup to all the ski resorts being closed. Would be better for everyone if they lowered the age of where you didn't have to have a helmet.
While we enjoyed the tubing itself I found their business practices to be slightly shady. We followed the huge signs for parking thinking we were going to a place I found online and had a $2 coupon for. Turns out they weren't that place and their rate was $2 higher. Without the coupon it was $28 more for us than it would have been next door.
They actually share the same hill. I was told the owner intentionally placed those signs to steal their competitors business. It's my beliefs they should at least honor the $2 per person coupon for people they've misled. I expressed my opinion and stated I was going to write a review and was told it didn't matter, they have plenty of business. Contradicts the need to steal their neighbors business I'd say. If none of that bothers you the tubing was fun, but that was our first time so I have no comparison.
Great snow tubing early in the season thanks to them making snow. Another park is directly next to it but they did not make snow.
We had a lot of fun here. We came on a Thursday during spring break and arrived right when it opened. We had the whole hill to ourselves for at least 20min. The staff was friendly, check in was painless and there was no charge for helmets for the kids. We loved the spread out feel of the hill cause even when more people showed up there was plenty of space for everyone.
Visited on 12/27/17. It was at capacity and we (8 of us) were placed on a 30-45 minute waitlist. Followed up twice and both times we were 15-20 minute waits away from our tubes. Left to eat after two hours and we were never called
Very fun and worth the cost, but you need to bring the proper snow gear to truly enjoy it, because there is a chance for wind
Such a great place to take our whole family! Every one of our kids loved it..a lot better setup than other parks in the area. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back..a new family tradition!!
Make reservations ahead of time. Especially if it's near a holiday. Slightly disorganized staff unprepared to handle large volumes of people so the waits and directions are frustrating. The hill can accommodate more people than the staff can. Tubing is fun though if you get to go.
Horrible! We arrived at about 1p on a Wednesday and were told to wait 30 minutes. We waited but the wait kept growing everytime we checked. When we finally did get to go on (after 2 hours of waiting), we literally almost flew into the carpet line where everyone was going up. It was horribly managed and absolutely not worth the price.
Great times to be had here. Very fast tube hill for a reasonable price. Our family did one hour and when our time was up we were all beat. We can't wait for our next adventure there and will be back as soon as we can.
Great place!!! Way better than tubing Frazier Park.
One of the best place to visit for snow tubing. We loved it!
The tubing was fun and fast. For a real thrill go off the high peak.
Really fun for family s loved the snowmobiles but there is also tubing!
I was able to turn the clock back, for a bit, and be a carefree kid for a couple of hours. Great for all ages!
Uplift hill works pretty well, and there are helmets that you can use included in the fee.
Once you are ready to go with your snow tube, there is no one to give instructions or to oversee the safety. I saw two employees in a booth at the top of the hill, but they just stayed talking to each other for the hour that we were at the park. If you are looking for a safe experience with the family, probably this won't be the best place for you.
Picking up and dropping the tubes did not have any employees to receive them.
There are no formal bathrooms; they did have portable restrooms when we visited, but they were close to being full and with kids is a challenge to use them.
There is a fire pit with broken chairs, it looks mediocre and is not clean.
The parking lot was full of ice, I do not have experience is such weather, but some salt won't hurt.
The "Bossman" as he describes himself was less than helpful and enjoys yelling and call it part of his job as well as rudeness.
Colorado Adventure Park's main feature is the tubing hill, with prices in the ten dollar range. The park is well run, and the hill has an escalator to bring tubes to the top to prevent getting excessively with out. It is overall an amazing experience in the area.
