Never disappoint, I usually get the three meat plate, but this time I tried the monster bake potato and I must say it's a monster. The food is always hot fresh and I love the sweet bbq sauce. Try one of these bake potatoes, but have an appetite, because you get your money worth. Don't forget sweet tea to top it off

This would be my second visit due to a bogo coupon. I don't live close but I thought it was worth it so I checked the website and thought that 2 dinners for 11.99 was worth the distance. I sent someone to pick up the order which was priced more than the website and was missing a side. When I called to inquire about the missing side and the difference in the pricing (one meal was $14.99 instead of the $11.99 that the website shows) I encountered the worst customer service that I have dealt with in a long time. Before He hung up on me he told me that he didn't have anything to do with the prices on the website and charges what he shows at the register and that I could come by and get a side anytime, and basically I got a free $11.99 meal so he didn't understand the issue. I again asked about the website prices and he hung up on me. I called back to ask for the owner, now to report his rudeness, and was told they were not there and he would not give me their name, or his name and only repeated the name of the restaurant before hanging up on me again.

The intent of the bogo promotion is to introduce new customers and hopefully repeat business. You get repeat business by offering a good product at reasonable and reliable prices. Good customer service should be a given.

This visit was Saturday 1/26/19 between 6-7 p.m. Needless to say I won't be going back for my side that I didn't get.

TERRIBLE SERVICE - so we will never be back after the terrible service I just received. On 3/4/2019 I placed a DoorDash order for Cokers. On the app it was a little confusing for picking sides, so I called them after placing the order. They assured me we would get the correct food. Well to make a long story short, we were missing the side of green beans, the pickles/onion/peppers AND barbecue sauce (of all things...) what kind of BBQ place doesn t give you bbq sauce (and I DID ask for it). I called them and they refused to give me a refund and said I would have to come up there for my missing food. I am pregnant, that s the whole reason I did door dash in the first place so I wouldn t have to leave the house!!!!! I told the manager this and he literally didn t care. I am saddened by this because the food was pretty good but we will never be back.

I have been coming to Coker's about every other week (sometimes every week) for a few months now. I've had the baked potato and a few other things, but have my absolute go to. They have a $10 sandwich special, I get chopped beef with fires. Home style fries and they give you plenty. The meat is always a perfect balance of lean and fat. It comes presauced and I don't think it needs more. And the bun is toasted, the best toasted buns in Pantego. The food is hot which far to rare these days. They are so friendly they treat you like family.

It s not the same Coker s that it used to be. Now the chopped beef is full of fat. The portions are smaller. They don t give you gravy with your chicken strip platter. And it only comes with two strips. And it s ten bucks. They re going downhill. Can t say I ll go back anymore.

One of our favorites!

One of our favorites!
Family owned and operated, we are just waiting for the youngest to pick up a few tables.
We were introduced to Cokers by our adopted dad Jimbo.
We frequented often, its hard to return without our friend.
We will someday soon, the food its great, I prefer the marbalized brisket although I prefer to say fatty.
My husband's fav is the pulled pork sandwich.
Yummy
We miss our friends at Coker's BBQ

I think this place has went downhill as far as taste is concerned. Must be new owners, idk but this used to be our favorite place for bbq, but not so much anymore. The rib plates are smaller, the ribs used to be hot, now they taste like left overs. The mac and cheese taste like it's from a box, not authentic at all. I think we will have to find a new spot. It's really a shame.

The place was cozy people were nice, but the food was lacking. If anything when it comes to BBQ if you lack good service or lack seating you can slide, but if you don't have the food then there's no saving it. The brisket had flavor but was dry, it was like biting into a stack full of napkins. The wife had the ribs very very lean and dry as well. The little one has the chopped beef and that was like a stack full of wet napkins drenched in BBQ sauce. The fries were soggy no crisp to them, and the fried okra tasted like they were out of the freezer section at your local store. There were maybe a total of 8 people in there at any given time on a Friday, Jambo across the street was more packed.

Okay I guess. I had the pork and brisket and I wasnt impressed with either. The sides were okay but the waitress was very friendly. There's just way too many good BBQ places to go in DFW to come back here.

I used to frequent this establishment often. Often times telling friends that they had the best BBQ in Arlington and they need to try them out. Fast forward to today and I left 3/4 of the food on the table. My friend had to 'doctor up' what she had and only ate the ribs. $50 wasted. I won't be back. Server stated same cooks.... Impossible. I'm quite sure the ownership has changed because the old owners would never. We left and went to get something to actually eat. It was not seasoned at all. Even the peach cobbler lacked flavor... How?!

I really don't understand how this place stays in business has good ratings and calls its product Barbeque . The staff was awesome, very friendly, shout out to Brandi. I ordered a moist or what they called marbled sliced brisket sandwich, it was under done, not tender at all, no bark to speak of, it reminded me of a roast that had not been cooked long enough, and I did not taste smoke at all, all in all this bbq was UNDERWELMING! The sausage was so so, the onion rings were frozen beer battered that you can buy from any restaurant supply place out of a plastic bag, and I don't care for those. Their sweet sauce was okay, their regular sauce I didn't care for it at all (to vinegary). I'm not sure what kind of wood they used,im thinking oak, and I didnt care for it. The restaurant itself was very cozy, really, really cool things (nick-nacls)on the wall and old old signs from way back in the day. I like the way they designed the place. I'm not going back.

First trip March 2019: Brisket was PERFECT! The veggies were... differently flavored. The green beans tasted like they had been cooked with sage in the recipe, gave an odd aftertaste. The baked beans tasted like they had been smoked or had liquid smoke added edible but not tasty. Sauce was okay, but not a stand out which to me, is crucial when eating BBQ. Bologna sandwich was great.

Second trip August 2020: First trip's veggies scared me off retrying, so I got only brisket and sauce to take home and do our own veggies. But this time the formerly amazing brisket was too fatty and chewy. However, the sauce was amazing this time, a standout winner hands down.

Service People: Always kind and courteous, so helpful with suggestions.

We will try a third time eventually, but if disappointing again, will be the last time.

My husband liked the pulled pork, but I thought it was dry and tasteless. The french fries and mac&cheese were both terrible. The building itself is run-down, from the frayed carpet in the dining room to the joke of a ladies room. There are two stalls in the ladies room; one has no door at all and the other has a door that doesn't close all the way. The only bright spot to the dinner was that the waitress was very friendly. If you like lots of fried food and aren't picky about taste or the facilities, this is the place for you.

Consistently below par. The cooks clearly don't take pride in their work and there's always something missing whether we eat in or pick up. I have been coming here for years and it's always a gamble, especially when I order out. Either something is over cooked or missing from the order, every time.

As a Memphis native, I'm picky when it comes to pulled pork. Cokers served lunch at our hospital today and when I saw it, I knew I couldn't pass them up. Their pulled pork and brisket is to die for!!!! I will definitely be visiting them in the near future and becoming a regular.

It was delicious! The waitress was a young girl in high school, I think. She was great. She went above and beyond. I'm pretty sure whatever you get here is going to be good. My favorite would be the chopped brisket and sausage, of the choices. It is a little older and definitely has been around a while. I think that speaks volumes about how good they are, though.
