Worst experience of my life bought a 2015 renagade which every other weekend would not start in the morning. I took my car in so they can tell me whats wrong 3 times finally they told me we don't know whats wrong with the car. They never care to give an explanation then they actually try to sell me another renagade 2016 for the price of an used Mercedes. .finally we went to Mazda got rid of the piece of crap & have been so happy ever since. Wosrt place i have ever done business. I hope this doesn't happen to another person.

So when I went to get new tires I was asked for the wheel lock key. Well I had no idea what they were talking about. I was never given wheel lock key. This car was brand new. It also didn t have a manual. I was ordered a new manual. No one ever mentioned wheel lock key. When this was brought to colonial souths attention I was told the was nothing they could do!!! Because there should have been a paper I should have received when I bought the car the gave a number of the key which of course that was also missing!! They suggested I go and pay to have them broken off. Needless to say I was irritated with the lack of help being offered! I was told a manager would call me. Well that never happened!! I will never buy a car from them again!! Stay away from colonial south in Dartmouth ma

Went there to see how much I could get for my 2008 toyota camry hybrid and to test drive a 2015 jeep patriot sport. They didnt have the 2015 jeep patriot sport but they gave me an awesome deal on a 2015 jeep patriot laditude. I got the deal of a life time and could not walk away from it. I'm very happy with the jeep and would recommend the dealer ship to anyone and everyone.

These guys are great. Really go above and beyond. Lacey went out of her way on a Sunday to get me scheduled for a test drive the next day before the vehicle I wanted had the chance to sell. And she kept me updated on its status and was flexible when I had to keep adjusting my schedule.

Salesman Owen is phenomenal. Super low pressure environment, kind and easy to talk to. Not your typical fake personality type person - true to his word and down to earth. This guy seriously went out of his way to make sure every detail I was concerned about was taken care of. Even while juggling multiple customers at once always checked in with me on the status of the service/paperwork etc. Very honest and truthful about my trade in value. After I brought the vehicle home he has still been texting advice regularly on how to set different features up in my Wrangler and how to safely handle the removable top, among other things. Really above and beyond behavior that I did not expect. You're lucky if you get to purchase a vehicle from this guy.

Went in looking for a new truck. Salesman did nothing but waste my time. Had a jeep Rubicon ended up purchasing from another dealership since their sales department was so ineffective. Incredible 2 years later i go back to look at a new truck again and the staff just ignores you. So this place blew another chance to sell me a vehicle. Guess another dealer gets my business yet again.

Bought a Ram 1500 Bighorn from Chris this past weekend. It started off as a lease that didn't quite work out and ended up with me buying an even better truck instead. Chris spent hours and hours with us. Upwards of 10 hours over 3 days and he was perfectly happy to do it. Very good sales rep who did his part perfectly.

Going in to a car dealership you know there is a certain routine you have to deal with. Back and forth between the sales rep and manager etc. It's just baked into the process. I put that aside when writing this because in the end I got a great deal. They were even willing to drop their price more to match a discount from another dealership. They were also willing to give me more for my trades than a local Chevy dealership would have. Again, there was a lot of back and forth with this but all that matters is that in the end I was happy with the outcome. In the end the manager, Tim came directly out to deal with me and we reached an agreement.

From there it was in to see Eddie to discuss finances and extended warranty. Eddie really did a great job getting me the best finance rate possible. He probably spent over an hour just playing one bank against another until we were happy.

We ran into an issue with the extended warranty. I came back in the next day to discuss it with Eddie and without any problems at all, he fixed the issue and I was very satisfied with the results.

I highly suggest people do their research on extended warranties before they finalize the deal. For relatively short money you can extend a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty into an 8 year one covering just about everything. Just make sure you look around online and look to see what people have been paying before you commit to anything.

I walked in and almost leased a truck I was ok with and ended up walking out buying an even better one at a much better price.

The new 2019 Ram 1500 line, from the Big Horn up is flat out a luxury vehicle disguised as a truck that can work hard. It's beautiful inside and out and still tough. Highly recommend you look at some reviews and check out the features.

Awful customer service!!!! My Jeep was dead in my driveway and i was about to tow my car into Colonial. Called the service dept to let them know it was coming in and they informed me they had no openings for 9 days. 9 days?!?!? I told the woman in service that I couldn't wait that long. Can the issue be diagnosed and if it was covered under my warranty, I would need a loaner car (which is covered). She told me they had no loaners and there was a long waiting list for them. And thet wouldnt be looking at my car any time soon. I wasnt happy with her answer and asked to speak to her supervisor. She gave me an attitude and told me they wouldn't tell me different. She took my name and number 4 days ago and I'm still waiting for that supervisor to call me back!

