It has a good range of shops. There are 2 food courts with average options. But it could be pretty crowded and according to my experience it is pretty common to run into edgy people ( which I haven't experienced in other southeastern shopping centres).
Well ,I did not have a positive experience their today was buying food from Wendy's when a homeless and drug up guy come up from behind yelling that he wanted my coke on the counter so i gave it to him and brought another one, IT freaked me out a bit and when we left the shopping centre and was out side in shannon mall he was their and started following us again Frankston is not a safe place with the amount of drugged up people hanging around their all day.Only seen one security guard out side wont be going back anymore i done.
Disgusted today. Heaps of cars going in circles no available parks. No signs to say park full two exits blocked one by balstrade other by car that couldnt get out no staff in sight.
I grew up in this place, I've been going here for as long as I can remember. It's usually pretty clean and there's a good amount of shops there. On the other hand, there are times we're I have felt in danger, for example this one time a few weeks ago I witnessed a male in a hood was in a punch on with the security guard and the man walked to one of the pop up shops that had glass cabinets and shoved it over, spilling perfumes and broken glass everywhere. The lady in the shop thankfully saw what was about to happen and jumped out before she got hurt. The man ended up running out of the centre and I didn't see where he went or what happened to him. All I can say is to make security a bit more protective.
Like everything in Frankston upgrades seem to take twice as long as planned. The centre is replacing escalators and the work feels like it has been going on for almost the whole of 2017. Apart from this inconvenience the centre has a wide variety of both retail stores and food.
Good shops and decent food malls. Renovations taking far too long and unbelievably only one parking pay machine top level outside food court pedestrian crossing over Beach Street. Waited 20 minutes in queue this morning which I probably paid extra for. It did not help that the one and only pay machine would not take $1 coins. So everyone dipping into wallets offering alternative coinage. Fix it!
The hand sanitisers at the entrances to the centre are empty. Is there nobody keeping an eye on that? How are we ever going to come out of lockdown with this sloppy attitude. I won t go shopping there again. Too risky
As a shopping centre, there is very little to offer here that is unique, mostly chain brands and discount stores. Definitely okay to go to if you are passing through or it is close to you. Otherwise there are better shopping centres closer by.
Really average complex. Has the basics but nothing really special. In terms of stock and service, their Myer is probably the worst in the metro area. We also had a run in with one of the Bayside cleaning staff once, made a written complaint at the service desk with zero follow up.
At times this plaza is very confusing to get around. There is no information desk and no layout maps or store listings at any of the entrances or beginning of new walkways. While there are some good stores you waist hours trying ti find the store your looking for and end up having to intrude on other business owners for directions which is really not there responsibility. Southland is a better option.
