First time here wanted to try and did in the storm, girl at the front her customer service was terrible,me and my daughter stood at the register several minutes ,guess her receipts were more important ,she made it clear she didnt really wanna be bothered ,he finally says are you ready to order ,I said yea waiting on you ,no greeting or anything, not sure if she just lacks customer service skills or she had a issue with our race, young guy cleaning when we walked in looked at us kept walking, a older white couple came in he immediately said ,hello welcome

It was our first time there and we will definitely go back. The staff were friendly, especially our server, Tiffany. She was outstanding in service and friendliness! As for food, the meat falls right off the rib bones, sausage was good, brisket was little dry for my taste but with their BBQ sauce, very good. My sides of potato salad and fried okras, I loved. The loaded baked potato my daughter had was huge and very good.

When the original owner who built this business, Bruce, was alive and over seeing his place, I would recommend it to everyone. But, now, more than 2 years after Bruce passed away, it has gone so far down hill that I can not in all honesty ever recommend anyone to ever try this place. Besides the rudenessof more than half the employees, the business lies to the customers. The sweet sauce IS NOT MADE IN-HOUSE as they tell customers. It is in fact bought from a different company, it is in fact "Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet BBQ Sauce" that you can find on any grocery store shelf. So if it's the sweet taste of the sauce you crave than by all means go to your local grocery store and get a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet BBQ Sauce and make it at home for a lot less $$$ and a whole lot nicer experience.

Good bbq I called in my order at 7 was told it will be around 25 to 30 minutes I said that is fine I go there at 730 now waiting someone walks in and makes a to go order and get his before I get mine I got mine at 805 so if you call it in or order online don't be in a hurry because you'll be the only one in a hurry just saying I'll go to cookers next time

Food was good. Disappointed with how they are dealing with COVID today. They have the needed signs requiring masks however I guess it must not apply to their employees. Only downside is most of the employees were not wearing masks. The 2 cooks didnt have a mask on at all. The cashier was hanging below the chin. The other server at least covered her mouth. I only saw 1 employee actually wearing a mask properly. Otherwise I would return for the food in the future.

Sadly disappointed in our last visit late on a Saturday afternoon. No problem with placing your order at the front counter before you seat yourself. Employees are friendly, courteous and quick to serve. Hubby and I ordered the combo plate with 3 meat choices. The kiddo wanted the typical chix strips and mac/cheese. Food came out a little too quickly. All meat was obviously pre-sliced and kept under warming lights or rewarmed. The ribs were a bit dry on the outside but had a tasty smoky flavor. It's a shame that you could tell they had been cut some time ago and lost their moisture.
Sliced brisket was dry from rewarming and tough, no flavor.
Sausage was juicy but it was obviously sliced to order.
Hubby ordered the bologna which was pleasantly delightful. Pulled pork had to be sent back because it smelled old and just about to turn rancid. After walking back up to the counter, they did replace it with "fresh" pork (why not serve fresh the first time?) along with a comped dessert.
Banana pudding was obviously days old as the wafers had disintegrated and turned the pudding brown.
We absolutely loved Cokers in the past but it will be a while before we return.

A lot of people have complaints, but my entire family and many friends - some from out-of-state - dine at Coker s. We re not takeout people so I don t know anything about their takeout and don t care. We re strictly dine-in people. Service can be a little spotty because they do a HUGE takeout business and staff can be very busy with that. If you need ANYTHING and get off your dead end and ASK, they ll take good care of you. There s nothing any of us have eaten there that hasn t been good and some of it is stellar. We like the fact that Coker s does NOT adulterate their smoked meats with sauce. You add which one you like or if you re a purest like me, you enjoy it the way it comes. Their sides are great, but their cobbler, especially the pecan, is really special. If you don t like the place, don t go there anymore. If you ve never been, you re gonna love their food. If you go there all the time, you know I m right. I think their food is tops, service good enough, portions big and prices reasonable. Their all-you-can-eat deal is the best anywhere.

This is by first time stopping in here. I've driven by it many times and the parking lot has always been empty which is usually a bad sign for a restaurant. The staff was pleasant and greeted me as soon as I walked in. She told me about the daily special which was a sandwich, a side and drink for $10. I chose the brisket sandwich and it was pretty good BBQ. I would eat it again but it wasn't mouth watering that I just couldn't ever not eat there again but it was better than Jambos that's across the street.

This is my first time at Coker's, and I came in from having a really bad day. The staff was just so sweet. They even gave me a drink on the house. I had the sliced brisket and it was just delicious. Will DEFINITELY be back!!

The meats were well prepared and not dried out at all, which is always a danger with BBQ. I felt the meats were under seasoned and had to add sauce which as any true Texas BBQ fan knows is not right. Texas BBQ is all about the rub! The sauce was way too sweet. Banana pudding was good and they have me a sample before I ordered it.
A pretty good meal but I wouldn't drive too far to get it again

Reading the reviews I am happy to see I am not the only one disappointed. Me and my family moved down here in January 2018 and found Cokers which used to be such a gem. Diverse staff, friendly service, great food. We used to come every friday but my THINGS HAVE CHANGED. Idk if it is new management but the staff changed, the atmosphere is dry, and the food is bland. My order is always missing something when I go thru the drivethru and it just isnt the same. The brisket platter with fried okra and baked beans was my usual. Now the brisket is dry and tasteless, the okra is barely fried, and the baked beans look fresh out the can to container. Bring the old Cokers back. I am so disappointed.

Nice old school place. Lots of cool coke memorabilia. Service was very polite, fast and accurate. Food was pretty damn good. Brisket was very flavorful but not to the point where it just tasted like smoke. Ribs were literally fall off the bone and not just full of fat. Bathrooms were decent as well. Bathrooms are a reflection of how clean or dirty the kitchen may be. I would definitely visit agian. Prices were average for a bbq place.

Best bbq in the metroplex. My kids are picky eaters and always leave a clean plate here. Saturday nights are cool to visit because they have family karaoke night. The staff here is super nice and make your visit much more enjoyable. You just have to come try for yourself, trust me you'll want to come back

Their food has really gone downhill since the first time we ate there. The mash potatoes had no flavor, the beans where not cooked all the way through. The meat has more fat than meat. New management needs to step up the game.