We had the issue resolved at another shop but now there is a computer issue. My husband physically went by Colonial to ask for an appt. The kid at the counter told him they could not take it for another 10 days. He went on to say they have to service 20 cars a day and we could leave it but it wont be checked out. Then he said....f you dont like it you can go somewhere else
What?!? And they have this kid talking to customers? Not the best person for dealing with the public.

So guess what Colonial, we did go somewhere else!

My family has been buying from here for years. We always go to see David because he takes excellent care of us. He always goes out of his way to make us feel welcome. We've all always had a great experience here so we'll be keep coming back for years to come.

They made my experience easy, I was upside down quite a bit in a vehicle I didn't feel safe in where winter is approaching. Tim and Jerell were very helpful. Tim is a honest guy and Jerell is very knowledgeable...I really wanted a Grand Cherokee and we weren't sure if it would work with my current situation, well they did it, they made it work! I have never been into a dealership where all the employees are down to earth, funny and can hold a normal conversation without feeling you're just a number in their dealership. Thanks Guys!!!!

Great experience. This is the second vehicle I have purchased here. I walked in and Alex Viveros was our salesman. He was very polite and cordial as well as quite knowledgeable about the products. I was interested in looking at trucks and he asked me all the right questions and showed me a couple trucks. I decided on one and we came to an agreement in very short time with no pressure at all. I had a limit as to my monthly payment and he came back with a payment that was slightly less than what I wanted to pay! Everyone there has been a pleasure to meet and talk with. Alex was very helpful in the process of buying my truck, he worked diligently to get me the vehicle I wanted as soon as possible and for a good price for both parties. Not the same can be said a colleague of his who showed no interest in negotiating a price for a vehicle.

At this time I cannot recommend this dealership due to difficulty contacting the team to view the truck. The general manager was finally able to set up an appointment. When finalizing paperwork, discovered that there was a charge of $1,000.00 for not having a trade in vehicle. We were not given options for payment as financing was non-negotiable and limited to their bank. It was obvious to me that it was not a certified used vehicle, due to the discovery that the cabin air filter was dirty and front tires would not pass certification standards.

My wife and I took a ride to this dealership and were treated very well with no pressure. Alex V

My experience at Colonial was excellent. I made an appointment to have my Jeep's oil changed. As I arrived for the appointment, the employee at the counter reminded me that it was also time to rotate the tires....credit to him for that reminder. The Jeep was promptly re-oiled, tires were rotated, and it was finished in just about an hour. Pretty good for a Monday morning!!! Thanks, Colonial!

This place is TERRIBLE!!!!! I have a lease with the "old management/owners" of the dealership. My lease is up in July. I received 5 called from the dealership telling me to come in and see what can be done regarding my vehicle. I made it clear I was NOT going to waste my time as I was purchasing the vehicle. If I had done that they would have rolled the rest of my lease payment and I would owe more than the price on my agreement. They said no come in things will be worked out. WHAT A LIE!!!!!!! I was, in fact, told I was correct and the remainder of the lease would be rolled over into my payment if I purchased the vehicle HOWEVER IF I LEASED ANOTHER VEHICLE IT WOULD NOT!!!!! I know all dealerships are untrustworthy but this one take the prize as worst

We recently got our Grand Cherokee from this dealership with David's help. he was thorough in his explanation of everything and he really went out of his way to help us with everything. the jeep is cherry and we love it

Worst dealer ever , I drove 3 hours to get there and did an appointment 2 days before to see a vehicle but when I got there , their sales representative was really bad , kept going back and forward with the manager because he didn t even know the price of car, the dealer posted a price on CarGurus and when I got there the price of the car was 20,000 dollars more than what it was listed on CarGurus and also they were forcing me to finance it with them because, apparently paying $800.00 is better than what my own bank was offering which was $680.00 and interest was way much lower . Also didn t seem that they wanted to sell because it was late and what I understood from the rep was the he wanted me to go home and to come back next day .! I don t recommend this dealer at all.

