Went here for lunch one day, and the food seemed like it was pre-made. After that there's not much else. Service felt like a diner, and the feeling in there was dingy.

The service was good and the food was exceptional as usual. I had raw oysters for an appetizer followed by a seared tuna steak. That was perfectly prepared.

Apps and entrees were excellent. We were happy they gave the diverse dinner menu during lunchtime on a Sunday. Service was perfect.

Always great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. You won't be disappointed!

So happy we went! From the time we entered, we were treated like honored guests! I had the best steamers and wonderful soft shell crab. My daughter had a crab cake that seemed to be just crab! She absolutely loved her angry lobster, finished it all!it was a wonderful way to finish the weekend!

Top notch food preparation, quality and service! If you like seafood, try these guys out!

Octopus appetizer was very good,as was the blackened mahi mahi. Service was excellent as usual. Coles is my go -to seafood place in Great Kills.

We had our first family dinner out since March tonight at Coles and it was outstanding! Our server Dan was wonderful. He really made out night that much more fun. The food was wonderful and we had such a great time. Thank you to everyone at Coles for making it a great night for our family.

Great first dinner back to Staten Island with my Mom. Food, service, atmosphere was impeccable! Shrimp parmesan was to die for ! Ask for James as to your server, so polite and attentive !

Another great dinner at Cole's. The food was excellent and our waitress Donna was amazing. Always a great place to eat and grab some drinks.

My husband and I just had the most incredible dinner ever we had the Seafood tier i had the panco shrimp my husband had the Lobster special and for dessert he had the rice pudding. The entire staff was totally on Target my husband tends to drop silverware and napkins and someone was always there to pick them up to give us clean ones they accommodated him as much as they could and it was just incredibly enjoyable all around. The cost was very reasonable for the portion sizes

We were there for my husband's celebration of life. Deborah needs a raised. Her level of professional ism was exceptional. From the appetizer, to our meal was served hot. And it didn't make me feel like we were being rushed. Thank you too your staff when I'm back on the island, I will be back for a meal.

The food is definitely worth 5 stars but the service is not even worth 1 star. I sat at the bar for 4 minutes without the male bartender putting his phone down to greet me or take my drink order. I actually had to say excuse me for him to look up from his phone. I ordered a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and they were bad. Once my friend showed up we moved to a table on the enclosed porch with a beautiful view. Our server, Lisa, was the worst. Took a while for her to come take our order - I got the seafood tower and my friend got the pre fixe meal. After appetizers were delivered, we asked Lisa what the other table was eating because it looked great - she said it was the special, which was never told to us, and it is listed on the outside board. Once food was delivered we didn't see Lisa again until we had to flag her down for another drink. The wrong drink was brought. Dessert wasn't even mentioned even though my friend had it included in her meal. The food was fantastic! The jumbo shrimp were just that - jumbo and the lobster was very sweet and juicy. I was impressed with the cocktail sauce as well - I could really taste the horseradish. Not sure if I will be back.

Went to have dinner with my cousins and I was honestly a bit concerned about the location of the restaurant on Staten Island as I am an African American. The staff was very polite and seated our party quite quickly. The food was beautifully plated and we chose to order from the prefixed menu. The item I chose was not really that tasty in my opinion due to how it was prepared which is why I did not give this restaurant 5 stars. However, everyone else that I was with really enjoyed their food. Our waitress was awesome and made our experience very pleasant. I'm really sorry I don't remember her name.

Best Food in Staten Island! If you're looking to have the freshest seafood it is thing place, every single time I come you can instantly tell how fresh it is. Their Seafood tower is amazing and they have one of the best fried calamari and clam chowder soup I've every had on the island! Their Pre-Fixe menus are great for a date lunch with friend or someone special (they give you a bottle of wine). I I always come back year after year and I would recommend this place to everyone. Prices are great compared to others around them, like Marina Cafe is a too expensive and you wouldn't get the same quality of food with the price you pay there, but at Cole's the price is great considering the freshness of everything.

Good vibe, friendly staff, fresh seafood, reasonable prices and, the most important part, everything was tasty! Update: we visited the place a couple of times, including the Mothers' Day brunch and I have to say, their seafood is amazing.

Food was amazing and our server Deborah was an absolute sweetheart. All the staff here were so amazing and friendly telling jokes. We also were told that the bar tender does magic tricks for you while you sit at the bar. There is no thinking about it we are definitely coming back next time we will take pics

Difficult restaurant to rate..it has been established for many years on Staten Island. Everything is good...ambiance, service, menu, near the water...but is not excellent...it could have been...Anyway, it is a popular restaurant for Staten Islanders...

It was ok for dock side early in the season. Food was fair.. not a large portion. Parking attendant was a little lazy. Had us get our own car. Pricey for the experience.

Food is good, not much flavor, wait staff stalks over you for a plate before you even finish last bite. Prices are high for the quality. Nice place for a date. Also we had a baby so it seemed they were rushing more with our table to get us out quicker. Likely will only come back for before 6 special.

One of my favorite restaurants on staten island. Cole's Dockside is my go-to whenever I am craving seafood.

The staff here is exceptional. They are attentive and super friendly. Service is prompt and they make sure everything is going well.

My favorite dish here is the blackened shrimp and scallop risotto. It's a great balance between texture and flavors. Their zuppa do pesce is also delicious. They have the best sauce on the island in my opinion.

Always reliable for fresh seafood. Nice staff. But if it's cold the outside covered porch is a bit drafty. We change table after ordering. Staff was totally cool about it.

Very nice and attentive service, pleasant atmosphere and beautiful views over the marina. The food is better than average and though deserts are magnificent it is a bit pricy for what it offers.
