I don't know if we were lucky that Our Realtor was Chuck or they all are equally amazing. He is THE MOST PROFESSIONAL Realtor we have dealt with not to mention genuine and honest. He was there with us even after the closing to check if we are doing OK. We felt very comfortable.
AVOID Renee coulson. She has zero initiative took her 3 weeks to schedule an appraisal and makes you look like a liar. she was not even my realtor she represented the buyers of my house and scalped them of several thousand dollars. I feel bad for them. She's nothing more than a useless alcoholic
It was a constant struggle to get maintenance personnel out there to fix issues with the house. The majority of the issue were due to normal aging, which is covered under Texas Tenants' rights. I admit that there was damage to a shower head that was my fault, but again it was never fixed during my tenure there. It was a year and they never fixed the shower head. My fence was rotten due to age and storms, which allowed my dogs to get out. I paid a $300 pet deposit and they did not fix my fence. My fence was held together with a leash. The cabinet under the sink collapsed from water damage from a leaky pipe which never fixed during my tenure. I would have to go to the office multiple times to get any action initiated on work orders. It routinely took several months to close out simple repairs. The cherry on the top was that they provide an extensive list that you have to do to move out, which includes cutting and weeding the yard. My roommate and I had it professionally done and the proprietors are supposed to perform a walk through. They waited after storms and constant rain for approximately three weeks and then charged $100 from my deposit for yard work. I would not recommend this realtor/landlord to anyone and it would be best to work with Dalzell or another company in the area.
If you are shopping for a home ask for Kristy West, she worked like crazy to make things happen for us
Destry Gideon @ Coldwell Banker Panian & Mash has been the best Realtor we ve ever worked with. We got lucky!!! We moved from 1700 miles away and knew no one in the area. Destry was helpful without being pushy, quickly understood exactly what we were looking for and found it! She was always accessible and if she didn t know an answer, she sought out the info quickly. Her help extended to after the move and made the transition so comfortable. She deserves more than 5 stars.
Coldwell Banker is composed of unprofessional, unsympathetic hustlers that care about nothing except getting the most money from you as possible. And they will drain your money. DO NOT RENT WITH COLDWELL BANKER. I would give them 0 stars if I could.
I have edited my review on Rene Coulson realtor at Panian and Mash Realtors. If you are looking to buy sell or lease avoid this woman at all coasts. Ask specifically for Mrs. Ken Smith. She is full of intergrity, knows her professional boundaries and that they are to stay professional. You will never be accused or insulted with disdain because you ask questions and she won't take things personally. She is a professional. Kind regards Rod Crosser
Abilene is a very weird city and the Smith's fortunately do not live in the locality . Probably one of the reasons for their professional and reasonable intellect. I would trust Mrs. Smith 100% of the time.
I just started renting with them and we probably will not renew. When we first saw the house it wasn't ready to be moved into but we weren't moving in for a whole month so fine. We meet with them 2 more times and it isn't until after we sign the lease they decide to bring up that the place needs the roof replaced and it would be happening after we moved it. That in itself is not that big of a deal but I can't think of a single reason that wouldn't bring it up before we signed our lease except that they knew we wouldn't rent if they did. We delt with Joe Mash so maybe they aren't all like this but I feel lied too. Now they are being very very rude anytime we call or email. I suggest renting elsewhere.
DO NOT rent from this place unless you are looking for a slum lord. They will screw you over and take your money, they will make you wait months to get anything fixed. Your AC goes out in dead of summer, to bad, you wait weeks to get it fixed because the owner can t afford to get it done. The refrigerator goes out and you lose all the groceries, the owner suggest you buy your own refrigerator. This company is a joke! Do yourself a favor and avoid it at all cost!!!!!