Just tried to buy a Tacoma truck from Lacey and Chip the sales manager, closed Sunday called 1st thing Monday am and had financing and shipping company aligned to buy and a wipe sales manager is holding for potential buyers for a few hours instead of a solid approved deal with me. Do yourself a favor and don't believe their line of BS on their website about highly respected in their community. Money talks but, obviously, not in this case.

Rui Ferreira was my service associate. He was very friendly and professional. I had an oil change scheduled and once my car was up in the lift he called me in to point out small cracks on my tires. I knew I was going to need tires soon but didn t realize how bad they were. Rui was nice enough to quote me on a few different brands of tires so I can see the differences in price. I was glad he wasn t trying to just sell me the most expensive tires. I also needed rear brakes, he wrote up an estimate and also gave me a 10% off postcard to use on these future repairs. Jay didn t spend a lot of time negotiating. Ran around like crazy to get my financing pushed through... I saw the same make/model/mileage vehicle in the area for much more money... I felt their used inventory prices were very fair. I was dreading car shopping. Will go back there when I have to next time.

This dealership stands above most. I spoke with Lacey about making an appointment to come in to look at a specific Jeep. I live in CT, so it was a little difficult to make it to MA during business hours but she worked with me and I got in on Saturday. I worked with Alfonso and he was great! Just purchased my second new vehicle through Tony at Colonial South. Back in 2013 we worked with Tony to purchase a new van for our business and went back to purchase another this Saturday. I went to Colonial in a rush to find a new car. Javier was extremely helpful and made sure I had time to think through exactly what I wanted, while letting me test drive different models to decide. When they didn t have the exact Jeep in stock I wanted (I m a very picky person), Josh and Noor went above and beyond to help locate the Jeep for me. And even better, they gave me an awesome deal on it! I had beyond the worst customer service experience with this dealership. The Service Department is horrendous. No one could provide me with a straight answer or even knew where my vehicle was at the dealership for TWO WEEKS. I have had 3 Jeeps in my lifetime, but after having the terrible experience here, I will never buy another again.
My Jeep Grand Cherokee had a few alerts come across the dashboard on a Sunday afternoon, so I was able to drive it to the dealership and leave it for Service the next morning. I did not receive a call by noon, so I called to make sure they received my key and note. They advised I needed a new catalytic converter and that it was covered under warranty. They told me the part was back ordered, but should be in by Thursday and it was a quick procedure to install and turnaround. I asked about leaving my vehicle there as it was in safe mode and wouldn t accelerate over 40MPH. They said it was fine. I asked about a courtesy vehicle to get me through the week, as the part was backordered. They said no, they don t do courtesy vehicle for back ordered parts.
Thursday rolls around and I don t hear from anyone in the Service Department until I call. I was told the part had not come in and was scheduled to come in Monday. They asked if I could bring my vehicle there so they could complete it that day. I advised I had never picked my vehicle up, as it is a safety issue and asked for them to confirm my vehicle was there. At this point, I had to extend my rental vehicle because they told me it would be in and completed same day. They again told me there is nothing they can do in regards to a courtesy vehicle.
Monday comes around, no call. I call at noon for an update thinking I m going to pick my vehicle up. Again, they ask me if my vehicle is there and again, I say yes, it never left. Then, they advise the part is not due to arrive until Thursday. At this point I m upset and let them know this is exactly what I have been told twice before. I ask if the part comes in, will it be turned around same day, to which they said yes. Then, they tell me there is nothing they can do in regards to the rental; they do not provide courtesy vehicles for backordered parts.
Thursday comes, 11 days since I ve brought my vehicle in. They advise the part has come in, but they won t be able to complete the repair until Monday and to bring my vehicle in that day. I tell them they are the 3rd person who has no idea where my vehicle is. I asked for them to go outside and locate my vehicle to confirm it is there. I then ask for the Service Manager as I have been told so many different stories for the past 2 weeks and all I want is my vehicle back. The Service Manager comes on the phone, attempts to make excuses, wants to know who I ve talked to and when, and that this isn t an easy repair. He also tells me someone else had to wait 53 days for the same repair. I advise I need a courtesy vehicle and am returning my rental vehicle that night as I am already out over $530+, which is probably more than the repair itself is actually worth. He provides me with a courtesy vehicle for one night. I got my Jeep back next day probably because I was in their courtesy vehicle.
I have never been treated so poorly as a customer and do not recommend anyone to go here--especially the Service Department. I m sure you will end up going through the same nonsense I had to deal with.

