Very busy while I only visited practice facility not course. Practice is great
Greens are better. Airation has been a problem in last few seasons. Approach too aggressive. The greens were unplayable for 6-8 weeks this year?

Lessons this morning from Carol Rhoades. Fantastic! identified root cause of my bad chipping and got me on the road to recovery. Really knows her stuff and great at communicating the "fix". Can't wait to try it in a game. Thank you Carol!!!

Great golf courses. Home to Dubs Dread a former PGA stop. Clubhouse is dated but well worth playing a round if in the area

This is a beautiful golf course! It is also very challenging. There are bunkers everywhere on this course both in front of the green and off the fairways. If you miss a green it s almost certain you ll end up in a bunker. Greens and two boxes were very well-maintained. The greens offer a lot of undulation making it challenging for the average amateur golfer. It would be beneficial for amateurs to make sure they are using the correct set of tees on this course.

Greens are slow not a good value. Practice green has brown patches. Overpriced.. You pay for the name not the quality. Better maintained greens in the area.

A very nice golf course and the clubhouse is fairly elegant. My advice to the staff - hire a bartender that knows how to make cocktails.

Price on dubs is a bit absurd - should be a discount for locals!!
Range is very nice with tracer technology and sim. Staff has always been friendly and kind on every occasion.
Tournaments are also well managed with the golf genius apps. With big tourneys - getting payouts can be a bit laggy as they are running multiple tourneys back to back on the certain weekends
Played #2 Ravines and was extremely disappointed. This used to be my favorite course but may not come back. Overall still challenging layout but course condition was poor. Water and maintenance needed. Hole 6 was completely shut down (no advance warning except a sign posted in the tee box); didn t realize the price to play was for 17 holes.
Played Dubs mid May. I realize the weather has been challenging with rain and cold, so this 1 star takes all that into account...This review essentially is about expectations of paying $150...
The good : The staff is very nice, the gentleman who grabbed our bags at the parking lot was very helpful and nice, the pro shop staff are very nice, the food staff are very nice. The layout and bunkers are really a gem. Obvious why they used to play a tour stop here. For how much rain they'd had it wasn't awful.
The bad : For $150....The greens had been verti-cut, shaggy and SLOWWWWW pretty bad. The rough is incredibly high with a lot of bad spots - again I think because of the wetness they had not been able to consistently cut correctly. A lot of mud spots - which again I expect for mid may and how much rain they've had, but if I'm paying $150, I'm expecting better. The club house, bar, restaurant, range are in desperate need of an upgrade/update.

We were there for a wedding shower brunch, the food was very good, they had an omelette table and a waffle table along with regular breakfast fare. It is a beautiful clubhouse and fantastic service. I would not hesitate to have a affair there or just go for a meal after golf.

Golf was great. Driving range is heated. Food was very tasty. Chewy is a great server listen to his recommendations about the menu.
You just aren t going to find a quality experience for a better price. We weren t going to look at Cog Hill because we figured the name would come with a high price tag. The clubhouse was the exact look we wanted and the food was fantastic (Get the sausage). You can spend 20k on a wedding if you want too, but you can get that same wedding at cog hill for half that. Debbie was our waitress at the head table and she was simply fantastic.
Had a wonderful time the service was just great food was great and I will recommend this beautiful place.
It was nice finally getting out to get a game in. Hats off to Cog Hill for putting together a 2 man scramble tournament. Was a great day.
Cog Hill was very ordinary. The entree was chicken breast that was not tasty. The pasta was cold and overcooked. The appetizers were very good. I wouldn't choose it for an event venue.
Cog Hill Country Club # 4 golf pro level golf course was a Real challenge today.
The food was great. Every single item that we tried on the menu was wonderful. The staff was incredibly courteous and very helpful and attentive. Fantastic venue
Course #3. I made a par 4. I holed out from the fairway 120 yards away! Today is my 89th day since I started golfing, so excited!!!!
It wasn't a good day for golf it was raining and cold
What a joke!!! Make sure not to pick this place when planning a large event , poor things won't take responsibility for stuff that Is getting delivered !!! That means if delivery comes sooner ( most people r happy in that case) they will refuse it ...... And most vendors do not re-deliver ....

Cog Hill was an absolute gem. Everyone was so kind and understanding every step of the process planning for my sister s bridal shower. After rescheduling and changing plans numerous times, the staff at Cog hosted our event SEAMLESSLY!!! I could not have asked a better team. Even with masks on, everyone enjoyed themselves. I look forward to hosting our next event with you and highly recommended everyone looking for an event space to look no further and book with Cog!
Great golf facilities with four courses and driving range
Cog Hill is a great public golf course complex. A country club for all. The Jemsek family, especially Frank, make this place feel like a home away from home
Played Cog Hill #2 3/12/16. Nobody in the pro shop told you that there were 3 traditional holes closed and the greens weren't cut since the fall. They provided temporary/alternative holes but they weren't nearly as nice as the holes that they have taken out of play. Paid over $60 for the worst green conditions I've ever played on.
I play frequently and I have enjoyed playing this course this course several times last year. But if you're looking to get out this spring don't play here. It is a rip off.