Dealership: That would work perfect! I will put you in for then! When you arrive, just let them know you spoke with Lacey, and I will introduce you to a product specialist to show you the vehicle!

Me: Lacey I'm extremely taken back by the lack of professionalism that I have experienced when arriving for our appointment. I understand that inventory turns over frequently but a courtesy call would have been appreciated and I would have not made the 30 mile trip. Unfortunately after this experience I not be interested in giving my business to your dealership!

Dealership: Hi Derek, I am from the bottom of my heart truly sorry. I had been trying to keep on top of the vehicle all morning. No one had informed me that the vehicle sold, otherwise, I would of course given you that courtesy call. I completely understand where you are coming from, just please know that I tried all I could to know if it had sold or not. Sadly vehicles are first come first serve here. I truly am sorry.

I have been dealing with Colonial Chryslers service department for just over a year now with my first brand new jeep, at first my experience was AWFUL i never wanted to go in there.. Since dealing with Mike P the service manager along with John and Sonny i now look FORWARD to coming in for all my service needs. Each of them have gone above and beyond for me and i have not 1 complaint thank you guys for everything!

I went to this dealership to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have a 2007 Mazda CX-9 with 72,000 miles for trade in. I did Kelly blue book which was $3800. When salesman came back they offered me $400 for my car. I was so offended. They said kbb would give a check for $250??? Please be careful buying a car here they will screw with the numbers check and double check carefully. They also wouldn t give me the price that was online for $30,000.

My experience purchasing a new vehicle from Colonial was great. Alex my salesman was very knowledgeable and not pushy to sell a vehicle. Other salesman came over and offered some advice on the truck I was looking at. Sales manager greeted me and we negotiated a fair price so I didn t feel like I was taken advantage of. I went back here to buy another Jeep from David since I received such awesome service the first time. He did not disappoint. He showed me the same outgoing, funny courtesy he showed me the last time, which makes buying a new vehicle an easy and exciting experience.

I went shopping for a car with my dad. David is one if the only salesmen who spoke directly to me to find out what my concerns were and what I needed in a car. He guided me to buying the perfect vehicle.

My lease is almost up, I went to Colonial South in Dartmouth. The associates seemed they could not be bothered at all. The customer service was not good at all. The guy did not even stand up when talking to me. Did not seem interested in a sale at all. I own a business, to me this is no acceptable. I felt like they thought I was a stroker. They need to work on customer service. Needless to say When I left there I went to a Chevy dealer in East Providence, They were amazing. I left a deposit on a truck.... I lease every 3 years and I will not be going to colonial south ever again.....

Made my dreams come true!! I had been in the market for a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee for almost a year, and finding one at a decent price that was well taken care of was tricky! Finally, we decided to go to Colonial to see what they had. The communication from the beginning from Janelle was incredible, she adjusted how I preferred to be contacted and was always available to text if I needed to reschedule or had questions. When we got in for our appointment, she set us up with Mark! He was SO helpful in understanding our specific needs and how they related to our lives, and worked hard to find the perfect vehicle for us. We tried 3 total, he gave us an incredible range of options and explained everything so well. We ran the numbers together, made some adjustments and were able to make my monthly payment work for the car that I wanted! The financing was a breeze, the process was quick and painless, and the most important part was that nobody was pushy, no classic "salesman" approach here! Colonial knows how to get it done, and I am so happy that we chose them!

Our experience with Colonial was nothing shy of excellent.

We were searching desperately for a manual, six speed, four door Wrangler and finally found one online at Colonial. When I called, I spoke with Courtney, who was extremely knowledgeable and could not have been nicer. Courtney answered all of my questions and assured her unlimited availability whenever necessary. When the vehicle arrived, Courtney called to notify me and we headed down. When we arrived, we were greeted by Phil Parris, who was also extremely kind, courteous and helpful. Phil gave me money out of his own pocket to put gas in the vehicle as it was off loaded from the delivery truck shortly before we arrived and needed fuel. The kindness and professionalism at Colonial did not stop there. John Weidenfeller, in the finance department, walked us through every detail with out delay and free of hassle, Tyler Stewart, in service, managed the installation of a trailer hitch for me in record time and Noor Rahmany oversaw the entire experience from start to finish to assure professionalism. I will most certainly look to work with Colonial when shopping for my next vehicle and it is because of the honesty, professionalism and courtesy that emulates from every member of their staff. I could not speak more highly of my experience.
